31/03/2026: Excellent place to get a cozy lunch near Cathedral del Duomo. Many options for vegetarians and the menu reflects the local Toscana specialties. Kitchen is open and sort of noisy, and we had to request plates a couple of time, but otherwise the service was respectful and courteous.

27/03/2026: Osteria Bonelli was easily the highlight of our entire trip in Italy. After traveling through Venice, Rome, and Florence, this spot in Siena took the top prize for us. We stopped in for lunch on a Friday and were surprised it wasn't busier, this place is a total hidden gem that deserves a line out the door. We ordered the lasagna and the yellow squash risotto, the lasagna was perfectly cheesy and rich, while the risotto had an amazing, deep nutty flavor. We paired everything with a local Chianti that was excellent. The atmosphere was awesome, featuring a perfect blend of historic stone walls and cozy, warm lighting. Pricing was very reasonable, if not on the cheaper side, for the experience we had. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making the experience even better. If you are in Siena, do yourself a favor and skip the tourist traps for this place instead. You won’t regret it.

10/05/2026: First time at El Inca, but it certainly won't be the last! I tried the tasting appetizer, rice with seafood, and prawns with avocado, finishing with a passion fruit parfait. Everything was excellent, well-cooked, and perfectly spiced. Generous portions, good wine, a cheerful atmosphere, and a warm welcome. ¡Viva el Perú! 🇵🇪

20/05/2026: The quality is unquestionable, excellent both sweet and savory! The only downside is the counter staff, who are unsympathetic and rude. Sometimes it seems like they're doing you a favor by serving you, especially the girl who's there early in the morning. For example, if you ask for something they don't have on the counter yet but it's ready in the lab, you'll see her huff and puff as if she can barely walk to get it. If I were the owners, I'd revise their staff policies a bit. Otherwise, everything is impeccable.

07/06/2026: This local pizzeria was the perfect find after our late-night flight into Pisa! Even though it was late, the place was open, and the staff welcomed us with super friendly smiles. The pizza itself was absolutely delicious, with a perfect crust and amazing, fresh toppings. It’s definitely a lifesaver for travelers arriving late, and the food is just incredible!

21/04/2026: Some friends took me to this family-run restaurant in Pistoia. Mizio, a great wine connoisseur, recommends the perfect bottle for every dish. He reigns supreme in the dining room, assisted by a young, smiling and kind waitress. The ambiance is refined, the food is varied and flavorful, and the meat is exquisite. The bill is affordable, according to friends. I'll gladly return.

03/05/2026: When restaurants deserve a review, it's only right, and Bixtrot truly deserves it. Quality fish, impeccably cooked with simple recipes. It was a real revelation. They're truly talented.

16/04/2026: I went last night for an end-of-course dinner, but coming from Turin, I obviously wasn't familiar with it. Beautiful, tastefully decorated restaurant, we ate very well. Of course, it was a company dinner, and the menu was pre-ordered, but the dishes were good and delicious. I don't know the cost for each of us, but I think it's within limits. If I ever return, I'll keep it as a reference; I highly recommend it.

16/05/2026: I'd like to share our terrible experience at a place where we've been going for years to eat excellent pizza. Unfortunately, last night we received terrible treatment from the owner. There were nine of us, and we had booked well in advance for 8:00 PM. When we arrived at the pizzeria, they told us our table was occupied and we'd have to wait outside. That alone is questionable. However, we waited patiently. After waiting 25 minutes outside, I asked again, pointing out that we had booked and that it wasn't fair to make us wait outside for half an hour. The owner justified himself by saying that the customers at our table had promised to eat in half an hour, so it wasn't his fault if they were late. I pointed out that the pizzeria should allow at least an hour between servings, which prompted the owner to aggressively yell at me not to let him lose his patience. I didn't understand. Instead of acknowledging his mistake and apologizing, my daughter and I were accused of rudeness. We, who had booked regularly and were simply asked to honor our reservation, made them lose their patience! 🤔😡 Obviously, after that, we went to another pizzeria where we received much better treatment, although, alas, it didn't take much. Highly not recommended.
