26/03/2024: Excellent beers and so is the food, which however I found in general to be a little expensive. Nice service. When I was there it was St. Patrick's Day and they had Guinness, but they don't know how to tap it and it was too cold.

06/09/2023: Livia empfängt ihre Gäste mit Herz und Temperament. Die liebevoll eingerichteten und typischen Appartements laden zum Verweilen ein, die gepflegte Anlage verbreitet einen idyllischen Charakter mit Suchtfaktor: wir kommen wieder. An jedem Morgen wird man gefragt, wie man geschlafen hat und was man plant. Livia und Enzo lassen ihre Gäste Teil ihrer Familie sein und umsorgen sie mit herzlicher Fürsorge. Das Abendessen ist genial und lecker, Livia serviert persönlich die Köstlichkeiten am Tisch und versichert sich stets, ob das Essen passt und schmeckt. Sonderwünsche werden gerne berücksichtigt. Alles in allem: Italienfreunde sind hier goldrichtig. Mille grazie, Livia ed Enzo. PS: der hausgemachte Alloro/Lorbeerschnaps ist ein Gedicht! Die Anfahrt ist abenteuerlich, ist aber jeder Mühe wert.
04/09/2023: Per 5 giorni ci siamo ritornati per il terzo anno consecutivo, sempre a fine agosto: la mia famiglia e, questa volta, anche quella di mia sorella (in autunno, su nostro consiglio, vi aveva felicemente soggiornato pure un'altra mia parente). Noi abbiamo alloggiato nell'appartamento "Lucia" come d'abitudine, l'altra famiglia in quello denominato "Maddalena", due unità abitative molto caratteristiche e confortevoli. Abbiamo poi sempre usufruito della cena e della prima colazione (ottime!), un pomeriggio anche della piscina (ben tenuta). L'Umbria è meravigliosa, Assisi non da meno e l'Oasi Battifoglia giace in un contesto ameno e meraviglioso; ma il vero motivo per cui ci torniamo è la sincera (e rara) ospitalità/accoglienza, impreziosita di vera umanità, dei coniugi Livia ed Enzo: due straordinarie e genuine persone che, anche grazie alla loro lunga esperienza nel settore, ti regalano un soggiorno indimenticabile e personalizzato, accompagnato da splendide conversazioni. Tant'è vero che quando sei in partenza, e percorri la strada sterrata che collega l'agriturismo alla SR444, hai già nostalgia e decidi che prima o poi ci ritornerai. E così è successo anche questa volta.

28/08/2023: In una struttura così bella come Valle d'Assisi ci si aspetterebbe un ristorante all'altezza. Invece purtroppo il cibo non è nulla di che (anzi..), i prezzi sono alti (ma questo ci stava) e il personale é veramente scortese e sembra sempre scocciato (direttrice inclusa).

26/10/2023: Perché ci vai? Ma soprattutto perché ci torni? Scoperto alcuni anni fa per caso, il chiosco vamos per me è una tappa fissa tutte le volte che torno ad Assisi ed ho voglia di mangiare bene, rilassarmi al fresco e scambiare quattro chiacchiere in allegria. Cominciamo col dire che Mario e la sua famiglia sono di un calore, simpatia e gentilezza unici. Il posto è incantevole, un piccolo e ben curato boschetto nel cuore di Assisi a due passi dalla Basilica. E poi vogliamo parlare degli ingredienti? Mario è un maniaco della qualità, sempre alla ricerca delle materie prime migliori, un perfezionista del gusto e degli abbinamenti e ci tiene, se interessato come me, a descriverne le caratteristiche. Le pitte cosentine preparate giornalmente hanno il profumo delle cose buone fatte come un tempo, con sapienza e attenzione ancora una volta maniacali. Questa, amici miei, è passione e non semplice ristorazione.
19/10/2023: Ottimi panini e birra alla spina, si è pranzato al volo in un ambito magico, circondati da alberi secolari, gestore disponibile e simpatico.

07/04/2024: The location of the hotel is excellent, located between Santa Maria degli Angeli and Assisi, which can also be reached on foot, with a nice walk, or by bus. It also has a large free car park for those who prefer to travel by car. The rooms are functional and clean, but not very comfortable due to the very hard mattresses. The hotel's strong points are certainly the value for money and the restaurant, which offers a vast choice of excellent and plentiful typical Umbrian dishes. For those who are not looking for luxurious and/or modern facilities, but are instead looking for a reliable support to visit Umbria at affordable prices, this place is ideal. Last but not least there is also a swimming pool accessible during the summer period.

