01/07/2026: We loved it! Beautiful view, excellent food and service! Highly recommend!

30/06/2026: We stopped here for lunch on the way to our Assisi visit and it turned out to be a really good call🥳 We ordered the recommended dishes family-style, one each where we could, so everyone got to try a proper spread of the local Umbrian food. We really enjoyed Il Properzio as the starter platter, especially the bruschette, truffle croquette, Norcia ham and cheeses. The cipolline in agrodolce, the sweet and sour onions, were excellent too. For pasta, the Tortelloni farciti con faraona arrosto with Norcia truffle was rich and very good, and the Pappardelle al ragù speziato di cinghiale e crema di funghi porcini was a highlight. Very hearty, full of flavour, and exactly the kind of dish you want in Umbria. For mains, the Medaglioni di filetto di vitello con tartufo di Norcia was tender and nicely done, the Costine di agnello scottadito alla griglia were very tasty, and the Filetto di baccalà dissalato was also surprisingly good. Even the insalata mista had a nice vinaigrette, which sounds simple but made a difference. Overall, good food, friendly service, and a very worthwhile lunch stop before heading up to Assisi. Glad we came❤️🥰

11/07/2026: Amazing location and super delicious food! We sat outside and it was super cute and nice. We had the Florentinian steak which was seriously amazing, perfectly cooked and flavored. On the side we had some grilled vegetables and grilled onion on the side which also was great. My sister also had an amazing pasta. Overall a great place, highly recommend!

09/07/2026: The service was slow and sloppy. The prices are misleading because a steak is listed at 24 euros, yet they charge 30. Our steak was well-done. They forgot our sides; I asked for them twice and only received them after my dish was finished. As "compensation," the owner offered us free coffee or dessert, only to charge us for our tiramisu anyway. Liars, and on top of that, we had to wait an incredibly long time for everything; even paying was a hassle.

30/06/2026: Italian starters and Passat are amazing, beef and chicken are below average. Service is miserable, you might wait for one hour to have your drinks and another hour for the main course , not only me but many tables around me was unhappy and one table they lift without receiving their drinks even , when to another restaurant

23/05/2026: Excellent first courses, tasty guinea fowl, sautéed herbs stolen from my neighbor were very good. The staff were friendly, fast, and attentive to detail. They were smiling and thoughtful in their explanations. Well done everyone! We'll be back!

10/06/2026: Wow! This was a highlight of our trip to Assisi. One of the most memorable dinners I've ever had. From start to finish was an incredible 3 hour experience. We had the Mosaic tasting menu which was incredible. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Assisi.

Osteria San Pietro is a firm favourite with locals, serving truly delicious traditional dishes and enchanting with its historic, bygone atmosphere. The service is young and attentive, and the prices are reasonable considering the menu.

13/04/2026: I've been going there for over 25 years, eating there with friends and family, and it's a special place for us. The food is high-quality and has some fairly traditional updates. The location is very well-maintained. I highly recommend it.

21/06/2026: We booked for lunch, and the welcome was excellent upon arrival. Both the fried foods and sandwiches are highly recommended. They even modified the sandwich for my lactose intolerance.

03/04/2026: I dined at this restaurant on Saturday, March 28, 2026. A magnificent experience. The restaurant is located in the charming building of The Nun, a complex featuring spa rooms and this restaurant, well-known in the area. The restaurant offers free indoor parking; if it's full, there's public parking just a few steps away. The welcome was professional; the young woman greeted us kindly and carefully stowed our hats in the cloakroom. The selection of dishes was made under the clear and precise guidance of the chef, who explained all the flavors to us. The evening continued in a calm and subdued atmosphere, with the chef present, who explained the characteristics of the dishes to us. The food was fantastic; out of the four courses, we chose two off-menu items. I still remember the flavor of the pumpkin and licorice risotto, a splendid combination that I hope will become a permanent feature on the menu. Everything was perfect, nothing to complain about. The portions were just right, not too large, not too small, with balanced ingredients. The location is elegant; they should keep the terrace open in the summer, however, I think it could improve on some details, the little things, which don't detract from the already wonderful experience. Prices are average for the first courses; the second courses are perhaps a little above average, but nothing excessive when compared to the restaurant's target market. Congratulations to the chef and the staff; I highly recommend it.

02/04/2026: A light lunch with a special menu featuring a few light dishes, well-executed and tasty. A pleasant Umbrian rosé sparkling wine. A very refined, minimalist atmosphere. Attentive and impeccable service. Breathtaking views of Assisi.

11/06/2026: Fabulous location, very quiet. I had a fantastic asparagus and truffle lasagna. Mixed grill platter and homemade tiramisu. Perfect service.

07/06/2026: Our host recommened us this place for lunch and it was the top recommendation. The food was so delicious that after the lunch we made the reservation for the next day. Portions are very big, and the service is great. We will be back!

04/04/2026: We stopped for a quick lunch and ordered the 13 euro menu. I'd say it was plentiful and good... the staff were welcoming and super friendly... a rarity... congratulations!

14/03/2026: We only visited the restaurant as passing tourists, two couples, and ordered the tourist menu. The price was excellent, and the food was very tasty and well-portioned. The kitchen was spotless, and the restrooms were well-maintained. The young people at the tables were extremely courteous, extremely polite, and attentive. The owner's daughter, who is also a talented chef, was friendly and empathetic at the counter. Perfectly family-run, highly recommended. Reservations are recommended due to the large number of guests.

14/05/2026: We're from Brescia and were on vacation in Assisi. We stumbled upon this trattoria by chance. We ate wonderfully. Excellent value for money. The atmosphere is reminiscent of old-fashioned taverns, and the owner was a warm, friendly person from days gone by. I'll definitely be back and recommend it to everyone.

07/05/2026: A charming place, the quality of the dishes was truly excellent, from the appetizers to the tagliatelle and cappelletti, from the meat to the side dishes. Everything was delicious. Efficient service. Average value for money. I'll definitely be back.
