18/08/2025: We visited the Pienzenau Restaurant in Merano on a balmy summer evening last week and were thrilled from the start. The stunning location, nestled between the vineyards and the old town of Merano, impressed us. The magnificent garden surrounding the property is a true gem and invites you to linger. Our seat on the terrace offered a wonderful view of the property and garden – a perfect setting for a special evening. The hostess and her team welcomed us warmly, immediately creating a familiar and homely atmosphere. Culinary delights left nothing to be desired: We enjoyed a fantastic three-course menu that will remain with us forever. The taste, quality, and presentation were of the highest standard. The team was also perfectly prepared for my gluten-free requests – without any prior notice. We would especially like to mention the young ladies in the waiting room – incredibly attentive, courteous, and always warm. All in all, it was an evening we will cherish for a long time to come. 21/09/2025: The menu at the Greiterhof completely captivated us, prepared with a great deal of love. Absolutely authentic! We are grateful to have had the opportunity to experience it. Alex is always very accommodating and helpful. We highly recommend the Greiterhof! :-)

27/09/2025: Restaurant close to Lake Karatsa, We ate pasta and pizza and it was really delicious. The owners of the restaurant were very nice and the value for money was good.

07/09/2025: The food and local beer they recommended were both excellent. The staff was incredibly friendly. I visited late at night, but they told me not to worry. The meat was cooked on a wood-fired grill. It was absolutely delicious!! Highly recommended!!

25/09/2025: Great cappuccino with latte art, apple strudel with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream was a poem! We would come back anytime.

11/10/2025: A lovely inn with direct access to the road with a hairpin bend. Lots of motorcyclists. A very friendly and helpful waiter, the food was very good, and the prices were reasonable. You're rewarded with a beautiful view of the valley. Definitely worth a stop.

10/10/2025: An unexpectedly welcoming place, I didn't expect it to be, given its location on a hairpin bend leading to the Giovo Pass. Instead, the rooms and lounge have a beautiful view of the valley, and there's also a swimming pool with a sauna and a solarium terrace. Perfect. The only downside is the 7:30 PM cutoff for dinner, which is a bit early for us Italians.

02/10/2025: Typical pizzeria with a wide selection of Italian dishes. Very friendly staff who even notice when your glass is empty. The coffee after the meal was really good. Highly recommended!

30/09/2025: It looks unassuming, but the pizzas are incredibly delicious. The staff was also extremely friendly and accommodating.

17/09/2025: We had the ricotta dumplings as the main dish and the buchtel for dessert. Both were quite heavy, with too much dough overall, which made the meal feel unbalanced.

13/09/2025: A charming, elegant location with a breathtaking view. Excellent food, carefully presented, and each course perfectly balanced! Impeccable service and a very fair bill. We spent €146 for two, including a shared appetizer, two first courses, two second courses, two desserts, and two glasses of wine. Highly recommended if you're in the area.

14/10/2025: Well, there are no words to describe this historic refuge. Everything was excellent!!! We'll definitely be returning.

10/10/2025: This experience was based on the recommendation of the owner of the rental property. The refuge is in a stunning location, surrounded by mountains. The road to get there is a bit narrow and steep, but it's completely paved and easy. The refuge offers Trentino cuisine, all homemade, including wine and liqueurs. The selection of their own cured meats is amazing, as is their Crucolo cheese. A must-try is the Parampa'mpoli liqueur, which you absolutely must try! The value for money is excellent, and I recommend visiting the winery to purchase their products.

02/10/2025: A typical Trentino trattoria, rustic yet welcoming, with friendly staff, convenient parking, and, above all, tasty, generous dishes. Very reasonable prices. Their specialty is superb homemade tortelli.

As soon as we arrived, we were greeted as if we were the most important people in the hotel. It's a shame we can't give more than 5 stars.
