01/10/2025: The entire staff is attentive, helpful, and multilingual. The cuisine is varied and carefully presented. The rooms and common areas are impeccably clean.

19/09/2025: Traveling with celiac disease can be difficult so we decided to plan a trip around a hotel offering meals that cater to gluten free diets. We chose Hotel Villa Madonna in Alto Adige and were extremely happy with our week-long stay. It included gluten free half board meals (breakfast & supper, daily) and a free guest pass permitting free travel on all regional transportation in the area. The property was nice, the room comfortable and very clean, and the view spectacular. The supper offerings were varied and tasty, with a few surprises thrown in, to our delight, and safe - thank you to the chef and kitchen! Everyone on staff, at both the hotel and in the restaurant, was friendly and helpful - it felt like we were leaving a few friends behind by the time we left. Gabriele, Roman, and Lara at the front desk made sure we were looked after - and were ever patient with our mix of beginner Italian and English. Although many fantastic servers looked after us in the dining room, Facundo was our main server, always greeting us with a smile, making sure we were happy with every dish on the table, and sharing tips and experiences from his explorations of the region. We definitely recommend this lovely place.

11/10/2025: I was hoping to return, but no. I was there last August, without a reservation. Breathtaking view overlooking the Serraia lakes and squares; stunning garden (too bad because the weather was bad). Fast service and a friendly owner. Food: excellent orzotto and sublime polenta with stew. I'll be back as soon as I can.

09/10/2025: Highly recommended, a place I visit regularly every time I'm in Trentino. Prices are more than fair. If you order the canederli, order them with butter, as the owner recommended. They're out of this world. I ordered them with ragù because I didn't check first, and I have to say they were sublime even without it. Every time I try a different dish, I've never been disappointed. Top-notch on every level, not to mention the magnificent view from the outdoor terrace.

19/10/2025: A truly relaxing getaway. Very comfortable and modernly furnished rooms with beautiful mountain views. The fresh scent of pine wood fills the air. Excellent food selection and very attentive service, plus a wide range of saunas and baths. Excellent and free public transport connections for the region. Hiking trails start right behind the hotel.

07/10/2025: The hotel presents itself as very classy on the outside, but definitely not 5 star standard. We spent 4 nights at the Lunaris and were more than disappointed. It started with the breakfast buffet, the selection is very limited, there is no variety at all, and the different types of muesli are put out the night before without any covers. On top of that, there are flies everywhere in the entire hotel. The lunch buffet also had very little variety, there is a show kitchen with 3 hot meals and otherwise a small selection of cold cuts and salad, along with the previous evening's dessert and a selection of cakes. The evening meal itself is solid but not outstanding. If there is a dessert buffet, you should get there as early as possible to get anything at all, otherwise by 9:30 p.m. you'll just be left with leftovers that nobody wants. The service is generally very unfriendly and unprofessional, with a few exceptions. The wellness area has enough relaxation rooms and is stylishly furnished. We really liked the infusions and they are a must in our opinion. We liked the Skybar in the wellness area, especially Lukas, who takes care of everything and is super customer-oriented, friendly, and accommodating. We would have liked a bit more variety in the saunas. Our room, the Skysuite, was clean and generally quite good, but the couch was extremely uncomfortable, meaning there was nowhere to sit other than the bed. We really liked the spacious terrace with the whirlpool; there were plenty of places to sit and lie down, but unfortunately, there were no blankets or heaters in the room or on the terrace, which means that even after October, you're very limited and can't really use the terrace. Our conclusion: For the reasons mentioned above, this was our first and last stay at this hotel. We've already tried several comparable hotels in this price category in South Tyrol and have to say that there are significantly better ones for this price range. What a shame!

06/10/2025: A beautiful hotel with a stylish ambiance, attentive and very friendly service, and spacious rooms furnished with high-quality materials. The hotel is a comfortable size and has a fantastic wellness area. The spa is also fantastic; I booked facials twice and was more than satisfied. There are many leisure activities available, and the surrounding area and the entire Ahrntal Valley are simply beautiful.

