04/04/2026: I found the place very welcoming and the staff extremely friendly. They bring the dishes quickly, but you can chat and enjoy their dishes without rushing. We tried the bruschetta with lard and cherry tomatoes and the charcuterie board, then the tordelli and green lasagnette with ragù, marinated cod, and finally the rice cake and cheesecake. Everything was delicious; you get the feeling that the food is prepared with quality ingredients. I recommend finishing your meal with their homemade amaro. If you're in the Carrara area and want to enjoy traditional local cuisine, I highly recommend it.

15/03/2026: When we want to have a meal with always appetizing dishes😋 and excellent quality we come to BERNARDI 🤩 his dishes as well as being amazing to look at are super tasty to the taste 😋🤤 the prices have however increased slightly.. but given the trend of the market in crisis with these absurd wars.. they go there to pamper ordinary people as always...... I absolutely recommend coming and savoring all their delicacies

09/04/2026: A welcoming place where you can read one of the booksharing books, grab a coffee, do some therapy or exercise, or buy an organic item or handmade jewelry. Really nice. Very friendly staff.

06/12/2025: Great coffee! Many many options. Sweet and responsive staff. Good snack options - croissant was good, plum cake was good too and the salmon cream cheese sandwich too. Space to sit and charging point was available!

09/04/2026: A charming little hotel, ideally located within the city walls near the Piazza del Anfiteatro in Lucca. The hosts are a very friendly couple. Parking is available. Breakfast is included and very generous, served on beautiful antique china. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated.

17/01/2026: My wife and I chose Lucca to spend a night with my wife during a weekend in Tuscany. The "Alla Corte degli Angeli" hotel is an extremely prestigious establishment; the hospitality is truly remarkable, and the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and welcoming. The property is located in the historic center and is housed in a truly beautiful old building. The only drawback is that it's not very easy to reach by car because it's located within the ZTL (Limited Traffic Zone). I still give it top marks because: 1. Despite the inconvenience, the staff promptly arranged for us to get a ZTL permit; 2. It's still in the historic center, making it a strategic location for exploring the city on foot.

11/04/2026: Lunch on April 11, 2026. I think I ate the best pici I've ever had... and I've tried a lot. I told the owner, who let me in (I was standing outside): he showed me the freshly hand-rolled pici and introduced me to the lady who had made them. The main course, the dessert, and even the homemade liqueur were also truly excellent! In short: excellent food, a splendid location, and top-notch staff.

07/03/2026: Gorgeous meal in Pisa at this lovely little place. We had the “mini pie” and the tagliatelle with pumpkin and mushroom, followed by the stuffed pumpkin flowers and the slow cooked beef. Just wonderful. The square was buzzing and joyful, and the service charming and passionate about the food and delicious wine. Much recommended and great value. Exactly what you want from eating in Italy. Simple, well made and delicious food from great ingredients.

15/03/2026: We visited in mid-March, on a Sunday for lunch in the enchanting San Miniato. The restaurant is beautiful and bright, with large windows overlooking the splendid valley. The wait staff is fabulous, attentive to every need, always kind and professional. It's really hard to express anything about the dishes because they were all so good, with well-defined yet delicate flavors that combined to create a symphony that is hard to forget. High-quality, seasonal ingredients that showcase the local produce. We tried the land tasting, and our 13-year-old daughter was won over by the bottega with dried tomatoes and guinea fowl, duck, and rabbit ragù. Finally, the chef, a wonderful person with kindness in his eyes, was a pleasure to thank for the wonderful lunch. I recommend going, even more than once, to explore the various menus. It's a place that exudes simple, elegant cordiality.

18/04/2026: I'm back after months and can only confirm what I've already said. Amazing pizza...offered in dozens of flavors with unique and delicious combinations. Obsessive care and attention to the raw materials used and prepared with passion. On top of all this...the staff is extremely kind and knows how to turn a simple stop for a pizza by the slice into a special moment of sharing! Well done! 10 out of 10
