28/02/2026: I have been to Ristorante Stella a number of times over the last 4 years. The food is always excellent, the service is fantastic and the price is very reasonable. Last night I had the carcoifi fritti, ossobucco, panna cotta and a wonderful Raina white wine. I could not have asked for a better dinner. For the first time I also stayed in one of their rooms, which was above the restaurant. The bed was possibly one of the most comfortable I have ever experienced in a hotel. The room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and with a fun/interesting design. I highly recommend both their rooms and the restaurant!

07/04/2026: I had Easter lunch with my mother and sister. They reserved a spot on the terrace for us without asking, simply because we were among the first to book! Dining on the terrace is a real treat. The terrace is truly a gem, overlooking the Piazza del Comune, is spacious, and has a panoramic view. The food was truly delicious and carefully prepared, despite the fixed menu specifically for Easter. This isn't always the case, and this made us appreciate the professionalism of the owners, who are also very friendly. We recommend this place both for its historic character and for the pleasant, convivial atmosphere: excellent food and a professional yet warm welcome.

02/04/2026: We stopped for lunch on our way to Orvieto. The menu changes daily and includes artisanal crescia; today it was gnocchi with ragù, grilled meat, and spinach. We also had gratinated vegetables. Everything was delicious, and the price was fair. Well done!

01/01/2026: An inn nestled in the green Umbrian hills near Montefalco, with an adjoining guesthouse. Found completely by chance, it turned out to be a huge stroke of luck. Welcoming, intimate, very rustic and warm, the restaurant proved to be an incredible refuge on a bitterly cold New Year's Eve evening, offering a rich and unique à la carte menu drawing on local specialties. We thoroughly enjoyed every dish and were delighted by the attentive and courteous staff, who were incredibly helpful and attentive to the needs and schedules of each table. The price was completely in line with the service and quality of the dishes offered. The panettone, of course, homemade with all-natural and local ingredients, with creams, recommended for dessert, was so good that we purchased one separately at the end of the dinner. Worth noting was the great humanity and sensitivity shown during an unpleasant situation between a couple at a nearby table. With great tact and delicacy, a very subtle intervention was implemented, which completely resolved the situation. I take my hat off to the attentive service from the owner/chef and the staff. Overall, therefore, a 10+++ rating. Not much to report, but a truly delightful discovery. Congratulations, well done!

20/04/2026: We went here for my boyfriend's birthday. We initially didn't want to come because of the two-seating issue, but LUCKILY we changed our minds! The food was divine, the service excellent, and, on the recommendation of Enzo, the waiter who accompanied us on the evening, we also drank a delicious wine! We recommend it and will definitely be back when we're in the area!

07/01/2026: The space is spacious and clean. Despite the fire, there's absolutely no smell, which isn't a given. The service is exceptionally polite and fast. The meat is excellent. The platters are delicious. We were able to enjoy lunch with my furry friends, and we weren't the only ones. Despite this, I repeat, everything is very clean. Thank you.

08/04/2026: I had high expectations for this place, and I must say they were far exceeded. The staff is extremely kind and welcoming, putting you at ease right away. The service is prompt and with reasonable wait times, never intrusive. The quality of the products is evident from the first bite: extremely fresh and top-quality ingredients are showcased in tasty, generous, and aesthetically pleasing dishes (the choice of colorful ceramics is beautiful; it truly felt like eating at grandma's house). The warm, family-friendly atmosphere evokes local tradition. The selection of craft beers is also excellent. Even though I'm not a big beer fan, I found that one truly enjoyable and well-paired. Special mention goes to the tartare, simply delicious; to the rigatoni alla norcina with the freshest ricotta that made all the difference; and finally, to the Sicilian cannoli, truly excellent. A restaurant I recommend without hesitation and will gladly return to next time I'm in Foligno.

Fresh truffles available in season, homemade pasta, delicious veal stew, tartare, and buffalo mozzarella with truffles. Excellent value for money. Local wine list. Unique decor, vintage plates, glasses, and cutlery. Homemade desserts. Outdoor tables with views of the valley are available. Congratulations, a delightful, "old-fashioned" lunch!
