08/03/2025: Another very memorable place that we Highly recommendable!!! The best thing is that some of our best food experiences are by stumbling upon them. The waiter said initially no table available but he noticed our disappointment! He said if you can be done by 8 PM ( 1.5 hour dinner) he could get us tables. We said no problem. We all were mesmerized by the view. The setting was great, food delicious the wine was great as well. Overall a fantastic place to eat. Also the restaurant on the inside provides great ambiance. By the time we finished it was 9 PM, nobody rushed us. If I’m back here again, I will stop here to eat!!! Sorry no good photos of our dishes.

12/01/2025: What a beautiful setting with a stunning view. We ate at Le Vecchie Mura on out trip to San Gimignano in October. We had the porcini mushroom pasta and the truffle carbonara. Both the dishes were delicious. It was a beautiful night and so nice to be able to sit outside with a wonderful view. If you are going to be in San Gimignano, it is definitely worth it. Hard to find a better setting.

15/11/2024: Normalmente no escribo reseñas, pero estoy muy feliz de haber almorzado aquí. Quería alejarme de las tiendas turísticas para almorzar y estoy encantado de haberlo hecho. No solo son hermosos los bocadillos, sino que Gianfranco fue un placer. Era amable, servicial y divertido. Incluso con mi falta de italiano me hizo reír. Grazie Mille Gianfranco

13/11/2024: Ciao Franco, Sei stato una piacevolissima sorpresa. Hai ragione, Tiziano ha dovuto convincermi per entrare ma sono davvero contenta di aver accettato. Il locale é molto piccolo ma pieno di amore e simpatia. Franco é il cuore del locale, entrare é come bere un bicchiere di vino in famiglia. I prodotti locali sono di altissima qualità, assaggiarli é un esperienza. Entrate in questo posto e preparatevi a vivere un viaggio. Non so spiegarvi le emozioni ma ogni sorso di vino ed ogni boccone vi faranno emozionare. Sopratutto la conoscenza di Gianfranco é qualcosa che non potrete dimenticare. Abbiamo trovato il nostro posto del cuore e torneremo sicuramente. Ricordati di noi, ti chiameremo per le bomboniere. Un abbraccio, Tiziano e Jessica da Genova.

06/01/2025: We were celebrating a birthday and it was the best place we could have found. Since it was winter, we stayed in the indoor part, where there is a bar and enough space to eat comfortably and dance. Maximum availability on the part of all the staff, to fulfill all our requests, both before and during the evening. Everything perfect. Thanks to all of you and congratulations for what you do and above all how you are doing it 👏👏👏👏👏

19/01/2025: It's a beautiful restaurant! We went for the first time with my girlfriend on February 14, 2024, we came to visit San Gimignano and we found this fantastic restaurant! We have never tried anything like it, every dish is so delicious, the combination of flavors is so special, we really liked it! All starters, first courses, second courses, are delicious! We took the tasting menu and tasted almost everything. So good liver pâté, pasta with white cinta senese ragù, also onion pie with salted butter ice cream and parmesan sauce was delicious, the combination of flavors is amazing! Besides the delicious food, the service is great, the waiters are very friendly, we were very happy. And after in September we returned to this restaurant, because after another time this restaurant has become our favorite and the most delicious!

01/01/2025: The truffle carbonara was good but lacked some of the intense flavor I would expect from this dish given the presence of pecorino and bacon. The gorgonzola flan on the other hand was exactly what I expected when ordering a gorgonzola flan. Compliments to the chef who has worked there since 1982.

27/02/2025: Nice negonri if you are sick of wine, and the people are friendly. Seems very local and always with a good amount of people so you feel a hug.the wine is also good

23/02/2025: Super tasty pizza and pasta. The cacio e pepe and the carbonara are especially recommended. The servers were very friendly. We requested that they prepare the food as quickly as possible as we were in a hurry. The food was on the table within 15 minutes (for 5 people)!👍

02/01/2025: Out of town because outside the walls of the village of San Gimignano. The food is very good and finally something on the menu that isn't just peposo, wild boar and other things of this purely Tuscan kind, sometimes you also need to diversify. Here I found some good first courses with well-cooked fish (al dente) and a light pizza with excellent leavening and cooking. The place is not traditional in its furnishings but pleasant and intimate.

03/03/2025: Without infamy and without praise… nothing that stood out for taste or appearance. It's a shame because the place looks good and the service is very good. In the kitchen, however, a little more panache wouldn't hurt.

27/02/2025: We were in the Italian winter with my partner, end of February, few places open for lunch. We arrived after 2:00 p.m. and they welcomed us luxuriously in the place with the ideal temperature to counteract the cold outside. We ate 10 and they served us better. The girl and the person in charge of the place were a sweetheart. I highly suggest the vegetable soup, if I remember correctly Tuscany soup or something like that, and the cannoli they make there. For the first time I had the pleasure of trying that typical Italian dessert that is not always offered in places to eat.
