02/05/2025: It's good to let it go. We asked for 4 pasta dishes, everyone wanted to order their own based on their own taste. It seems to me that it is normal to order from the menu and according to your taste. The waiter said that we had to order 4 identical dishes even though the 4 dishes we were ordering were on the menu... he was also annoyed! Meh! Do I pay and do I have to do what a waiter wants? No thank you.

30/03/2025: I stayed from 03/27/2025 TO 03/30/2025 with a group from Valledolmo for the Bastia Umbra fair. Excellent hotel, Kindness, availability and friendliness, from the owner to all the staff. Excellent cuisine. Spotless rooms. Highly recommended 🥰❤️

26/04/2025: Osteria del Corso is a gourmet restaurant, beautiful aesthetically, the furnishings that surround it are refined and have a strong impact. The chef's entrée was characterized by a polenta with a taleggio cream, truly tasty. The main course was egg Malfatti, white duck ragù, brown stock with white wine and a little truffle, they turned out to be balanced and tasty. (really small portion). For dessert, I decided on a fantastic and very balanced meringue, pistachio cream, salted white chocolate puff pastry. I must give due compliments to the staff, kind, cordial, friendly and attentive. We were looked after and pampered to perfection, thank you girls.

08/02/2025: Nice place, very friendly staff and excellent food. We ate a platter of cured meats and cheeses, maltagliati with duck and truffle ragù and parcels filled with Umbrian sausage and truffle. Really good! Despite the predominantly tourist location, good cuisine and quality products. Advise!

07/05/2025: Conosco le peschine e di solito prendo quelle a colazione, sono buonissime, le migliori di tutte , nei dintorni... Ma c'è un MA...l'ultima volta ho voluto provare la loro brioche alla panna...con mia grande sorpresa, visto il nome e la fama della pasticceria la panna non era panna vera, ma panna vegetale!!! Incredibileee, ma come mai mi chiedo? Una persona a cui piace la panna, perché dovrebbe prendere un pezzo di brioche secca , neanche fatta bene e immaginare un qualsiasi sapore all'interno? Perché la panna vegetale non sa di nulla naturalmente. Da una pasticceria che si rispetti, ci si aspettano almeno ingredienti di qualità. La prossima volta solo peschine!!!

14/05/2025: At the end of April we celebrated my husband's 70th birthday. The search for a restaurant was not easy because, being the second time we were in Assisi, the first one had not left us with exceptional gastronomic experiences. I was very cautious in my choice: I did not want a banal place, nor a place, even if ancient, like a cellar. I wanted a place possibly outdoors and quite close to our hotel. After careful analysis, the choice fell on the Ristorante Hotel Giotto for the presence of the panoramic terrace and for an attractive menu. My instinct led me to a perfect place! We admired the sunset from the terrace and the food was exquisite! The waiters also reserved a pleasant surprise for us: a candle on the dessert chosen by my husband. We thank them from the bottom of our hearts! Furthermore, the prices were moderate for the type of place. Highly recommended.

11/05/2025: To get there you have to take the road that passes from Assisi to Mount Subasio if you go by car. If you prefer to go on foot, you can park in Assisi and arrive in half an hour with a walk through the woods. The restaurant is beautiful and quaint. Worth a spin to see the extreme customizations that have been made. Writings on the walls, dedication icons! The Bracere is wonderful. All very good.

10/05/2025: Nice place just above Assisi. Many tables available outdoors and indoors. Very good food with large portions. Honest prices. From the restaurant car park it is possible to reach the center of Assisi with a short 20mi walk through the woods. Advised.

26/04/2025: After a nice walk through the village we were welcomed with kindness, cordiality and genuine joy, delicious dishes, the truffle pasta one of the best I've ever eaten and what can we say about the rocciata we had an encore

23/04/2025: All in all the food is good and the place is nice; we took the bruschetta which however was without infamy and without praise and the tagliatelle with wild boar ragù which however was good. Apparently the closing time would be 10.30pm but at 9.30pm they made it clear we had to leave. After paying, at around 9.45pm, they turned off the lights before waiting for us to cross the threshold. We didn't expect to leave at 10pm, but I didn't like the attitude.

01/05/2025: Not being able to give a good 0 I give 1 star I arrived this morning around 9 with my family I rang and the cleaning lady opened the door and told me I could leave my bags and so I called the owner saying that he had a triple ready and she was kind the problem arose when the owner arrived shouting come down and attacking us with a threatening and arrogant air in front of an 11 year old girl I told him if he does that I'm leaving I was answered bye and told that he didn't need us no problem I changed structure spending a little more than the 90 euros for one night on top of everything the girl got scared and didn't want to sleep there anymore some people should have their licenses taken away if you are not capable of dealing with those who bring you money it is better that you change jobs so my judgment is terrible on my part and on my family's part having used this inappropriate behavior

02/05/2025: Excellent fish restaurant with first choice products and attentive and precise staff. The starter and first course portions are generous, the quality remains very high. Not knowing what to try second, I particularly appreciated the owner's exquisite availability in finding a solution: an off-menu consisting of tastings that ranged from a classic tuna tataki to reinterpretations never seen before, some of which can be defined as true works of art. Nothing left to chance, the flavors are always balanced and enhanced to perfection. Desserts are also promoted. The price is more than consistent with what is offered.

27/04/2025: Unfortunately we had a very bad experience with the staff, in particular with the "cook" if you can call him that... as well as being totally disorganised... cold starter brought 25 minutes before the hot starter... and after a few reminders to his wife an "element" comes out of the kitchen looking like a braggart asking if there were any problems... the justification was that one was hot and one was cold... so what?... (how disgusting... it would be better to change the way we deal with customers... this way we just do the clownish and rude) after all he also told us that this was the last course and that we could leave... I don't know if he is the owner or an employee... but in both cases he should change jobs... maybe go and dig the land... without offending the farmers... The basics of catering are clear and for those who work as restaurateurs they should be "law"... instead here you can find high prices (as if we were in Cracco) and not proportionate to either the location or the quality level... there were chipped dishes, courses served haphazardly in chronological order, loud discussions with customers and inadequacy for the profession... The only polite, friendly and helpful one was Manuel. However, if the person who calls himself a "chef" needs clarification, just write to me and I'll come back...
