02/06/2026: Dinner after a reservation Beautiful, bright, and individually decorated restaurant. Lovely display of succulents. We ate very well. Dishes were carefully prepared and beautifully presented. Excellent selection of homemade bread. Delicious meat. The pie with local onions was excellent. Attentive and courteous service. We'll be back!!

19/05/2026: I returned after a year. The food was still very good. I was disappointed by the somewhat slow service, and the fact that there were four diners eating the same dishes made it difficult for them to arrive at the same time. I found the price for two bottles of water and one of house wine a bit excessive. If I were to return, I'd reconsider.

26/04/2026: After our pilgrimage in Assisi, we went here for lunch. The staff was exceptionally kind, welcoming us warmly and helpfully (almost like volunteers, with all the heart they put into it!). The torta al testo was simply delicious, fragrant, and rich in flavor. We also tried the San Francesco (or local) craft beer: truly strong and full of character, perfect for those who love bold flavors. A place I highly recommend to all pilgrims! Thank you so much, Alessandro and Luisa, you were special.

24/04/2026: During a trip to Assisi with the Diocese of Rome, I went here to get an exceptional—I can now say—sandwich with wild boar ham and olive oil. Simple, good, exactly what I was looking for. A little pricey, perhaps, but there aren't even any supermarkets here in Assisi, so it's not surprising. My friends were able to wait outside without getting impatient; in fact, in no time, my sandwich was ready to be enjoyed. Excellent, highly recommended!!!

15/06/2026: Excellent Agriturismo, spacious rooms with an optional annex. Excellent location overlooking the plains east of Assisi. I highly recommend it, especially for its very quiet location.

02/06/2026: As my partner and I strolled through the streets of Assisi, following our route from one church to the next, we were literally drawn in by the aromas wafting from the kitchens of this little restaurant. It didn't take long to convince us: we booked, and a couple of hours later, we were seated. In our opinion, it was the best culinary experience we've had in the Assisi-Perugia area. The homemade pasta was exceptionally good: the strangozzi alla norcina was truly memorable, and the pesto in my partner's pasta was truly exceptional. Everything was made with top-quality ingredients, and you could taste it! Not to mention the guinea fowl cooked in a pot, the frittatina with local vegetables, etc. This restaurant is proof that even in a place like Assisi that easily risks becoming too touristy, there are still places capable of giving you the true flavor of tradition. The only downside? ...which isn't near Rome... otherwise we'd return much more often :-) Highly recommended!

17/05/2026: The food was delicious! The chef and owner is very friendly and gave us a complimentary appetizer he had prepared especially for us. There were five of us, and all the dishes were very tasty. Plus, everyone was very attentive.

10/06/2026: Not only is it a truly delightful place in the splendid setting of Santa Maria degli Angeli, but it also offers entirely artisanal cuisine with simply extraordinary traditional Umbrian flavors. The service is also excellent.

05/07/2026: A small, very charming restaurant with exceptionally friendly service! We had the octopus with pea sauce and burrata – simply fantastic, as were the wild boar ragout and the ravioli (homemade, of course). We were thrilled and highly recommend this restaurant!

29/06/2026: We dined here on a Friday evening in June. Although the restaurant is close to Assisi's main square, its secluded location on a side street allows for outdoor dining in a quiet, intimate atmosphere, away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist crowds. The dishes we ordered (risotto, stew, and pasta with zucchini and tomatoes) were tasty and served in reasonable portions. The bill was in line with the quality of the ingredients, and probably even lower than other nearby restaurants.

05/06/2026: Since I had the chance to discover this magical place, I've returned regularly. Each time, it's a true escape from time: a total immersion in an ocean of unspoiled nature. Whether I go to relax, go on magnificent hikes, simply savor the peace and beauty of Monte Subasio, or even for a digital detox, a profound meditation retreat, or to participate in Self-Awareness Yoga classes, the experience is always exceptional. Between the delicious cuisine prepared with local products, the warm welcome from the entire team, and the comfortable rooms, everything is in place for a stay that leaves you feeling refreshed, inspired, and grateful. In short: I highly recommend it! :)

17/05/2026: The strangozzi alla norcina, with cream, sausage, and truffle, were topped with a generous amount of cream, two tiny pieces of sausage, and a sprinkling of truffle. We were extremely disappointed. The portions were small and the prices high, not fully justified by the location. I give it an average rating for the friendly service and the homely atmosphere. It's a real shame to make such a fool of yourself over just a few grams of food or seasoning.

30/06/2026: We stopped here for lunch on the way to our Assisi visit and it turned out to be a really good call🥳 We ordered the recommended dishes family-style, one each where we could, so everyone got to try a proper spread of the local Umbrian food. We really enjoyed Il Properzio as the starter platter, especially the bruschette, truffle croquette, Norcia ham and cheeses. The cipolline in agrodolce, the sweet and sour onions, were excellent too. For pasta, the Tortelloni farciti con faraona arrosto with Norcia truffle was rich and very good, and the Pappardelle al ragù speziato di cinghiale e crema di funghi porcini was a highlight. Very hearty, full of flavour, and exactly the kind of dish you want in Umbria. For mains, the Medaglioni di filetto di vitello con tartufo di Norcia was tender and nicely done, the Costine di agnello scottadito alla griglia were very tasty, and the Filetto di baccalà dissalato was also surprisingly good. Even the insalata mista had a nice vinaigrette, which sounds simple but made a difference. Overall, good food, friendly service, and a very worthwhile lunch stop before heading up to Assisi. Glad we came❤️🥰
