One of its strengths is undoubtedly the cuisine: the menu changes frequently—even weekly—and always offers original, carefully crafted dishes, with excellent vegetarian and vegan options, generous and flavorful. The staff is young, kind, and truly welcoming, with special attention to everyone. Even on the busiest evenings, they maintain a warm, cheerful service, something rare these days. The option of dining later than average in the area is also greatly appreciated. The space is small but welcoming; if you're with a large group, it's best to reserve a table, especially for the restaurant area. The outdoor seating is lovely on nice days, away from the chaos but still just a stone's throw from the city center. The selection of beers and wines is also good, with fair prices and in line with the quality. In short: a simple yet refined, authentic place with a relaxed and inclusive atmosphere. 20/11/2025: We found this place by chance, but it has turned out to be a true gem for Matera. Everything is carefully thought out, from the decor to the wine list. The food is amazing, with high-quality ingredients expertly prepared and served with great taste. The owner is a perfect host, welcoming you and making you feel at home, always making sure everything is perfect. He's kind and friendly, as is the other older gentleman in the dining room.

18/10/2025: Everything's fine, but comparing Daniele's pizza to Neapolitan pizza gives me the shivers. The only thing Neapolitan about it is the price. The Margherita, a thin crust, barely any mozzarella, and no flavor whatsoever. The wait staff was very friendly, the atmosphere simple, but at one point we had to leave because it was too hot. A good pizzeria if you're on a budget, but please, let's not talk about Neapolitan pizza.

31/10/2025: Great wine, chilled red (rossato), a the female staff was really warm and welcoming and helped me with my wine choice so I came back the next day - some staff are more tolerant of English speakers than others.

19/10/2025: My husband and I stumbled upon this bar by chance, and it ended up being our favorite spot of the whole trip! The vibe was incredible — there was an after-work crowd across the street, every table was full, cars could barely get through — it was chaotic in the best way. We each had a Negroni and then a lager, both great. The atmosphere was so lively and local, and there were even families with kids, so it felt really welcoming. Highly recommend for the amazing ambiance and energy — you won’t regret it!

11/10/2025: I've read is the best ice cream and honestly i was a bit sceptic and thought i'ts just a tourist trap but ice cream is amazing. Could be the best i've ever tried. So creamy. Yumm. Today i tried mango. Will come back tomorrow. Came back and tried lemon and pistachio. Lemon is just perfect in hot day like today.

09/11/2025: A warm, comfortable, and inviting atmosphere. A cozy fireplace, top-notch bruschetta, and incredibly friendly staff...what more could you ask for? My husband and I spent a lovely evening here, finally eating a proper bruschetta...a rare find, I'd say. They have two types of bread: one made with Timilia flour, an ancient Sicilian grain, and one made with Type 1 durum wheat. Truly excellent bruschetta, and the staff are friendly, cheerful, and professional. The space isn't very large, so reservations are a must. Kudos to the entire staff.

03/10/2025: We went back to this place two days in a row and honestly wished we had made it three in a row. We had caprese, carbonara, saltimboca the first night and then margherita pizza, fettucine with ragu, tiramisu and chocolate pannacotta the second. The staff was SO warm and friendly and even recognized us the second night and found us a table quickly even though they were quite busy. This place is the definition of italian hospitality. Thank you so much and hope we can meet again ❤️

03/10/2025: The food is exceptionally delicious. Service is good. Prices are in line with Roman standards. Located just a few minutes' walk from St. Peter's Basilica, the osteria is ideal for a post-work break with cold drinks and delicious snacks and dishes.

08/12/2025: We were in the center of Grosseto and wanted to try the Arlekkino gelateria. The gelato was definitely high-quality, very good, and had a wide selection of flavors. We also saw that they had cannoli filled on the spot. Since we were there during the Christmas period, they also had their own panettone. They have a few tables inside where you can enjoy your meal. Prices are reasonable, and the staff are friendly. We'll definitely be back.
