27/06/2025: Yesterday I had the pleasure of dining at Piron dal Re. I was pleasantly surprised by the welcome, the attentive and friendly service, the inviting and genuine dishes, and the quality wines. Definitely a place I recommend to anyone looking for a special place for any occasion!! Well done, really well done!!

30/05/2025: I'll start with the fact that I haven't eaten as well in the center of Rome as I have here, the pizza is amazing, the dough is delicate, crispy, and the ingredients are of the highest quality. It doesn't matter whether the pizza is white or red, each one is delicious. My new discovery is the pizza on white sauce with bacon and potatoes, finger-licking good. A family restaurant run by a lovely owner, open, friendly service and a really warm and nice interior. You can eat real Italian pizza here, whole or in pieces, but also Italian specialties that you won't find anywhere else, and to top it off with an aperol and a successful visit. I recommend it wholeheartedly ♥️

07/06/2025: Delicious Sicilian-style delicacies. The ladies who serve create a great atmosphere :) smiles on their faces, friendly approach to guests. We were very pleased :) For the last few days we have been dropping in for coffee and amazing croissants with ricotta cheese cream and pistachio cream. Through the glass you can see the production process - handmade. It's a rarity :) Best regards

20/07/2025: We made a very successful stop at Il Pizzicotto during our visit to Lecce. It's the perfect place to grab a bite on the go while enjoying a quality pizza. The slices are generous, the dough is excellent—thin, crispy, and well-risen—and the toppings are delicious. The place is simple and unpretentious, but perfectly suited to a quick and tasty meal. Excellent value for money and a great place for pizza lovers in Lecce!

19/07/2025: While strolling through the streets of Lecce in the evening, we stumbled upon Via Delli Ammirati, where we discovered a great pizza concept – pizza by the slice. A list of available flavors and ingredients is posted on the wall, along with the price per kilogram. You can also choose what's in the display case, and the waiters eagerly show you and explain what's freshly made, what's on each pizza, and whether it's more or less spicy. The waiter shows you with scissors where to cut, you tell them whether you want more or less, and the chosen slice goes into the oven. This is great because you can try many varieties, which we did. We ordered the classic Margherita, plus La Bufala, and a pizza with spicy salami. But my favorite was the Romana, which I haven't had in a while – a pizza with potatoes, mozzarella, and rosemary. We ate several delicious pizzas for a reasonable price – something for everyone. You can also order beer from the fridge and house wine. They pour the latter into plastic containers, which I don't like, but the waiter found a solution. He waved to his colleague from the place next door and arranged for me to order a glass of wine there and take it to our table. Inside, there's basically just this display case with the pizzas on display, a work area, and a small counter against the wall where you can eat, but it's so hot inside that we wouldn't have been able to stand it. However, you can sit outside, at small tables or benches with high seats. We really liked it there and, above all, enjoyed it. There are no restrooms – we went to the place next door to wash our hands, where I ordered the wine. But Ił Pizzicotto isn't a restaurant, but a factory that makes delicious pizza by the slice: you go in, choose, eat, and leave. They also have other locations in Lecce – I recommend this one. The place has also been recommended by the Le Routard guide for many years.

10/07/2025: We stayed June 5-6 - the place was beautiful, very well-kept and fresh. The family - the owners of the agriturismo - were very coordinated and precise. We spent a beautiful day and a peaceful night in their house (Campania). We will definitely return.

13/07/2025: Beautifully situated farm with a farm shop. The apple balsamic vinegar is a must! We go there just for that. The beer garden is fantastic, and the snacks are delicious! They have their own vegetable garden (exemplarily planted) and a great place to stroll around. We visit twice a year! And we've already reordered the vinegar online!

L'impasto leggero e ben lievitato ,nonostante la grandezza della pizza,ha fatto sì che la mangiassi tutta,e già questo , è straordinario! Loro carinissimi.. Great professionalism, elegant restaurant, excellent dishes, well presented and excellent raw materials. Our guests were very satisfied and happy, the lunch was more than successful! A special mention for Mrs. Rita who advised us well from the beginning on the choice of menu and organizational details. I repeat, great seriousness and professionalism.
