06/04/2026: Excellent gelato shop, friendly staff! Among the classic flavors, there are also some interesting innovative options that never disappoint, and the creams are rich and tasty. I'll definitely be back to try new combinations 😋 P.S. If you're unfamiliar with a flavor, ask politely what it contains and then decide WITHOUT asking for samples!!! 🤦🏼‍♀️

29/03/2026: Excellent ice cream shop, but especially for its assortment of Sicilian pastries... cannoli and cassata, brioche (bbrosce in dialect) with ice cream, and other amazing delights for the palate and heaven for the soul. Never tried it? Then you're in hell!

17/05/2026: I paid 3 euros for hot water… it wasn’t even on the menu… I just asked. If I paid 3 euros, you have to fill the bottle completely! And they only filled it halfway and complained!!! The bottle is 800ml… 1 liter of ultra-luxury water for 3 euros. How rude???!!!

17/05/2026: A return visit after 6 years to reminisce about the beautiful square and the local focaccia. We tried the focaccia and some small desserts.

18/05/2026: The servers were horribly rude, kept interrupting us in the middle of ordering.

12/05/2026: I happened upon them one evening, and besides the divine food, they made me feel right at home. Excellent service, super attentive to detail and respectful. I recommend them to anyone who wants to experience a royal experience while also feeling at home.

09/04/2026: A charming little hotel, ideally located within the city walls near the Piazza del Anfiteatro in Lucca. The hosts are a very friendly couple. Parking is available. Breakfast is included and very generous, served on beautiful antique china. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated.

17/01/2026: My wife and I chose Lucca to spend a night with my wife during a weekend in Tuscany. The "Alla Corte degli Angeli" hotel is an extremely prestigious establishment; the hospitality is truly remarkable, and the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and welcoming. The property is located in the historic center and is housed in a truly beautiful old building. The only drawback is that it's not very easy to reach by car because it's located within the ZTL (Limited Traffic Zone). I still give it top marks because: 1. Despite the inconvenience, the staff promptly arranged for us to get a ZTL permit; 2. It's still in the historic center, making it a strategic location for exploring the city on foot.

03/05/2026: The Aperiveg platter is spectacular! A feast for the eyes and a constant surprise with the various morsels that make up this culinary masterpiece. The octopus and pasta with shellfish are worthy of an Oscar. The chef is very young (but already very experienced) and her eyes radiate passion. The freshest ingredients, everything handmade, including the pasta, and meticulous attention to detail goes into the choice of table accessories. Well done!

31/05/2026: If you are looking for lunch on the was the tower or just generally this is the place to stop. Focaccia’s are super fresh and the option they have for fillings are great. Service was good and good came out really quickly. Would definitely stop here again!.

27/05/2026: The focaccias are delicious, the beer a bit pricey. If you're hungry, buy the large one. Although the small ones are a good size, they're so good you'll wish you had more.

05/03/2026: We went to this restaurant for a wedding anniversary. The place is spacious, very rustic, but pleasant. The gluten-free food is truly excellent. I had a truly sublime portion of cold cuts, gnocchi with ragù, pennette with porcini mushrooms, and a well-cooked and crispy suckling pig. Good service and friendly staff. I will definitely be back.

10/06/2026: I've never been there, but they gave us assorted piruli as a gift, and it was a wonderful surprise. Highly recommended. They're beautifully presented, Estonian, with so many flavors and combinations, all beautifully made, with different consistencies. I'd definitely recommend trying them again.
