best place in town BY FAR. banana - amazing, kiwi - insane, rasberry - DELICIOUS. people who rate this place a one star are liars. i can tell that the flavors are made by fruit and have no artificial coloring in them. the gelato is well - priced and fair for the amount of gelato you receive. the owner has to be the sweetest person i ever met, even letting me taste up to 5 flavors. this place really made my day, i bought their gelato atleast 2 times a day throughout my 6 day trip in florence. 100% recommend.

I returned a second time with friends after we were in Sicily. It's the only cannolo that can compete with anything outside of the island, not to mention the gelato, all in a wonderful family-run setting. It's truly worth it.

Wow. If I had to describe this experience in one word, this is what it would be. Meet Ranieri. Whether or not he was the owner, he may have well been. He was there late cleaning when we accidentally stumbled upon this gem, full from dinner, not sure what to expect, having read loads of reviews of touristy gelato, and cannoli places, this was not the case. He was more than happy to accommodate and to keep his door open for us. After his explanation about what makes a cannoli a real cannoli, filling the crust with fresh ricotta in front of us, it was clearly different. Different in the way that we will never experience something like it again. Perfecto. And the gelato. None of the crazy vibrant colors, and exposed marketing with pushy workers bringing you in, he was simply making sure his store was in pristine condition with gelato preserved in tubs at all times. The most flavorful and lightest gelato I’ve ever had. Personal recommendation would be Cremá. Do not skip dessert. Especially not here.
