The property is very characteristic and well-maintained. The lighting at night is truly delightful.
The staff was excellent, kind, and helpful.
The complimentary gift of homemade honey was greatly appreciated.
18/12/2025: We had the pleasure of discovering Piana dei Mulini, a charming place surrounded by greenery. This old mill, expertly renovated and converted into a hotel and restaurant near Sepino, offers a warm welcome and high-quality, well-stocked food for both lunch and dinner. The wine list is excellent. Breakfast was excellent, with homemade cakes and jams. The rooms are beautifully renovated, warm, and clean. The staff is friendly and professional. We will definitely return, especially to explore this area of Molise, so worthwhile for its history, nature, and tranquility.

05/04/2026: I'd heard about it and booked for Easter. I was informed that there would be a fixed menu, featuring fish.
A warm welcome from the very friendly Peppe, who makes you feel at ease and even recommends wines from a well-stocked and high-quality cellar. Excellent menu, quality food prepared with skill and expertise.
We will definitely return to try the à la carte menu.
08/03/2026: Truly a surprising place! You'd probably imagine finding such cuisine and high-quality seafood more along the coast. Yet, in the heart of Molise's hinterland, Mr. Peppe, with his humility and immense culinary artistry, delights us with unique and authentic dishes.
Taste, quality, flavors, presentation, and a very welcoming location make this place a must-see in the heart of Isernia.
10 out of 10!
I can't wait to return.

18/01/2026: The choice of restaurants in a village is excellent. The location and hospitality are remarkable. The "brodetto" (Spanish mussels, and a tasteless, poorly prepared broth) was very poor, the reason and request for our visit. The coming and going of waiters with wines, drinks, cakes, coats, etc. needs to be reviewed. Cian's history is not up for discussion, but the individual experience is.

The menu offers a decent variety of dishes; the grilled meat dishes are a highlight; the first courses are also very good, with some Roman influences (carbonara, pasta alla gricia). Choose from three desserts, including one cream dessert (the tiramisu was only decent). Impeccable service, and the bill was well-priced for the quality/quantity. A pleasant musical soundtrack provides the backdrop to an excellent dinner.

08/02/2026: Discovered by chance, the four of us went for Sunday lunch, and what can I say... kudos to the kitchen. Excellent food, from the fettuccine with sausage, truffle, and porcini mushrooms, to the main courses, to the house tiramisu, everything was perfect. The place is small, new, and welcoming (we recommend booking). Service was a bit slow, with a few glitches, but otherwise, nothing to complain about; we'll be back.

I understand it was Saturday night and there were people... but they should organize themselves better. However, the pizza is one of the best in CB and I recommend it. Sorry about the wait...
