12/07/2025: I've been following Jack on Instagram for a while, and today we finally stopped by for lunch. Delicious sandwiches, made to order (Jackebab and Jackpot). An explosion of taste and flavor!!! Really, really good. And what can I say about him? Sunny, kind, very friendly, and with a good face!! We'll definitely be back!!! 👍🏻

28/06/2025: Today I had lunch with a sublime sandwich!! Truly an excellent sandwich with pickled tongue. The sandwich is beautifully stuffed, with fresh ingredients, and the sauces are really tasty!! The environment is clean, spacious and quiet. Jack is just like in the videos, on social media: friendly, genuine, and sunny. It was a pleasure to meet him, taste his delicacies and have a chat with him!!! I will return to visit him soon, I want to try all the sandwiches!!

16/09/2025: Cute place Friendly staff Food was underwhelming, guess there isn't much of a standard when you are the only kosher place in town.

14/09/2025: We went for lunch, and the first impression was truly positive; the atmosphere is welcoming and familiar. For starters, we had the Jewish-style artichoke, which was excellent—even though I'm no expert, it was really well-fried. Next, we had borscht and zucchini and cheese meatballs, both very good. Finally, we had a Jewish-style cheesecake, superb. I'm truly satisfied and will be back.

08/10/2025: Loved our dinner, we were group of 8 and everyone enjoyed it! We chose to have the steak Florentine which is very popular here and it was cooked to perfection. One of our guests preferred it more done than the medium rare. The kitchen heated up a plate that she could cook her pieces on to make them well done. Staff was very accommodating and helpful and suggesting wine and meal options. Our dinner was fantastic and we each received a shot of limoncello on the house at the end of the night. Very cute and comfortable atmosphere. Not a very big place but nothing here is we would highly recommend it.

08/10/2025: We were part of a group with a set meal so I can't comment on individual dishes but our choice of various types of meat and the side dishes was good. They were also very good about accommodating people with special dietary needs and switching out the set menu for alternatives

14/09/2025: We went here three times and it was exceptional each time. The food is incredible, and it feels like you’re dining with family.

10/09/2025: I went for a business dinner. The place was magnificent, the food delicious, and the staff fantastic. The owner made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended, the wine was excellent too!

12/09/2025: Every time I come in, something I want is always missing... the baristas are always in a hurry... pigeons inside the place. I'm sorry, but this is a factor that affects the overall rating, since I have a phobia and am uncomfortable around pigeons, especially in an enclosed space. And I'm not the only one in the world; it's a fairly common phobia. Anyway, the pastries are excellent and the coffee is good. (Unfortunately, the sandwich at 8:00 AM was limp, so I presume it was from the day before.) Response to the owner: I only offered constructive criticism. The photo is from December 31st, but I only had that one. I've been here several times in the months since.

24/08/2025: There's no parking. Only on the street. There are shuttle buses, though. It took 20 minutes. We ordered and sat down, they hold your order and call you as soon as your tray is ready. 10 minutes... The food is average. Good, not exceptional.

12/08/2025: I just don't get the point why it's 4.5. it's the best restaurant in the area..Food and wine is marvellous

04/10/2025: For those hungry, I recommend it; the prices are reasonable. It's a good option for a snack between breakfast and lunch. I recommend the larger size for two people.

15/08/2025: I'm sorry, I don't like giving bad reviews, but I make sandwiches better myself... What a shame. From the discount-store quality of the bread to the plethora of truly subpar sauces... I can't even begin to think about the meat. It took me 24 hours to digest that sandwich. Maybe only young people who can digest rocks eat them. But if a healthy 45-year-old man can't digest a sandwich, there's a problem.

08/07/2025: Amazing place. I am tourist, but this place i had to visit twice in 10 years, how delicious mr bosses burgers are! Truly chefs kiss!!! So juicy, homemade bacon, amazing charismatic chef, recommend, grazie💚

04/10/2025: Last night, three friends and I had dinner at this magical place, with wonderful, flavorful dishes. The maître d' was kind, attentive, and very sociable, and he took us on this journey, as was the other waiter, who was always efficient. Thank you, you're a wonderful team. 22/09/2025: L’imbuto was a truly joyful experience. The wait staff were friendly and clearly having fun presenting the dishes as they got progressively more whimsical (I will not spoil some highlights with pictures). The food was inventive and amazing, particularly the amount of flavor packed into the various sauces. The wine list was extensive. And finally, I got to meet Cristiano Tomei himself, a man who I’ve watched for years on ItaliaSquisita videos. He was just as gregarious and fun in real life. One thing to note is that the restaurant recently relocated to about 10 minutes/3km outside of the city’s walls. It is very easy to find a taxi from Lucca to the restaurant, but not easy at all to find a taxi back. Pre-arrange a return ride.

10/05/2025: A quaint pub. With a wide selection of craft beers. Large sandwiches and fabulous meatballs. Advised!

17/08/2025: Velia is a magical place where the food, wine, and service are excellent, and the traditional dishes hold no secrets for the chef. It's definitely the place where I've eaten the best.

01/04/2025: Beautiful estate, amazing wines, and an all-around fantastic experience. The setting is stunning, and the team was super welcoming and knowledgeable. We also had lunch there, which was delicious—perfectly paired with the wines and served in such a relaxing, scenic atmosphere. We learned a lot, ate well, drank even better, and just had a really great time. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

17/09/2025: The Parrot Bar is a must-see. Perfect for breakfast or an aperitif. The staff is courteous and lively. They have an outdoor area with tables and an indoor area with stools and a counter. The aperitif isn't just chips and peanuts, but also includes schiacciata and cured meats. The opening hours are long, allowing them to accommodate the needs of a wide range of customers. I highly recommend it.
