13/04/2025: A truly excellent pizzeria! At the suggestion of some friends I decided to go and try it and I must say that it was a really nice discovery. Gourmet pizzas with top-quality and very tasty ingredients. A round of applause also for the desserts which, as well as being beautiful, are very good.

05/11/2024: From Nettuno to Lampedusa, the same care in choosing the ingredients but a little more imagination. Delicious and colorful pizzas, a spectacle for the sight and the taste. Old and new flavors that go well with island life. Excellent value for money, kindness and courtesy in the service. Finally, Mrs. Luciana, the true driving force of the pizzeria who dispenses advice and smiles in abundance.

30/10/2024: Qui siamo al TOP su molti aspetti a partire da un'organizzazione perfetta della fila coi numeri, un bel display e un servizio eccellente che macina in modo cortese e solerte le richieste dei numerosissimi clienti. La pizza è buonissima, digeribilissima e la gestione al taglio offre la possibilità, per me impagabile, di assaggiare più gusti!! Appena ricevuto il proprio tagliere di pizze una efficiente signora completa il servizio con bibite e posto a sedere. Tutto perfetto, persino la toilette che ha una entrata separata dal locale forno. Imperdibile appuntamento col cibo per chi passa da Lampedusa!!!

18/02/2025: Ci siamo arrivati dopo una visita a Possagno per vedere la casa ed il tempio di Antonio Canova. La Trattoria con la T maiuscola. Ottimo ed abbondanti i piatti, la cortesia dei titolari e del personale rende perfetta la pausa. Perfetti i consigli sulla scelta del menù, prezzi molto competitivi. Assolutamente consigliato.

19/02/2025: Great coffee!! Also finally a plantbased milk option (in this case almond) in Sicily that tastes good :) Best frutta matorana we had so far - just delicious!! Service Quality: We visited twice and had completely different experiences. On our first visit, everyone was very friendly and welcoming, making us eager to return. However, on our second visit (yesterday, Sunday), the waitress came across as rude. This makes it difficult to rate the service. That said, the coffee was excellent both times! 😊

26/01/2025: The mignons are excellent and very fresh. The one with ricotta and caramel is recommended. Seating both inside and on the veranda. Very kind staff.

The staff is friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is very welcoming. Every dessert I tried was a real delight. Highly recommended for those who love quality artisan desserts!

The pastries are good, the general atmosphere very pleasant with attentive staff: a pleasure early in the morning. No room to sit, we have breakfast at the counter like real Italians

08/04/2025: This place was a real sleeper find for us. We walked up from downtown Vernazza for breakfast and didn't expect much because of the throwaway utensils and location on the corner near the parking lot. (It turns out, because Il Pirata recently also started carrying groceries, law compelled them to change how they served.) We were wrong to judge this book by its cover. The staff were some of the friendliest restaurant staff we encountered over our entire trip in Italy. Their ricotta-pistachio stuffed croissants and cannoli haunted the rest of our travels, because nothing will compare to the delicious ones they sell here. We came back the next day and lamented every breakfast that wasn't at Il Pirata thereafter. Go visit and eat a pistachio cannoli for me!

28/02/2025: Super nice and friendly staff! The pizza is very good, the pan pizza is definitely worth trying. The farinata is also delicious. We usually get takeaway pizzas and they are always on time!!

29/03/2025: Veramente una bella scoperta, cena ottima, sevizio professionale ma allo stesso tempo i ragazzi erano molto simpatici, carta dei vini completa, il locale è molto accogliente e intimo, sembra di stare a casa, titolare simpatico e super gentile..bravi ragazzi!!

25/03/2025: Ambiente che fin dal primo momento ti mette a tuo agio, un misto tra eleganza e senso di casa. Accoglienza ottima e menu sensazionale. Indiscutibilmente il pezzo forte è il servizio, ovviamente anche la loro deliziosa bistecca alla fiorentina. Camerieri preparati, professionali, gentili e molto disponibili a rispondere a ogni tuo dubbio e creano un ottima atmosfera in sala. Tutto sommato è stata un esperienza meravigliosa torneremo sicuramente! ottimo per coppie ma non solo.

You enter, take your number, and when your turn comes you start choosing both the type of bread and the filling (a huge choice of cured meats, cheeses and vegetables of all kinds). You can also choose whether to have the sandwich heated on the griddle and consumed on the spot (standing, without pretensions, placing the drink on the tables when free). The price varies based on the filling, but with an average cost of around 5-7 euros, you get a sandwich and a drink that fills your stomach abundantly. For those who are in a hurry, given that there is a long queue at peak times, you can get ready-made sandwiches and skip the queue by paying directly at the cash register. However, during peak hours I never waited more than 10 minutes, as you were served by several people at the same time.

17/03/2025: Too bad it's out of town.....something exceptional!!!! Very fresh and quality condiments fill sandwiches of different sizes and always very fresh. Excellent service...a guarantee for years...
