05/08/2025: It was a super pleasant discovery... a very nice place and a place that makes you feel at home... super food, the Umbrian appetizer is a marvel both to see and to eat... exceptional tagliata, tender and perfectly cooked, which is not always easy... I must say that the host is very friendly and makes you feel at home right away... we will definitely be back...

21/07/2025: We went for lunch on Sunday for the first time. The restaurant is nestled in the countryside and has a lot of character inside. The menu is varied and original, featuring homemade yet sophisticated dishes. At the suggestion of the charming Simone, I opted for the BBQ ribs: highly recommended. I've never tasted such tender meat, and the quality of the ingredients is top-notch. I also recommend the delicious focaccia. The restaurant's originality is greatly appreciated. Congratulations to Simone and his colleagues. We'll definitely be back.

10/10/2025: A Hidden Gem in Orvieto – Absolutely Phenomenal We had dinner at Trattoria del Moro Aronne in Orvieto, and it was one of the most memorable meals of our trip. Important tip: Make reservations. This is a small, cozy restaurant, and we watched them turn away multiple walk-ins throughout the evening. The Wine: Don't overlook the house red – it's excellent and the perfect complement to their dishes. And limoncello at the end of the meal was fantastic! What We Ordered: Eggplant Parmesan (appetizer) – Quite possibly the best I've ever had. Perfectly executed. Bird's Nest Vegetarian Lasagne with Pecorino and Honey – This was Creamy, subtly sweet, and so light it practically melted in my mouth. The combination of savory pecorino with a touch of honey was absolutely divine and surprisingly refreshing. Tagliatelle with Wild Boar Sauce – Pure, rich deliciousness. No tomato in this sauce – just deep, concentrated flavor that lets the wild boar shine through. Steak with Gorgonzola and Chocolate – My husband's choice, and he loved it. Who would have thought it paired so well! It was delicious! Dessert: We ordered both the tiramisu and the "chocolate cake." Get the chocolate cake. It's not actually a cake – it's a warm, molten chocolate mound surrounded by cream. Heavenly. The atmosphere is intimate and cozy, and the service was wonderful. This place delivers an exceptional dining experience without any pretension. Highly recommend!

06/10/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant on Saturday evening based on the reviews. The experience far exceeded our expectations. The place has a lot of character, and the choice of furnishings and certain small details reflect and characterize the taste and choices of this place. You can't help but be impressed by the small touches that undoubtedly define the experience. We ate some first courses and traditional local food. In particular, the tortelloni with creamed asparagus turned out to be a very good dish, where the different ingredients helped to enhance the flavors. The beef fillet was truly amazing. The wine was excellent, and the service was very discreet and attentive. Everything was characterized by extreme simplicity. The owners of this restaurant welcomed us with utmost simplicity and attention, proving that sometimes, to offer a high-quality experience, you don't need to emphasize certain aspects of the service. It was a wonderful experience, and I believe it was one of the best restaurants I've ever been to.

15/10/2025: We return to this restaurant after a few years, and the atmosphere and hospitality have not changed. We listen carefully as Lorenzo explains the menu and decide on the classic truffle menu, of course. We pair our dishes with a Montefalco. We end the evening with a pleasant surprise: since there's no dessert on the menu, they let us choose: tiramisu 😋. A beautiful and delicious return.

14/10/2025: An elegant restaurant, with very attentive staff (the complimentary liqueur at the end was much appreciated), and I must say, very attentive to their friends too. Remarkable quality dishes, and they definitely don't skimp on the use of truffles. PS: I'd return to Perugia just to try those truffle ravioli again.

The menu is intriguing, and the service and attention are impeccable. They pampered us all evening and made us feel at home. The menu is varied and never boring, the food is excellent and artfully presented. The wine list is beautiful. Great attention was paid to food intolerances and/or special requests. Excellent value for money. We'll be back soon!

09/10/2025: Dinner with colleagues, with some suspicions about a restaurant with a very (too?) ambitious name. But what? And yet, it turned out to be a temple of taste, hospitality, and care. The people who welcomed and served us during dinner poured all their passion into making this a magical experience, far beyond the extraordinary quality of the dishes prepared for us. Samples were also prepared for those who hadn't ordered a starter or dessert, making the dinner a true social gathering where, at no point, no one was excluded from participating. Every suggestion and every small gesture aimed to make our dinner a special moment. Coming to Spoleto and not having lunch or dinner at Tempio could be a missed opportunity.

05/11/2025: So what can I say about this restaurant? If you're ever in the area, and especially in Perugia, you absolutely must stop by. It's a well-known spot where you can savor the region's specialties. You won't be disappointed from appetizer to dessert. A little tip: go on an empty stomach! 😄

21/10/2025: We really enjoyed our stay! The place is amazing, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. The local wine was excellent, the host was lovely and available at any time, and the restaurant recommendations in the area were excellent.

18/10/2025: Family owned restaurant in the heart of Citta della Pieve, never disappoints kind, warm, professional and friendly service. In the colder months it's nice to be downstairs in front of the log fired oven. Great steaks perfectly cooked to your choice - red is best and not for the faint hearted. Solid selection if good Italian wines. What's not to love ❤️

06/10/2025: A lovely restaurant nestled in the beautiful Umbrian countryside between Montefalco and Spoleto! A dream location! Authentic flavors, friendly staff, but in my opinion, the prices are way too high! It's practically comparable to cities like Milan, Rome, and Venice. For an €80 lunch for two in Umbria, including two appetizers, two main courses, two glasses of wine, and two coffees, that seems like a lot!

05/10/2025: I took a trip to Umbria in early September. I have to say this was my favorite restaurant. The staff was truly warm and welcoming, offering you a glass of wine as soon as you sat down. The appetizers were simple but thoughtful, and the first and second courses were excellent! I highly recommend this place.
