09/06/2025: Wow — what a wonderful surprise tucked away in a hotel lobby in Florence! We stumbled upon this hidden gem on our last night, and we’re only sorry we didn’t find it sooner. The homemade dishes were absolutely spectacular — rich in flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with love. The husband-and-wife duo running the show were outstanding. He’s the chef, working his magic in the kitchen, while she brings warmth and charm to the front of house. The whole experience felt personal and authentic, like being welcomed into someone’s home for a special meal. If you’re in Florence, don’t miss this place — it’s a true hidden treasure.

09/06/2025: A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Firenze! Ristorante Opera 23 at the Grand Hotel Adriatico is a true hidden gem. Every dish felt like a warm embrace from a Florentine kitchen. The salmon was perfectly cooked, fresh, and full of flavor. The zuppa di verdura was rich and comforting, and the eggplant parmigiana was layered and perfectly balanced, made from a family recipe. To finish, I had the flan with caramel topping, light, silky, and absolutely delicious. The perfect end to a beautiful meal. The owners are local to Firenze, and it shows. Their hospitality and love for tradition shine through in every dish. Quietly tucked inside the hotel, Opera 23 is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Tuscan food in a warm, welcoming setting.

07/06/2025: Good pizza and appetizers, friendly staff, the only flaw was that there were three of us but the third pizza arrived after 20 minutes, they need to coordinate better.

23/04/2025: Daniele is a chef who pays attention to local products, cooks only what is available in season and offers traditional style cuisine but with his personal touch. All the staff are up to the task and contribute to the success of the evening. It really deserves to be known.

The ingredients are varied and fresh, and the staff is friendly and efficient. The restaurant boasts a prime location in Pisa's historic center, making it ideal for a quick bite to eat before heading to the Piazza del Cavaliere for the open-air reading of the Divine Comedy.

07/06/2025: We booked a cooking class with Karin and it was the most unique and beautiful experience. The villa and grounds are stunning rich with history. The pasta we made was incredibly delicious, fresh and organic. We aren’t vegan but enjoy eating vegetarian and this was impeccable.

The receipt was not made when paying in person at the cashier but a non-fiscal receipt was given, we realized it later....
