29/05/2025: Gianluca’s was incredibly welcoming and the whole experiance was wonderful. The food was excellent! It felt like being welcomed into the family. Truly wonderful people here, Vacherie should not be missed. I will be going out of my way to return here again!

24/05/2025: Una vecchia baita con due splendidi camini e un meraviglioso giardino con braceri che rendono un’atmosfera magica. La trota di Morgex era ottima. Gianluca maestro dì ospitalità. Se cercate la formalità…… beh avete sbagliato posto! Qui si respira un’aria autentica, sapore di montagna con quei tocchi di ecletticita’ e poesia che ti fanno sentire tra amici , quelli veri , una porta aperta ad una serata in compagnia di un buon calice e cibo sincero.

11/06/2025: We had a nice walk, the area near the refuge is very beautiful and well-kept. I can't say anything about the refuge itself as it hadn't opened for the season when we were there.

31/05/2025: Professional and competent owners. We had our wedding reception there and they were wonderful. Great location and food appreciated by all the guests. I can't comment on the rooms because I haven't visited them.

12/06/2025: Here is the English translation: --- We came based on a recommendation from our hotel. The place looked nice, the menu was only in Italian, and the waitress spoke very poor English. A dish we didn’t order arrived, and we thought she had made a mistake. We decided to let it go and eat the dish that came instead of the one we had ordered. Later, she arrived with the dish we had ordered. We explained what had happened, and she left the second dish with us, saying that the one we hadn’t ordered would be on the house. Most of the food was nice. However, when it came time to pay, the owner said that since we had eaten everything, we had to pay for everything — and that the waitress had made a mistake in what she told us.

01/06/2025: We went to the Restaurant yesterday the First Time and really really enjoyed it. They recommended is a very nice Local wine and the Food was Great. Happy to Return!

26/04/2025: €40 for two takeaway pizzas. Terrible, a piece of salt, kept up all night with nausea. Place ok only if you are non-EU.

08/07/2025: Stopped for a coffee and a hot chocolate. No complaints. Had apple strudel which was nicely warmed through. There is water from the sink in the toilet… it uses a sensor, but you don’t too much of a flow… Nice break. Can sit in or out. Outside also has a cover if raining..

22/05/2025: What an experience...a road trip with my family and my little ones aged 4 and 10 months. It's as if time had stopped at Peppe's...graniglia floors, ancient and traditional flavours, dated wooden chairs...but on the first of May there were 200 people with very fast service and an inebriating smell of roasted meat...and then those fettuccine with porcini mushrooms and truffles!!! If you're on the road, perhaps to go and see the bears of Campoli, the stop is a must and you will be satisfied. On sunny days, there is the scent of grass and nature all around, the modest prices and the 92 year old grandpa!!! who cooks up to 40 sausages at the same time!! Cool!
