31/03/2026: I have been coming to this characteristic restaurant for almost 30 years.

15/03/2026: I went to this restaurant a few days ago for lunch. The place is very nice, although a bit small, and the noise from the various diners obviously echoes, making it a bit annoying. I found the food very salty, and the vegetables I asked for sautéed were not only very salty but completely tasteless, with no oil, garlic, or chili pepper; all you could taste was the salt. Lastly, a word of caution about what they call torta al testo, which isn't actually torta al testo because it's simply a standard white pizza with toppings. I say this with full knowledge of the facts, as I've been making torta al testo at home for many years (I'm a longtime Perugian), and I can assure you that a real torta al testo is something completely different, especially because it's not a leavened dough like a pizza... Of course, everyone can do what they want in their own restaurant, but they should at least give it a different name! I suggest: pizza Otello or pizza dello chef.

02/05/2026: In the heart of Assisi, Osteria Santu Mangione was a wonderful discovery. The appetizer was excellent, showcasing the quality of the local produce, while the first course, the strangozzi with truffles, was truly delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful, and a special thanks to Paolo, who was warm and welcoming. The atmosphere was pleasant!

26/04/2026: Terrible service and hospitality. Minimum spend of €15 per person excluding drinks, and a minimum debit card payment requirement of €35, both illegal and shameful.

Each course exudes authenticity and tradition, with a flavor that immediately transports you to the region's culinary culture. The staff is always friendly and helpful, ready to explain each dish and suggest wine or cheese pairings, making the experience even more enjoyable. In short, Le Delizie del Subasio is the perfect place if you want to savor authentic Umbrian cuisine in a family-friendly and genuine setting. 28/04/2026: Family owned. Atmosphere is family stile cozy. Very nice service, food is pretty good, house wine excellent and pretty affordable. Definitely recommended.

26/04/2026: We went for dinner tonight. The atmosphere is charming and quaint, but the food and service left much to be desired. The stew was cold and the bread was stale. The young woman who served us didn't even bother to say hello; the other two ladies in the dining room were friendly.
