15/08/2024: We are 2 tourists looking for local delicacies and we are happy we came here because the place was what we expected to find. Fair prices, we took a large platter full of cured meats and cheeses, each one unique and delicious. It was truly a unique experience of flavours, enriched by the cordial welcome of Sami, a very knowledgeable boy who explains the products to us with such passion that it makes me doubt whether he is the owner. Even having a chat with him was very pleasant, making the experience absolutely sublime. Fair prices, I recommend hands down.

10/08/2024: While passing through Tuscany, we visited San Gimignano, a real gem, where we decided to spend the evening. It was by chance that we walked through the door of Vecchie Mura and what a lovely surprise. The staff is very friendly, the food excellent and the atmosphere exceptional with a breathtaking view of the Tuscan landscape! I highly recommend! Thank you to the whole team for this delicious moment!

10/08/2024: In summer, and even more so with the heat, you want to go to dinner later, after 8 or 9 p.m.... in the fresh air. They close at 9:30 p.m.…. They do not have schedules appropriate to the circumstances of tourism. Much better to have dinner later in the Plaza de la Cistera (it has more suitable times)

08/08/2024: Good place to eat something on the go. There is a place to sit but it is small and hot.

25/07/2024: The focaccias are so delicious! You have vegetarian options and also a plenty of meat. The truffle cream is insane. Can recommend 100%. One focaccia is more then enough for one person and also really friendly service.

After months of preparation and telephone contacts with the very kind Mrs. Azzurra we were guests at this structure located a few kilometers from San Gimignano. What can I say? LOVELY, both the location and the quality of the food and the guys at the service (all courteous and helpful). A big thank you as I was saying to Azzurra, Matia, Denis and really everyone for their excellent work! If you want a quality and well-being stay, Villa Ducci is definitely the right place. 16/05/2024: Go to Francy and start immediately in pole position. Excellent location, private parking, tastefully furnished rooms with all possible comforts. The welcome from his family is incredible and everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail. After the first night and breakfast with an incredible view of San Gimignano... we understood why it is a winning place. 13/05/2024: Great host. Great breakfast. Homemade cakes, toast, cereal, fruit etc. every day. Tips for excursions. Pasta course possible. Very large, clean rooms. Terrace and garden with views of San Gimignano. Coffee, wine or snacks etc can be purchased on site. Francesca and her family fulfill all wishes with their warm manner.

20/08/2024: We went in after booking because of the many positive reviews. Unfortunately, as there was no room outside, they let us sit inside, but the heat was unbearable for me, after a quick look at the menu and seeing that for a 66cl Moretti they were asking €7. we're gone. The kind waiter offered to keep us 2 tables outside, but in the end we opted for something else...

18/08/2024: The pilgrim's menu caught my attention and in between, the truffle pasta was good but a little dry, but I didn't like the margherita pizza at all, it didn't have much chichi, to be honest. The lady who served me was a little dry and what made me feel the worst was that they would charge me €5 for a bottle of beer. I wouldn't go back.

19/08/2024: Today I went for an aperitif in this wine shop in the center of San Gimignano, encouraged by the excellent reviews of the place. Starting from the fact that I understand that we are in a historic center and you also have to pay for this, we were very disappointed by the prices (clearly visible on the menu). We ordered 2 glasses of wine (€648), a platter of Tuscan cold cuts (€17) and some bread which we were charged €2.50. The quality of what we ate and drank is undoubted but spending €33.50 for so few products is a robbery. The cost of the wines is also in line but €17 for 11 slices of cold cuts is absolutely crazy. Not to mention the bread at €2.50 which was also a little old and on such a high cost ""chopping board"" it should be included. So the 3 stars go to the quality of the products but the quantity/price ratio absolutely needs to be reviewed.

15/08/2024: Some of the best meats and cheeses I've ever eaten, not to mention the panzanella. Fantastic. Super affordable prices given the quantity and above all the quality. 5 well-deserved stars, congratulations to the mother, real home cooking
