08/08/2025: Nice place, if a little chaotic. The service is excellent, the waiters are very kind and friendly. The food is good and reasonably priced. The only downside is the cocktails are a bit watered down. If you don't ask for appetizers, they won't bring them to you, and if you don't drink quickly, you end up having to eat the main course with the cocktail because they don't wait.

31/08/2025: Excellent food, the charcuterie platter as an appetizer was fantastic. We had the gnocchi and other homemade pasta. Family-run and incredibly friendly. I highly recommend it!

19/08/2025: Umami Umami, you really over did yourself. Came with no expectations, left with wanting 10 more meals from them. Starters, Perfect. If you’ve ever had something Japanese and liked it, then get the Japanese Starters and if you didn’t like the the Japanese thing you tried, still get the Japanese Starters. They were absolute perfection. The onigiri perfect, the rice meat seaweed rap thing perfect and everything else just perfect. Starters alone already get a 5 Stars. Then if that didn’t already satisfy you get the Manila Burger, the meat the onion rings, everything was just perfect. I got it without sweat potatoes so I don’t know how it is with them, but how I got the Burger, it was perfect. Loved Everything so much. If I could I would give a Million Stars, 5 out of 5 would recommend and probably will come again if I’m ever in the area again.

17/08/2025: I love this pub, although calling it a pub is an understatement given the sophisticated dishes on the menu. My boyfriend and I dined here three nights in a row, and we would have returned a fourth if our little trip hadn't ended. The food was excellent, with innovative dishes. The staff was fantastic, friendly, and helpful. They also pay great attention to gluten-free options. We hope to return soon. Unfortunately, it's impossible to give more than 5 stars. Keep up the good work, because everything is fantastic. The dishes in the photos are all gluten-free.

23/08/2025: Unfortunately, this was one of the worst meals we’ve had in Italy. The staff and setting are nice, but the food was not at all good. Salads with no dressing or seasoning, pasta with no sauce, the cod tasted like a refrigerator and the cannelloni was so hot for the entire meal, which probably meant it was cooked in a microwave. Skip this place!

18/08/2025: Very friendly and helpful staff. Everything was delicious; I recommend the truffle tortellini and the wild boar pappardelle.

But the real highlights of this place are Ernesto's extraordinary cuisine, impeccable in every course (and we've tasted so many!), and his wife's warm welcome, ready to chat with guests and share the story behind every item on the menu. 12/09/2025: Truffles galore If you're looking for a place to enjoy a delicious truffle feast, this is the place for you. Nice place with young, friendly staff. The beef tartare with black truffle was excellent. The fillet steak was a bit disappointing; in my opinion, the quality of the meat wasn't exceptional. Overall, a decent value.

09/09/2025: Super central location, easy to get to on foot. Impeccable service, divine food, every bite a pleasure. Literally truffles everywhere, even in the dishes you don't expect (desserts). Obviously recommended for truffle lovers 👌🏻 Very peaceful atmosphere and my boyfriend and I had a very, very pleasant lunch here ☺️ Highly, highly, highly recommended!!!

02/09/2025: We visited Trattoria Margherita during our trip to Umbria and were thrilled! The restaurant is welcoming, rustic, and meticulously maintained, with a warm, family-friendly atmosphere that makes you feel instantly at home. We enjoyed traditional Umbrian dishes, all prepared with fresh, authentic ingredients: from tortelloni with sausage and truffle to pappardelle with wild boar, every course was rich in flavor and perfectly cooked. The homemade desserts were the icing on the cake. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, always attentive and ready to offer the best recommendations. The value for money was also excellent, especially considering the quality and generous portions. A truly authentic place, where the cuisine speaks for itself. We will definitely return and recommend it to anyone looking for a true Umbrian food and wine experience!

30/08/2025: A late August day, rain, and Trattoria Margherita. Jonathan, one of the two partners, undoubtedly knows what he's doing. The location is delightful, rustic yet elegant and well-kept. We skip the appetizer because the truffles are calling, so we order ciriole (fresh homemade pasta) with truffles and gnocchi with mutton sauce. The first courses are plentiful and high-quality, Jonathan follows us, giving us advice, then the second courses... extra-tender tagliata with salt and oil, and the tartufata, scrambled eggs with truffles and baked potatoes that are a delight for the palate: grilled first and then baked. Two glasses of wine to accompany, and to finish, the Italian dessert of childhood: zuppa inglese! Stop in Strettura, Trattoria la Margherita. In winter, the large fireplace will captivate and enchant you... even if the quality of the raw materials reigns supreme, and life will be more beautiful!

02/09/2025: We found this place by chance... Eleonora (the chef) makes the dishes unique, not only for the quality but also for the love she puts into the table. Iacopo manages the service excellently. We dined there four consecutive nights. It was impossible to change. They pampered us in every way. I have a lot of allergies and Eleonora always fed me, from appetizer to dessert... I hope to be able to return soon.

26/08/2025: Five stars aren't enough to describe this place. "Time" has never been more fitting, as after eating there, you feel like you're close to paradise. Delicious and refined food, impeccable service, rare kindness, competitive prices considering the excellence that defines this restaurant in every way. The tasting menus are unmissable. Unfortunately, I discovered it on the last day of my stay in Spoleto, otherwise I would have stayed there the entire time.

20/08/2025: Disorganized. We arrived at 8:30 PM and they made us leave even though we had a reservation for 9:00 PM, and at that time, 50% of the tables were empty. Too bad for them. We found another restaurant 30 meters away (without a reservation) and had a wonderful meal!

30/06/2025: Located in the countryside and far from the chaos of the city, Locanda Rovicciano offers attentive and tasty cuisine. The menu is varied and carefully prepared, the service is fast and professional. We stayed at the property for the second time. The apartment we slept in is rustic, clean and spacious. I heartily recommend it to anyone who loves cooking, chef Andrea is a guarantee!!

11/06/2025: Spent a nice summer evening here. Ate outside. Pleasant location in a well-kept garden. An old Golden Retriever was sleeping. Ate well. The highlight was fried brains, which I hadn't eaten since the mad cow epidemic. Nice memory. Service not slow and effective. Friendly Florentine chef. Reasonable prices. We'll be back.
