Even though it's popular with tourists, it maintains its originality, attention to detail, and tradition. Excellent and varied dishes. Attentive and attentive service. The perfect place and time to unwind after the hustle and bustle of the day.

As my partner and I strolled through the streets of Assisi, following our route from one church to the next, we were literally drawn in by the aromas wafting from the kitchens of this little restaurant. It didn't take long to convince us: we booked, and a couple of hours later, we were seated. In our opinion, it was the best culinary experience we've had in the Assisi-Perugia area. The homemade pasta was exceptionally good: the strangozzi alla norcina was truly memorable, and the pesto in my partner's pasta was truly exceptional. Everything was made with top-quality ingredients, and you could taste it! Not to mention the guinea fowl cooked in a pot, the frittatina with local vegetables, etc. This restaurant is proof that even in a place like Assisi that easily risks becoming too touristy, there are still places capable of giving you the true flavor of tradition. The only downside? ...which isn't near Rome... otherwise we'd return much more often :-) Highly recommended!

Delicious homemade pasta, we liked the one with mushrooms and also wild board. Salads and table hote menu is quite good. Great service and nice place to eat al fresco.

A little hidden in the alleys of Assisi, but it's worth the search because you'll leave feeling full and satisfied. A pleasant, intimate place, with friendly and courteous staff and truly excellent traditional cuisine. We've been there for dinner twice, and I already miss those strangozzi alla norcina 😄. We'll be back.

Welcoming restaurant, friendly and attentive staff. I had dinner with my wife on the evening of May 16th. We started with a very rich vegetarian taière, then moved on to tagliatelle with hare sauce and a vegetable and grain soup. Everything was excellent. We then shared a portion of grilled suckling pig and baked potatoes. Really good. Wine, water, and a sorbet. Average value for money. Recommended.

We ordered the €30 combo platter (we didn't know the free gift included in the price). The meat was nothing special, and there were very few vegetables or salad on the plate. We also ordered a "salatona," which was actually a regular salad, but it cost almost €10. The place is cute, located on a small alley in Assisi.

Last night we had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant. Due to a travel delay, we arrived well after our reservation, just as the staff was already clearing the table. Despite this, we were greeted with truly rare kindness and helpfulness. The owner, in particular, was incredibly friendly, making us feel immediately welcome and completely at ease, as if we were long-awaited guests and not late customers. The cuisine exceeded all expectations, with excellent quality products! An experience that impressed us not only for the quality of the food, but above all for the humanity and customer care. A place we would return to without hesitation and highly recommend to anyone passing through.

Enchanting place. We had a divine dinner and most importantly, there was no wait to be seated or to dine. Fantastic 😍 I recommend it, in fact I highly recommend it.

The food is good, the price is fair, the place is welcoming, the staff are friendly and smiling. 🫠What more could you ask for?

Lovely food!! Homely atmosphere with delicious food. Full of locals and less tourists so it’s a great escape from the bustling main square.
