01/04/2024: Abbiamo pranzato in famiglia in questo locale molto bello, su una terrazza panoramica e scenografica, locale giustamente molto affollato, vista l’ora e il periodo, ed è andato tutto molto bene.piatti molto buoni, porzioni abbondanti, ben presentati e personale cordiale.prezzo corretto, anzi direi ottimo!abbiamo mangiato una tagliata con cicoria, tortelloni di faraona con zucca porri e tartufo, strangozzi con salsiccia, una rocciata e una sfogliata, tutto molto buono.

07/04/2024: Much appreciated vegetarian variant of traditional dishes. Friendly and approachable staff, excellent dishes and wines. Service on time. Nice place without being licked and in a secluded position with tables also outdoors which makes it enjoyable. Last but not least, inside the volume of the music is calibrated so as to really be a background and not a nuisance. We were in Assisi too little to escape the "tourist trap" dynamic that unfortunately can be found almost everywhere but the Gardens really seemed like a breath of fresh air to us. We'll be back, thanks.
27/03/2024: Ristorante accogliente e tranquillo, abbiamo ordinato una bruschetta buona e abbondante, poi il pollo alla cacciatora molto buono, mio marito il maialino e mia mamma la faraona sono stati molto soddisfatti.
Conto onesto. Ritorneremo a pranzare al ristorante degli orti.

04/04/2024: Nestled in an alley in front of the Temple of Minerva, in this historic trattoria there is a familiar atmosphere, with simple and sincere cuisine.
01/04/2024: A local gem located in the heart of Assisi old town - friendly staff and decent price, especially considering the location. We had eggplant with cheese, capellini (a local type of pasta) with pork, and stuffed dove (piccione alla ghiotta - also a local specialty of Umbria region). All were rich in flavour, we can highly recommend this trattoria!

05/04/2024: I normally never eat at a restaurant more than once on a vacation so I can visit as many as possible. I ended up eating here three times on our visit to assisi. The food and the atmosphere and staff are amazing.
03/04/2024: Had the cappellacci di bufala and mango panna cotta for dessert. Delicious, and the service was fantastic!

We randomly stopped to eat here, it was raining and we had just left the sanctuary.
He offers the "torta al testo" stuffed with salami and cheese, there are already combined proposals. I really like cheese and I got some advice.
The pecorino di fossa is very good.
Highly recommended

04/04/2024: We have tried both the rooms and the restaurant in countless circumstances and we have always found great professionalism towards customers; cuisine and comfort of the highest quality.
In particular we would like to point out the courtesy and education of all the staff. Even for this aspect alone, it is an experience that is absolutely recommended.
29/03/2024: This family-run structure is a corner of beauty, hospitality and serenity set in a holy and peaceful place such as Assisi and, furthermore, particularly recommended for its proximity to the Basilica of S. Maria degli Angeli. The atmosphere you breathe, thanks to the courtesy and kindness of its owners and managers, make your stays unique experiences of life and sharing. The standard of the food is excellent as is the accommodation in the rooms, carefully furnished and perfectly maintained in all their aspects. From the Cantico it is possible to easily reach on foot or, for those relatively distant, by taxi or bus (available in the immediate vicinity), all the places dear to Franciscanism and art. We recommend everyone, for the good of body and mind, a stop at the Cantico.....you will be enraptured....and you will be the one to say it.....Seeing is believing!!

01/04/2024: We went on Easter evening, what can I say, excellent food and maximum professionalism. The owner is kind and sociable. I highly recommend it if you are in the area. Ah, I forgot, they also gave us a ceramic baking dish from Assisi. See you next time
29/03/2024: Many times I have noticed this Trattoria, passing by in the car and I have never entered. This evening, I can say that it was a big mistake not to have stopped in the past years, because the food is wonderful, helpful staff, excellent service. there will be other future evenings at the Trattoria degli Angeli. Starter, first course and dessert. All washed down with a Montefalco red.
31/03/2024: I was there a few nights ago for dinner, a nice place typical of the area. Not bad and good choice of pizzas. I had a hamburger with chips which was very good I must say. The only negative note is the wait before eating (about 40 minutes). Despite this it is still a good restaurant. The dessert, a yoghurt with a biscuit entirely made with lavender, is very particular. To be recommended

05/04/2024: Our family stayed in this very pleasant farmhouse during the Easter holidays. Excellent location, tasty breakfast and dinner, we point out that in the apartments there is the very pleasant surprise of finding two bathrooms for two rooms, a truly appreciated plus for family management.

17/03/2024: Se amate la confusione questo è il vostro ristorante! Il disagio inizia all'arrivo, si deve entrare in una strada senza sbocco e affidarsi alla creatività per parcheggiare (poi all'uscita ne pagherete le conseguenze). Entrati sembrava la curva nord dello stadio di San Siro il giorno del derby! Un gentile cameriere ti porta al tuo tavolo passando in mezzo a un labirinto di tavoli e appena seduti il colpo d'occhio sulla folla è incredibile. I camerieri sono gentili e efficenti e in poco tempo prendono l'ordine e altrettanto presto arrivano gli antipasti. Da capire la differenza tra tagliere e tagliere maxi per 2, forse la dimensione del piatto? Primi leggermente scotti, grigliata troppo cotta, spiedino secco quasi immangiabile. Il conto adeguato il servizio efficiente uniche note positive.
22/02/2024: Cena di famiglia. Posto accogliente e familiare. Essendo 18 persone abbiamo optato per un antipasto della casa con salumi, bruschette, formaggi e frittini( formaggio squisito) e poi un giro pizza.
Pizza sottile impasto leggero e digeribile e ingredienti buoni. Lo consiglio.
Prezzi nella norma. Siamo stati molto bene.

05/01/2024: Cosa potrebbe migliorare? TUTTO!!!
L' ultimo dell'anno 2023 stufe portatili a gas piazzate dietro la schiena delle persone, visto che ci hanno fatto sedere sotto un portico chiuso con la plastica, il menù pesce affogato dal pecorino perché di Astice non c'era traccia.
vogliamo parlare del menù terra?
Bene, tagliatelle scolate e impiattate senza sale, olio, aglio... a mezzanotte i camerieri tutti fuori, x 15 minuti abbiamo chiesto di poter avere una bottiglia di spumante per festeggiare...
Insomma eravamo in 14 e, chiaramente siamo andati a protestare, tutti, dalla proprietaria la quale, molto scocciata e perplessa del suo servizio, ha iniziato ad incolpare i poveri camerieri!
A quel punto le abbiamo certificato che noi, al picnic, non torneremo mai più‼️
P.S. L'asporto, peraltro molto costoso, l'hanno mangiato i cani. Questa è stata la nostra esperienza al PICNIC. Lo scorso anno tutto buonissimo, quest'anno 20€ in più ed immangiabile!

19/12/2023: Cena tra amici con bambini, location carina alle pendici di Assisi, pietanze buone nella media di altri locali come i prezzi, forse causa locale affollato il servizio è stato un pò lento e carente, ma ci può stare , prezzi nella media.
