10/04/2026: Four of us were friends on a trip to Assisi and had lunch at Osteria Piazzetta dell'Erba—a perfect choice! The gorgeous day allowed us to sit outside, and from there, everything was a pleasure. We were warmly welcomed and served with attention and professionalism: we felt truly pampered. The dish that everyone raved about? The strangozzi cacio e pepe with truffle, a true delight. It was one of those tables where you laugh, eat well, and never want to leave. We'll be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

09/06/2026: Had dinner last night in this restaurant, housed in a beautiful historical building overlooking Piazza del Comune. The terrace offers a stunning setting for al fresco dining, and enjoying the fresh evening breeze while taking in the view made the experience even more memorable. Moreno, the owner, warmly welcomed us and shared the rich and fascinating history of both the restaurant and the local culinary traditions, adding a personal touch that made us appreciate the experience even more. The food was outstanding and the service impeccable from start to finish. We started with the tagliere, featuring an excellent selection of local cold cuts, cheeses, and other regional specialties. For our main courses, we enjoyed the pappardelle al cinghiale and the lamb, both of which were cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. Everything about our evening was exceptional—the atmosphere, the hospitality, and the quality of the food. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic and unforgettable dining experience.

Very little wait, and the local dishes are top-notch. Very clean, and the quality and price are simply perfect! If I return to Assisi, I'll be back!! Highly recommended!!

07/07/2026: We arrived in the afternoon, and they seated us, I presume, as a mother and daughter, who were really kind. The Umbrian panzanella and strangozzi with sausage were very good. The historic setting is great; if you're walking around the center, this is a great place to eat! Thanks.

27/01/2026: It's a shame we only spent one night here: the rooms were very clean, the bed had a comfortable mattress and pillows, the breakfast was excellent, both sweet and savory, and there was the option of a delicious dinner in their restaurant. Above all, the helpfulness, kindness, and warm welcome of the entire family and staff stood out—truly exceptional!

03/08/2026: We stumbled upon this lovely little place in a small street slightly off the beaten track. We sat on a terrace with wonderfully fragrant basil plants and parasols, nice and cool in the shade (it was 36 degrees, but you wouldn't have known it). We shared an egg and truffle starter between the two of us, followed by fantastic pasta and a good bottle of white wine. We enjoyed it immensely!!

02/08/2026: Today, I unfortunately broke a golden rule: in Italy, you're supposed to just eat Italian food. Why I ordered the vegetarian burger with fries of all things, I honestly don't know. I should have been warned when the waitress didn't even recognize the dish from her menu. What was served, however, had very little in common with a burger. Instead of a burger patty, I received a well-seasoned, quite tasty, lukewarm mound of potato and vegetables—or rather, mush—shaped like a patty, topped with an equally tasty tomato sauce. The "fries" turned out to be homemade crispy potato chips. Unfortunately, these were smothered in mayonnaise, which caused them to become soggy and lose their crispness almost immediately. I generally appreciate that the restaurant offers vegetarian options. However, I would remove this particular dish from the menu. The English and Italian descriptions on the menu, in particular, raised expectations of a classic veggie burger, which the dish actually served did not meet. Perhaps the kitchen staff were unfamiliar with the dish and, in desperation, tried to quickly whip something up. That's exactly how it came across. A bread basket was placed on the table, but its three pieces of bread were unfortunately very hard and barely edible. I'm afraid today wasn't your day! What a waste of €23.

10/06/2026: Not only is it a truly delightful place in the splendid setting of Santa Maria degli Angeli, but it also offers entirely artisanal cuisine with simply extraordinary traditional Umbrian flavors. The service is also excellent.

10/06/2026: Wow! This was a highlight of our trip to Assisi. One of the most memorable dinners I've ever had. From start to finish was an incredible 3 hour experience. We had the Mosaic tasting menu which was incredible. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Assisi.

08/08/2026: We visited this osteria at the recommendation of locals and can't wait to return. We were welcomed without formality and made to feel at the center of an ancient ritual. Not just a simple interpretation of Emilian cuisine, but a true act of love for its most authentic flavors, stripped of any superfluous rusticity and presented with impeccable composure. The dishes are works of artisanal art: from the tortellini sheets, expertly rolled with a rolling pin, to the carefully selected cured meats. But I'd like to give special mention to the strozzapreti, with their flavors both bold and refined. An essential stop for those seeking the most authentic, noble, and convivial soul of Emilia.

05/08/2026: The location is a bit remote, but that's not always a bad thing. Parking isn't a lot along the street, but with a little patience, you can find one. There are plenty of tables both inside and out: inside, on the veranda, and in the courtyard. The menu is classic, and what we ordered was good: crescentine with cured meats, grilled meats, and desserts, paired with one of the many wines available. The service is attentive but not pushy.

14/05/2026: We're from Brescia and were on vacation in Assisi. We stumbled upon this trattoria by chance. We ate wonderfully. Excellent value for money. The atmosphere is reminiscent of old-fashioned taverns, and the owner was a warm, friendly person from days gone by. I'll definitely be back and recommend it to everyone.

07/07/2026: I went tonight with my parents after hearing great things about this place. They only accept reservations for large groups, and since it was a Monday, we didn't have to wait at all. We ordered bruschetta as an appetizer to share, the Bittico (a dish where you can pair two entrees of your choice) to share, grilled sausages, pork rib, grilled potatoes, and mixed side dishes. The bruschetta arrived in record time, the entree quite quickly. We waited almost an hour for the meat, and when it arrived, they even told us the potatoes were out, so we asked for an additional mixed side dish. The quality of the meat was unquestionable, very good, and the desserts were edible, but nothing exceptional. Very confusing service, a shame; I expected more from what I'd heard.
