23/03/2026: I'd been meaning to dine at this historic restaurant for a while, and the opportunity came during a visit to the splendid Basaglia exhibition in Gorizia. Like all interesting places, it's not easy to get to, but once you arrive, it offers all the beauty and goodness you've been looking for. Traditional dishes are expertly prepared, sometimes with a sublime twist. There's an excellent selection of wines by the glass (I think the most extensive I've ever seen in a restaurant), as well as beers and, for those who still have some, spirits, as if there were no tomorrow, as if there were no tortuous road back (you can, however, stay there). The staff is very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. A highly recommended experience.

07/02/2026: Located in a secluded but easily accessible location. Good quality cuisine featuring regional products with a modern twist, and especially for local wines, a well-stocked cellar. Service is competent and discreet. Prices aren't quite like an inn. Nice dining room, but nothing memorable. Excellent cleanliness, easy parking inside the building. Perhaps our very high expectations have led me to give it 4 stars rather than 5, but it's always a matter of personal taste.

07/12/2025: Last night, we went here for the first time for pizza after seeing the ad on social media. What can I say?! Fantastic experience! Matteo welcomed us with a smile and was very friendly and professional. As we spoke, he conveyed his passion and made us feel at home even though we aren't Sardinian. I wanted a parmigiana pizza, while my boyfriend had an off-menu pizza with antunna, ricotta mustia, and bacon. Both were made with regular dough, although there were other toppings available. Both were excellent and very tasty. The dessert Matteo offered us at the end was also excellent. We will definitely be back, both for the delicious pizzas and for the warm welcome we received. Thanks for everything, we'll see you soon!

29/03/2026: Exceptional. We tried the classic tasting menu and it was truly extraordinary: each dish was an explosion of flavors, taking us on a true journey through the Carnic region. An authentic experience and highly recommended. The wine tasting was also very interesting and thoughtful, with unconventional choices perfectly paired with the dishes, bringing out every nuance. Finally, the service was impeccable: the staff were professional, attentive, and exceptionally kind. One detail we greatly appreciated was the attention given to our dog, for whom a small bowl of homemade meat kibble was prepared, along with water. A truly worthwhile experience.

09/04/2026: We returned to this magnificent restaurant for the second time, and once again, the experience was simply splendid. We chose the seafood tasting menu, consisting of four courses paired with glasses selected by the chef: a true culinary journey, thoughtful and harmonious, capable of surprising from start to finish. Among the dishes, the raw seafood appetizer was unforgettable: tuna and salmon carpaccio, oysters, shrimp, scampi, and caviar... a generous selection, enhanced by an excellent champagne, truly thrilling. The vanilla ice cream with salt, pepper, and oil was also surprising, paired with an exquisite passito wine: an original and perfectly executed combination. Special praise goes to the chef, also a sommelier, who paired each course with great skill and sensitivity: a fragrant and fruity New Zealand white wine was memorable. The service was impeccable: the staff were knowledgeable, attentive, and of rare kindness. We felt truly pampered throughout the evening. A restaurant we recommend without hesitation for special occasions, where quality, elegance, and hospitality meet in an excellent way.

30/03/2026: The gelato isn't too sweet and is so delicious. I was debating whether or not to buy it, but I hesitated for nothing. I ordered strawberry, coconut, and pistachio, and all three are distinctly tasty. The strawberry flavor, in particular, isn't too sweet and has a tangy kick, which is totally my style. It seems perfect as a dessert after a meal.

08/01/2026: I went to L'Oste d'Arberia a few days ago for lunch with friends. Calling it a restaurant is an understatement: the attention the entire staff showed us, from the welcome to the tour of the entire establishment, was something that went beyond the food. The menu follows seasonality, and each dish, conceived and presented with passion, expresses the local area in which this establishment is immersed. It goes without saying, of course, that everything was excellent. I will absolutely return.

11/04/2026: A truly positive experience! The service was incredibly fast and friendly, and throughout the evening I was impressed by the professionalism of the wait staff, not only through their interactions with our own tables but also with those at other tables. The dishes offered were all better than the last: starting with the appetizers, my partner and I had fried "fake calamari" (mushroom-based, but practically indistinguishable from the taste of real calamari, thanks to a delicious, crunchy, and light breading) and a cashew burratina. We then moved on to an amazing vegan carbonara and a vegan lamb en croute (delicious, super flavorful, and with the perfect texture). We finished with some amazing vegan cheeses: blue cheese, brie, and ricotta, our three favorites! I should also add that I approached this dinner with active and lively gastritis, and for the first time in weeks, I was able to eat my fill without experiencing the classic symptoms of digestive difficulty. The excellent quality of the ingredients is evident, and the chef uses them to the fullest, enhancing them and creating light yet incredibly flavorful dishes. Finally, the bill was absolutely reasonable for the more than satisfactory quality and quantity. As I told the chef at the end of the evening, they'll see us again!

23/02/2026: A restaurant I knew about but hadn't tried yet. Recommended by a dear friend, it was love at first sight. The owner is legendary. The informal atmosphere is relaxing, the food is excellent, and they pay special attention to various intolerances. It was me and a friend of mine; he has gluten and lactose intolerance, and I'm vegan. The menu, rich in dishes, features a variety of unique tastes and flavors. The wines are excellent! The entree amazed me, and from there, an explosion of flavors and colors. Onigiri, soups, gyoza, rice burgers, and delicious desserts. AMBIENCE ***** stars FOOD ***** stars STAFF ******** stars PRICE ******** stars What can I say? It's unique, and now I'll definitely have to come back to try everything else!!! Highly recommended for those with intolerances. Rich menus that take you on a journey around the world, with a national twist. MUST TRY!!!! And come back!

03/03/2026: A simple restaurant, with workers on their lunch break at the other tables, and the menu written on two chalkboards hanging on the wall. The lady who seats us is very kind and attentive. We order a portion of tagliatelle, cardoncello mushroom, guanciale, and pecorino cheese, and a portion of bavette with mullet ragù and bottarga. The wait is short, and the portions are generous. The dishes are very well-seasoned and flavorful. The bill is moderately low. Worth considering when in the area.

18/12/2025: Unmissable! At one point, a fellow diner asks if Cannavacciuolo is hiding in the kitchen. The €40 fish menu is delicious! Highly recommended, in fact, mandatory.
