08/05/2026: Beautifully restored restaurant but quiet atmosphere in early May. Great views, wonderful side garden, good service, reasonably priced local wines. Personal view so dont let it put you off, as this is an attempt at innovative fine dining - chef-ified and de-rusticated. Calabria...but food didn't really do it for us. Pasta itself good... but soggy ravioli (split or intentional? unsure) and powdered mint spinkled artichoke pasta creation mainly lemon flavoured. Both veal and lamb rib chops seemed slow cooked...odd choice for these cuts rendering a grey meat albeit with intense sauces to restore. Prefer de-chef-ified re-rusticated Calabria.

25/04/2026: Typical Civita cuisine revisited in the style of Chef Gregorio Buccolieri, a welcoming atmosphere, a beautiful garden area with outdoor dining options, and friendly and professional staff. Excellent service and a good wine list, the cuisine is delicate and tasty. The meatballs with creamed carrots are delicious. Homemade leavened and baked goods are also available. The menu changes with the seasons and the carefully selected ingredients. Good value, reservations recommended.

11/07/2026: A truly excellent experience! I had a brioche with pistachio, dark chocolate, and almond gelato: a simply delicious combination. The brioche was soft and fresh, while the gelato was creamy, rich in flavor, and made with quality ingredients. The staff were friendly and the service impeccable. I will definitely be back and recommend it to everyone!

19/07/2026: We were recommended this restaurant in the historic center of Tropea. Perfect for those who like to escape the hustle and bustle of the town. It's located in the entrance hall of an old building and is a very welcoming, quiet, and charming place. We arrived around 10:00 PM and within an hour we had finished our meal. The service was super fast, and the staff were always available, friendly, and always smiling. As for the food, what can I say... excellent. The typical local onion fritters are highly recommended. Overall, everything was very good and tasty. We thank all the wait staff and the owner Giancarlo for his excellent and pleasant hospitality. We had a wonderful time, thank you again! 14/07/2026: An exhilarating immersion in nature. After a delicious lunch featuring farm produce at a more than fair price, Danilo and Emanuele took us on a rafting adventure along the river. Five stars aren't enough to describe the excitement and wonder we experienced on this magical afternoon. An extraordinary landscape of trees, waterfalls, springs, and gorges, enhanced by the kindness and warmth of Danilo and Emanuele, who taught us, accompanied us, and, last but not least, reassured my 9-year-old son. Thanks to this precious family who makes our Italy more beautiful.

13/07/2026: We found it by chance and stopped for a quick lunch. It's a beautiful place surrounded by greenery. We were the only ones there, and the very kind lady cooked us delicious freshly made pasta with anduia sauce. The mixed antipasto was excellent and plentiful. The house wine was delicious.

We ordered the Apericena mari e monti (sea and mountain aperitif), where every bite (a generous amount, I'd say) was truly excellent, from fish to meat. It was accompanied by a gin and tonic, featuring a selection of gins and tonics that are not at all easy or predictable to find elsewhere—DELIGHTFUL. The background music and atmosphere of the place made you truly appreciate the moment. The icing on the cake? Valeria, who delighted us with impeccable and friendly service, truly makes all the difference for an evening of fun and relaxation. Thank you! We will definitely be back.
