06/07/2025: Very good ice cream, modern and very welcoming place with many special ice cream flavors. The embarrassment of choice is very high! The names of the ice creams are very cute. They also provide bottles of water (a lifesaver for us as tourists). Ice cream also suitable for vegans. Good quality/price ratio. A few meters further on you will also find their pastry shop, excellent for breakfast.

20/06/2025: A wonderful place to stop and linger! We didn't have a reservation, but we were seated immediately with a friendly reminder of the remaining time for our meal. The staff were so friendly and attentive – wonderful! And the food was perfect! Thank you for a wonderful evening in this beautiful garden! Of course, I also took a look inside the inn – so quaint, cozy, and inviting, absolutely wonderful!

27/06/2025: Avevamo prenotato per il compleanno di mio marito. Mia figlia di soli tre anni come tutti i bambini aveva qualche piccio per la testa e la titolare o colei che si occupa dei tavoli ci ha invitato chiaramente a cambiare locacion. Da premettere che mia figlia non sarà stata una santa ma potevano venirci incontro senza metterci in imbarazzo invitandoci chiaramente ad andare. Quindi sconsiglio alle famiglie. Alla fine abbiamo mangiato altrove ed anche bene. Di sicuro non tornerò. Anche perché bastava dire fatevi un giro, se si calma ci rivediamo tra 15 minuti al massimo poi diamo via il tavolo .Anche io lavoro al pubblico e una situazione del genere l avrei gestita diversamente . Ma vabbé evidentemente non tutti hanno pazienza con i bambini

26/06/2025: Beautiful place right on the top of a hill where you can see the sea and mountains.. the place is ideal for parties and banquets and small ceremonies.. the food is normal, but it's ok for the situation 🙂👍

05/06/2025: Once upon a time in the Alto Vergante there were many clubs with traditional cuisine, rustic wines, popular prices and clientele. The Gatto Blu club in Fosseno has transformed into a restaurant, but bringing with it the culinary tradition of the club, such as braised donkey with polenta, risotto with Mottarone mountain cheeses. Then the addition of Mediterranean cuisine, excellent pasta with sardines Messina style, fish caught from Lake Maggiore, and the lightness of the vegetables from the restaurant's large organic garden, marinated in Japanese style, have created a restaurant where, after years of frequenting, it still manages to surprise me. The young couple, Gianluca the Chef, and Valentina his wife, the dining room manager, know how to accompany the customers' gastronomic research with a smile and professionalism. Staff always kind and efficient. The location is the historic one of the club, in a stone house, and a terrace, where you can eat in the cool of the 650 meters of altitude of Fosseno, which overlooks the other stone houses of the village. The price is no longer that of the club, but the quality-price ratio is excellent. 5 stars deserved. Ennio

31/05/2025: Auf der Suche nach einem traditionellen Restaurant , fernab vom See und Trubel, sind wir aufgrund der Bewertungen hier her . Und nicht enttäuscht worden. Sehr freundlicher Service und sehr gute italienische Gerichte. Es empfiehlt sich manche Gerichte zu teilen um mehreres probieren zu können. Wir waren rechtzeitig im Ort und haben erst den phantastischen Blick auf den See genossen. Auch wir empfehlen nicht mit großem Auto in die engen Gassen zu fahren. Parkt am Besten am Piazzq Sant‘ Agata. Restaurant ist nur 200 m zu Fuß .

13/06/2025: Pizza Buonissima, we couldn't finish them because they were a bit full but they kindly offered us a box to take it home. Highly recommended the supplì alla nduja, the breading is really excellent, crispy and not greasy, and the seasoning is very tasty. Quality raw materials and excellent value for money. The service is really fast and excellent, all the waiters are helpful and really friendly. The place is very simple, outdoor tables are perfect for enjoying a summer dinner in a cool place.

08/07/2025: Tried the mango gelato and cookie gelato, they both tasted really good! And especially the mango, had a very accurate alphonso mango flavour which can be hard to do well. Would come back again :)

07/07/2025: 100% vegan (dairy and egg free) ice cream parlor, with an amazing selection, with a variety of servings. I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone, whether you are vegan, dairy sensitive, or just want to eat a good ice cream.

12/06/2025: The staff was friendly, the line moved quickly, and I was able to place my order without much waiting. I went with two scoops: pistachio and tiramisu. The pistachio was excellent—rich, nutty, and exactly what I was hoping for. The tiramisu, on the other hand, really wasn’t to my taste, which surprised me since I’m usually a big fan of the dessert itself. While I could definitely taste the quality of the ingredients, the flavor just didn’t hit the mark for me. Still, that’s more a matter of personal preference than anything else. Overall, it’s a solid spot and absolutely worth trying—who knows, you might find your perfect flavor.
