29/11/2025: A fantastic experience. I recommend it to groups of locals and tourists alike. The food is exquisite, a true delight for the palate. The atmosphere is simple, at times rustic, yet refined. The waiters are calm and respectful. They were professional, even with my friend who unfortunately has a disability. Thank you for everything.

01/10/2025: The entire staff is attentive, helpful, and multilingual. The cuisine is varied and carefully presented. The rooms and common areas are impeccably clean.

19/09/2025: Traveling with celiac disease can be difficult so we decided to plan a trip around a hotel offering meals that cater to gluten free diets. We chose Hotel Villa Madonna in Alto Adige and were extremely happy with our week-long stay. It included gluten free half board meals (breakfast & supper, daily) and a free guest pass permitting free travel on all regional transportation in the area. The property was nice, the room comfortable and very clean, and the view spectacular. The supper offerings were varied and tasty, with a few surprises thrown in, to our delight, and safe - thank you to the chef and kitchen! Everyone on staff, at both the hotel and in the restaurant, was friendly and helpful - it felt like we were leaving a few friends behind by the time we left. Gabriele, Roman, and Lara at the front desk made sure we were looked after - and were ever patient with our mix of beginner Italian and English. Although many fantastic servers looked after us in the dining room, Facundo was our main server, always greeting us with a smile, making sure we were happy with every dish on the table, and sharing tips and experiences from his explorations of the region. We definitely recommend this lovely place.

21/09/2025: La Telia was hands down the best restaurant we visited during our stay in Italy. We were blown away by the food, especially the pizza which we both agreed was the best we’ve ever had. And as a New Yorker, I do not say that lightly! The burratta was fresh, the pizza crust was flaky. The spaghetti was incredible, creamy and smooth sauce, crispy and salty pancetta. The drinks were strong enough, and fresh with lemon wedges. Our dessert, panna cotta, was very impressive. Smooth and light, fresh with the absolute best raspberries I’ve ever had. The staff were helpful. It would have been nice to have WiFi availability.

15/09/2025: Food was okay, not the best. Was disappointed by the service. The gesture from the female staff seemed "lazy" & not friendly at all. The food portion was relatively smaller than other restaurants. One person from our group was still eating & the staff just cleaned the table without asking if we're finished or not. We asked for salad recommendation and the female staff said "I don't like fish so I don't know" 😂 super weird hospitality. I will not come back for sure.

29/11/2025: I did not stay there (rooms) but I came for lunch , the service, and the view . "The moment you walk in, the captivating ambiance and glorious balcony view mesmerize you, setting the stage for the staircase's utterly astonishing reveal."

22/11/2025: Our group of four enjoyed aperitifs. The house aperitif was delicious. The service was very friendly and attentive, and they brought us blankets since we were sitting outside.

20/11/2025: For me, the most beautiful restaurant in Brixen. The service was perfect, we drank wonderful wines, and the menu was sophisticated. Unfortunately, the portions, for example in the four-course menu, were too small; you don't necessarily feel full. It's a shame they no longer focus on classic South Tyrolean cuisine but have followed current trends. The dishes were very good, but you should definitely feel satisfied for 80 to 100 euros. Overall, though, a great experience.

08/11/2025: A very expensive restaurant with outdated decor. The waiter was very friendly and professional. They had a great wine list with exquisite wines. Due to the poor value for money, we wouldn't return.

02/11/2025: Even after the change of ownership and minimal renovations, the Engels Park remains highly recommended. The prices are naturally on the higher end, but in return, you get a lovely hotel with an indoor pool and a multi-course dinner. Plus, it's just a short walk from the center of Sterzing. Update 2025: Still a charming, well-organized hotel where you can truly relax. Excellent service from the staff, close to the town center, superb food, and a lovely spa area.

26/10/2025: From the extremely attentive staff at reception, in the restaurant, and at breakfast, to the very clean room. Those who get to enjoy dinner in the restaurant are absolutely in luck, as the menu was exceptionally good both evenings. We'd love to come back!

