05/07/2025: Five of us went there twice for dinner, each time making a reservation for the morning. This is especially necessary on weekends. The ambiance in the heart of the old town is great. The service is very good, and we were also impressed by the pizzas. A standard pizza costs 8 to 10 euros. There are also specialty versions (e.g., with truffle), which range from 10 to 16 euros. The waiters all speak good English. We didn't wait long for our food, even though it was full. I can 100% recommend this restaurant!

02/10/2025: I'm celiac and vegetarian, so it's not easy to find a restaurant that meets my needs. The food is excellent, with homemade vegetables and jams. I found a wide selection and impeccable attention to detail. The location is spectacular in the summer, with the outdoor area but also welcoming inside. It's typically Tuscan, with a mandolato-style upper dining room. Highly recommended. Everyone was great, from the kitchen to the dining room.

16/09/2025: We were excited to try this restaurant, but overall it was disappointing. The Florentine steak, while it had decent flavor, was significantly undercooked — about 60% blue — and overpriced. We were never asked how we’d like it prepared, which is surprising since medium rare is a standard preference. The bread was fresh, but unlike every other restaurant we’ve visited in Italy, no olive oil or balsamic vinegar was included. Instead, olive oil was an additional €5 with the note that you “get to keep the bottle.” The ravioli was underwhelming and lacked flavor. The water service was confusing. Like most diners, we expected bottled still water and assumed we’d be charged per bottle. When we asked to remove a second unopened bottle from the bill, staff explained that you only pay once and then get free refills — something not advertised anywhere. Because of that explanation, we thought we had essentially paid for the bottle and could take it with us, but staff were quite adamant that we could not. On the positive side, the ambiance was lovely and the wine was excellent. However, there was no wine list provided, so ordering by the glass felt like going in blind without knowing the prices.

14/09/2025: Good food, good wines. Service entrusted to a courteous, compulsively witty young man. At the end of the dinner, after about an hour at the reserved table, he confesses with embarrassment that he has to ask us to move to the counter: there's been a mistake and the table is being served to someone else. He specifies that he approached us because he feels a certain affinity.

04/10/2025: Amatriciana with amazing homemade pasta, even the cod was delicious. I ate well and spent little. First course, second course with side, water, wine, and coffee, all for €30. The waitress was very kind and professional.

02/10/2025: We received the suggestion to stop at this Osteria during our e-bike tour from Siena, and it was absolutely worth it. Everything was delicious — the filet with porcini mushrooms, the filet with caramelized onions, the pasta, a starter of bread, cheese and prosciutto, and the tartufi were all incredibly good. Highly recommended!

04/10/2025: Arriving at port and disembarking ravenously hungry at dinnertime, knowing you'll have another 400km to drive? Done, but luckily we discovered this wonderful place. Excellent pizza, light crust, and no skimping on the toppings. Highly recommended!

06/07/2025: The place is full of people, I sat on the top floor which was empty and all the tables were full of dirt and leftover food and drinks from customers. The whole time I was sitting here, not a single employee came up. The price is cheaper than other places but I was disappointed with the pastries. If you walk a few meters down the street you will reach other places, maybe at a slightly higher price in euros, but definitely delicious. The jam-filled croissant is completely empty and only filled at one point in the middle. I have eaten better cannelloni and spoliatella just down the street. The orange juice is indeed freshly squeezed. Because of the rush, the staff is not warm but does everything quickly and impatiently and there were also many misunderstandings during the selection of the three pastries. Disappointing.

03/10/2025: I had such a wonderful experience at this tea café! The bubble tea was absolutely delicious perfectly balanced, with rich flavor and chewy pearls made just right. You can tell they really care about the quality of their drinks. What made the visit even more special was the owner. So kind, welcoming, and genuinely nice — they made me feel comfortable and valued as a customer. It’s rare to find a place where both the product and the people shine, but this café has both. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great bubble tea and warm hospitality. I’ll definitely be coming back!🧋👍🏼