27/08/2025: My partner and I dined at this restaurant on more than one evening, choosing it as our "Holiday Restaurant." We tried several dishes on the menu, both meat and fish, and were always more than satisfied. Among our favorites were definitely the fresh pappardelle with hand-cut wild boar ragù and the carne salada tartare on a burrata cream with bread leaves and extra virgin olive oil. Tasting the dishes, you can easily appreciate both the quality of the ingredients and the attention the chef pays to the customer. The same attention is also evident in the wait staff, who, without ever being intrusive, ensure that guests always have everything they need. If you come to Arco, you simply must dine here at least once.

24/08/2025: We had a wonderful meal here during our stay at Camping Arco. They had a wide selection of wines and offered helpful advice. The food was also delicious. But we were especially impressed with the friendliness of the staff, who treated us and our baby with a toy. We even gave him toys to play with right away. We returned the next day because we enjoyed it so much!

02/10/2025: I used to come here often for the super delicious sandwiches... But last time I came here specifically, bringing the whole family with the intention of letting them try the famous enormous sandwiches... Only once we were seated and had ordered a drink were we told there weren't any sandwiches... Okay, I can understand that; but customers should have been warned at the beginning! Unfortunately, we left unhappy!

20/10/2025: Highly recommended! Very friendly staff, and even the manager checks in on his guests' satisfaction. All our requests were met!

22/09/2025: After a lovely day in Tirolo, we stopped in with our dog based on the good reviews. The ambiance was appealing, and we found a lovely spot on the beautiful terrace. The friendly staff served us very quickly, and we chose the salmon and spare ribs from the small, but in our opinion perfectly adequate, selection. I enjoyed the wait with a delicious cloudy, smoky slab of beer. The food was (as other guests have already photographed) very lovingly served and tasted absolutely fantastic. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and therefore give it 5 out of 5 stars...highly recommended!

12/10/2025: Our favorite campsite in South Tyrol for many years, beautifully situated... Great tours into the surrounding mountains or to Merano... Great restaurant on site... Friendly owners... We stop here every time... whenever we get a spot...

13/10/2025: We had a very relaxing time at the Drumlerhof! We spent four days at the Drumlerhof and felt completely at home. Starting with the warm welcome, the fantastic breakfast (pancakes 🤤), and the wonderful spa area – the massages are also highly recommended! We would especially like to highlight the family atmosphere, which made our stay even more enjoyable. This also included great recommendations for hikes and places to eat. The food in the restaurant is also truly delicious and leaves little to be desired – including an excellent wine selection and vegetarian options. Thank you for the wonderful time!

10/08/2025: Family-run hotel in a stunning location right in the center of town. The owner is very kind and helpful. The rooms are bright and comfortable. There's also a small spa with a sauna and Turkish bath. The view is enchanting.

09/10/2025: A high-end restaurant located in a very quiet location at the entrance to the historic center. Impeccable service and cuisine, a wide selection of dishes with a good variety, and excellent ingredients, not to be underestimated.

11/09/2025: Unfortunately, it was a terrible experience. The room was nice, but the mattress was so thin that I could feel all the springs on my back when I lay down. We found dog poop in the garden, and we don't have a dog. The room was right next to the exit, and you could hear everyone coming and going at all hours. We'll never return.

22/08/2025: A beautiful restaurant in the heart of Trento, perfect for summer evenings. The outdoor space is huge and charming, nestled in an internal courtyard. The veal with tuna sauce and veal cheek are delicious. The dishes are meticulously prepared, and you can see that passion surpasses hard work. Great attention to detail is evident in both the food and the service. Andrea is available for a pleasant chat during a break. The wine cellar is extensive and very local; we drank an excellent Lagrein at a more than fair price. They're not aiming for a Michelin star, but they could. In my opinion, this is the best restaurant in Trento, hands down, and definitely worth a visit.

21/09/2025: We ate at this refuge with a simply spectacular view of the Pale di San Martino and the Fassa Dolomites. The staff were helpful and friendly, the welcome was wonderful (which, believe me, is not a given in the Fassa Valley...), and the dishes were delicious and authentic. The gnocchi with puzzone cheese and walnuts were especially delicious. Highly recommended, and congratulations! 💯
