03/05/2026: My partner and I happened upon this place by chance a few weeks ago. The entrance to the restaurant is certainly unique, yet very authentic. The owner's welcome immediately gives you a sense of warmth and authenticity, and the rest of the staff is also incredibly kind. The quality and flavor of the food are beyond words; it simply has to be experienced! Thanks to Carlo (if I'm not mistaken, that's the owner's name) for this sensational experience!

02/05/2026: The food was good, average; I wasn't impressed, but I wasn't disappointed either. The prices were definitely high (the first course was around €17-18). The staff was very kind and helpful, which is probably its strength. Unfortunately, the rest was nothing special: the atmosphere was dark and neglected, the glasses were all sorts of different (I dined with a cocktail glass, also used for wine), and the house wine was definitely not to be ordered. I definitely won't be returning.

05/04/2026: We had a seafood lunch on Easter Sunday with a lovely view of the lake. The staff was super friendly and attentive despite the crowd! The food and ingredients were top-quality! A place we'll definitely return to!

06/04/2026: A delicious gastronomic stop in Trevi at a lovely restaurant, with attentive service and authentic food! The strangozzi with truffles, vegetables, radicchio, and sliced ​​beef were all delicious. Finish with the classic tozzetti with Vin Santo!

21/03/2026: Located in the center of Trevi... a very cute place, pappardelle with wild boar ragù and ricotta and walnut tortelli... spectacular... all washed down with a glass of Montefalco red wine. The staff were kind and extremely helpful, especially with my kids. I recommend stopping by... if you pass through this charming village.

12/05/2026: I was truly looking forward to this restaurant after reading so many reviews and I am a big fan of truffles. I felt the staff were very professional and pretty knowledgeable about truffles and we had some lovely conversations about them. I think they also appreciated that I speak Italian. The wine was pretty good and really inexpensive and they allow you to taste it even if it’s by the glass. As I told the waiter the millefogli alla Patate was divine and one of the best antipasti I’ve ever had. At this point my expectations were very high. I must say I was a bit disappointed by my pasta dish - I had the ravioli with rocotta and truffle. I felt they were neither very fresh nor very warm so it didn’t live up to my expectations. My mum had the packet I which were pretty nice. I feel overall they are very generous with truffle shavings which is highly appreciated. I think still worth the visit if you are into truffles.

31/05/2026: Excellent dinner! We chose the truffle appetizer and two truffle-themed first courses. House wine. Everything was excellent. Service was prompt and welcoming, though a little slower during peak hours. Understandable, given that the place was practically packed. We'll be back!

26/04/2026: Four of us dined at this restaurant on the evening of April 25, 2026, and it was a wonderful experience of flavors, aromas, courtesy, and familiarity. A 10 out of 10 goes to the entire dinner, from the platters to the first courses, the meat, and the side dishes, all enhanced by the friendliness of Claudio and his entire family. We didn't try the desserts just because we were full, but we promise to return with more friends and enjoy the dessert experience as well. The price was fair and honest.

08/04/2026: I came back here again to enjoy the great food and atmosphere. We came at lunch time, where we waited a little longer for our food, but we must say that we all enjoyed ourselves. The fresh fish was amazing.....the homemade pasta tasted like grandma's and everything was just great. I will definitely come back here again when I pass by.

02/05/2026: Lunch on the terrace on a lovely spring-like day. In an Assisi packed with pilgrims, we felt like we were in a haven for a select few. A wonderful feeling. The food was carefully prepared, with excellent and expertly selected ingredients. The service was prompt and attentive. The quality/price ratio was very fair, I'd say. If I could, I'd go back next Saturday. Thank you.

10/05/2026: A truly positive experience at La Bella Selva in Assisi. A welcoming place, surrounded by greenery, perfect for a relaxing day. Excellent food, generous portions, and authentic flavors. Everything was meticulously designed, from the ambiance to the service. The staff was incredibly kind and always smiling. Definitely one of the most pleasant places in the area!

01/02/2026: We had lunch with our entire football team ⚽ Ponte Vecchio which plays in the Umbria Excellence championship. We ate very well, everything homemade, truly exceptional.