11/08/2025: Stunning view and very good food! Highly recommended the loop: Val Fiscalina – Comici – Cengia – Locatelli – Val Fiscalina, with Rifugio Cengia being the highlight of the loop

06/08/2025: We had the Kaiserschmarrn and the three dumpling variations. Both were delicious, and I can highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

10/11/2025: Excellent campsite just outside Bolzano, with a good bus connection. Quiet. Clean bathroom facilities. Perfect base for visiting Bolzano and Merano.

03/11/2025: I was here with my caravan. I've been here several times before and it's always been great. The restaurant used to be fantastic. Give it another try. There's a cycle path right in front of reception that leads directly to Bolzano. The food here is great. Everything's familiar, nothing new.

07/10/2025: The thick hot chocolate is not very good. It’s more like a regular hot chocolate with some sort of thickener added instead of melted chocolate.

07/12/2025: From the first moment, Alexander makes you feel like you've known him forever. He's friendly, sincere, and always available, a genuine person that's hard to find these days. The apartment is truly spacious and has all the comforts, but the absolute highlight is the breathtaking view. At any hour, you're enchanted by the mountains changing colors throughout the day. The town of Merano seems so far away from you, as if you were looking at it from a plane window. In the evening, it transforms into a whirlwind of moving lights and colors... we could have spent hours just gazing out the windows or from the terrace. The place is immersed in nature and catapults you into a slower, healthier life, based on true principles. In the evening, we ate in their restaurant, an unforgettable experience. Every dish is prepared with what Alexander and his family produce, everything delicious, haute Tyrolean cuisine. One word: THANK YOU

21/10/2025: After a breathtaking and nerve-wracking drive through the vineyards east of Merano, the first thing you need is a drink to enjoy the picturesque view. You can get just that at the Greiterhof. The friendly host, Alexander, welcomes you with open arms and explains how things work on the mountain. This young man specializes in making everything himself, and that is his goal. Almost every bite that ends up on your plate is either homemade or at least from neighboring farms. A special highlight in the South Tyrolean calendar is the annual Törggelen, which, of course, is also offered here. In addition to barley soup, three kinds of meat, and doughnuts, local wine is served. Those who prefer a vegetarian meal should pre-order, as vegetarians are still just as uncommon at Törggelen as a South Tyrolean who speaks fluent Italian. What is particularly remarkable is that the host apparently runs the whole operation single-handedly. From taking your order to cooking, serving, and billing, everything is done with a smile and interspersed with short anecdotes from the life of a mountain farmer. The special hospitality is evident when you're offered a whole jug of schnapps for free. A true gesture of honor, considering the whole thing doesn't cost much.

17/11/2025: We've been skiing there several times and have always felt very comfortable. Breakfast is served from 7:30 am. 🙂

07/10/2025: Sexten is a beautiful town, and this warm, family-run hotel is welcoming and courteous. I recommend booking a half-board so you can try the local specialties and have a wonderful meal. The room was very clean. We visited in the early autumn, and the area is a ski resort in the winter. The bathroom floor was warm and had excellent water pressure. It was a wonderful touch to shower and cool off after hiking. 🥹 Driving yourself is certainly not a problem; the hotel is near a bus stop (flat roads, no slopes). During peak season, buses run for hiking and to nearby towns. If you're physically fit and experienced in hiking, consider hiking up the Rifugio Locatelli in Val Fiscalina, or take the 444 bus. Finally, congratulations on the hotel's 50th anniversary!

25/10/2025: The food was delicious, the portions weren't too large. The fries were nice and crispy and well-salted. For the price, the food is very reasonable, definitely recommended.

21/10/2025: Really good restaurant with cozy, romantic vibes. I ate the pasta with shrimp which was great, but the pizza and fries were great too. Staff was nice.
