Pietro paglioli was the most entertaining and knowledgeable host and made us feel at home. We will be back certainly. Can’t recommend this winery enough! Grazie mille!

04/01/2026: Stop for lunch at this super little place! Delicious schiacciata, nice and crispy, hot, and made with excellent ingredients. The waiters were super fast, knowledgeable, kind, and smiling! We were able to eat inside, but if you prefer, you can easily eat while strolling through the central streets of San Gimignano. The restaurant overlooks the main square.

07/01/2026: Mandrake is a plant that's extremely toxic to humans. This restaurant, however, contrary to its name, offers dishes of great flavor and exquisite craftsmanship. I began my dining experience here with the classic finocchiona, which I normally don't finish because I find it very fatty; but with the one offered by La Mandragola, I would have gladly had a second helping (and that says it all!) I then continued with a soup of "vegetables, farro, and beans," which was exquisite as well as delicate, so much so that I didn't feel any of the heaviness that often occurs with this type of dish. A place of informal elegance, warm, welcoming, immaculately clean, and with a wonderful garden where, in the warmer months, not only the materiality of "taste" but also the spirituality of "sight" are satisfied. Efficient and professional wait staff; more than decent wine list. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

02/01/2026: A delightful and unique inn, slightly off the main drag. The pizza is excellent, as are the appetizers, ribollita, and chicken cacciatore. Definitely worth a try.

30/12/2025: This restaurant is located in Piazza Sant'Agostino, slightly outside the busier center. You can eat outside in the sun on a nice day. The first courses are excellent, especially tagliatelle with ragu and pappardelle with wild boar. The tiramisu is also fantastic, and my kids loved it. Highly recommended!

31/01/2026: Maybe it was just an unlucky batch, but our pizza was absolutely unsatisfactory, it was a pita and not a pizza: dense, dry and completely tasteless. The quality of the tomato and mozzarella was also low. The location is nice though.

10/01/2026: This place never disappoints, both in terms of cuisine and hospitality. The seafood dishes are expertly prepared, the food is good and delicious, and the wine selection is excellent. But what's most impressive is how each guest is treated individually, as if they were unique, thanks to the constant, yet never intrusive, presence of the hostess and the wait staff. Thanks to Chef Lello, who is excellent, and who carefully selected the waiter. I unfortunately don't remember his name, but I thank him for his attentiveness, professionalism, and kindness. 25/11/2025: An unforgettable dinner. Excellent food quality and preparation, interesting and balanced combinations of ingredients, and a very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Prices are reasonable considering the quality offered. Service is informal but attentive.

23/11/2025: The restaurant is located near San Gimignano. Gourmet cuisine created with Tuscan influences. We can prepare simple dishes for small children, such as short pasta in white sauce, with tomato sauce, or with ragù. Clean and spacious environment.

31/10/2025: We were here in August, and I often think back to how wonderful it was! We received so many compliments and would definitely recommend it. We'd love to come back again.
