Beautiful mountain hut and excellent food. Average prices. Great for a leisurely stroll starting from the Obereggen–Ochsenweide cable car.

Beautiful building and stunning views. We stopped here to eat and rest a bit. There's a fresh water spring and plenty of lounge chairs for resting, and for those with children, there's also a children's playground. For lunch, we had buttered spinach ravioli and a trio of dumplings, finishing with apple studel with vanilla cream. All delicious in a stunning mountain hut.

Great mountain service, hospitality - ideal place to take some rest after the hiking trip or particularly before its end to keep the atmosphere in calm. Special appreciation for the kind Slovak waiter, he makes feeling from here incredible in the way of his kind attitude (we are Czechs). Thanks a lot, bye hope in the future:-)

14/08/2026: Pizza Rosengarten: Crispy crust, thin crispy base, juicy spicy topping! Highly recommended!
11/08/2026: The staff was very friendly and efficient. The food arrived quickly and as ordered. The pizza was delicious, but I had to deduct one point because most of the toppings were in the middle of the pizza, right where the dough is thinnest. This left hardly any toppings at all. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

25/07/2026: Very tasty food (I tried the Wienerschnitzel, was one of the best I had), lovely view from outside
23/07/2026: It's worth a stop; just a few minutes from the center, it offers a wonderful view of San Candido and the mountains. Family-run, it serves excellent traditional dishes. Highly recommended.