18/03/2024: I went once for dinner because there was karaoke night. I ate a typical mixed fried dish recommended for 2 people but it wasn't enough for one person. It wasn't that great. Furthermore, there was one of those strange little pizzas that they make. with the parmesan on top which smelled and was inedible then a portion of cold fried zeppole you don't know when it's finally a short of bitter barely from the fridge which costs €3 quality price really disproportionate I spent 60 euros for 2/3 fried foods eaten for hungry (except for the pizza which really made me vomit) and 4 rounds of shortini x 2

05/04/2024: We loved it! Fresh homemade ice cream. All the flavors were delicious! There is homemade whipped cream from local milk and the 'Pan di stelle' ice cream is very delicious.
01/04/2024: We had read online that they had vegan options. We arrive fasting at 10 with two children and the place is still closed. Shortly afterwards the owner arrives to open the door and we ask her to confirm that she has vegan options for breakfast and she confirms by listing desserts, pancakes, etc...
We give her time to open calmly and return after 10 minutes. We enter, we sit down and the waiter arrives and we ask what the vegan options are and he tells us that there are none. We reply that the owner told us the opposite shortly before. Then he brings us a menu of lactose-free and gluten-free options. Please note that we are asking for something vegan and that lactose-free or gluten-free are different things. He appears very confused on the subject, goes to ask the owner and comes back saying that they have nothing vegan! It's a shame that their menu explicitly says "vegan desserts" and she herself listed pancakes and desserts shortly before. We leave saddened and with disappointed and crying children!
Not recommended!!!

18/02/2024: Questa sera abbiamo ordinato il panino"BURROSO e MAIONESE AL BASILICO"ma al suo interno abbiamo trovato ilposto della BURRATA una SEMPLICEMOZZARELLA E UNA SEMPLICEMAIONESE. Lo abbiamo fatto notarealla cameriera e ci ha fatto "spallucce".Lo abbiamo fatto notare alla ragazza incassa e la sua risposta è stata:" losappiamo, siamo CONSAPOVOLI maseguiamo le direttive dei titolari.
VENDERE UNA COSA PER UN ALTA.

Ristorante Osteria il Cenacolo Francescano

08/08/2023: Non capisco e non condivido le recensioni sul ristorante, benchè datate. Sono stato per due sere a cena qui con la mia famiglia, ospiti dell'albergo "gemello" Casa Leonori.
In camera abbiamo trovato il menù con i prezzi anche se rispetto al menù del ristorante c'erano un paio di piatti di differenza, ma poco male.
Personale simpatico, disponibile e molto competente.
Location fantastica, abbiamo mangiato all'aperto sotto il porticato in un atmosfera fresca, comoda e molto rilassante, curata e pulita.
Il servizio al tavolo è stato abbastanza veloce, figlio comunque del fatto che la sala avesse diversi ospiti ed un gruppo che alloggiava nella struttura.
I piatti serviti sono apparsi da subito ben curati, ricercati sì ma poco complicati e soprattutto veramente veramente buoni con le porzioni sostanziose.
Consiglio di prendere massimo due piatti (antipasto - primo, antipasto - secondo, primo - secondo) perchè oltre non si riesce ad andare nonostante una giornata intera in giro per Assisi a consumare calorie ed energie!
Strozzapreti alla norcina eccellenti, cacio e pepe amalgamata benissimo, maiale in agrodolce sublime, tagliata cotta al punto giusto, bacio affogato al cioccolato fondente una scoperta magnifica!
Prezzi onestissimi anzi, probabilmente rispetto alla qualità e quantità dei piatti sono anche economici. Un gran punto di forza per me.
Complimenti anche per la colazione servita al piano di sopra open space, che come scritto nella recensione dell'albergo casa leonori, sei sazio solo a guardare i dolci e i salati proposti e nel modo in cui sono presentati i tavoli.

24/07/2023: Ci siamo trovati qui, in quanto eravamo in visita a s.maria in porzuncolo. Abbiamo avuto subito una bella accoglienza e la signora che era al banco ci ha descritto le pietanze. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene. Sicuramente ci ritorneremo e lo consiglio altamente
