15/12/2025: This place is a gem. Discovered by chance, we found ourselves in a pleasant atmosphere enjoying excellent cuisine.
Everything is homemade, from the bread to the mayonnaise, using local ingredients. The staff is welcoming and pleasant.

The two owners are delightful people: friendly, welcoming, and always ready for a chat, which makes the atmosphere even more pleasant.
The ingredients are all fresh and locally sourced, and you can taste it: every sandwich is carefully prepared, tasty, and meticulously prepared.
A place we'll definitely return to—quality, friendliness, and authenticity are the hallmarks!

The only flaw: the wait. Almost two hours at the table, with more than a hour spent waiting for our dishes (8 crostoni).
Despite this, the staff was very friendly and recommended if it wasn't too crowded.
01/06/2026: A good place with a good quality/price ratio. Located on a side street off the main street in the historic center. The menu isn't extensive, but it's more than adequate.

01/02/2026: What struck me most was the staff's extreme courtesy, politeness, kindness, and attentiveness. The location, too, deserves a 10/10, where peace and tranquility reign supreme amidst the green Tuscan hills. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, and the rooms were spotlessly clean, with absolutely everything you could possibly need! Highly recommended!

The breakfast is delicious, and there's a wide variety of desserts.
The homemade cakes are all delicious.
I had dinner at a Michelin-starred restaurant,
and the prices were reasonable, the atmosphere was great, and the staff were friendly.
The room was in great condition. The Cypress Road access road to the hotel was also fantastic!

03/05/2026: Terrible experience overall, both in terms of quality and service, with an ignorant and rude owner. Frozen, almost mummified croissants were displayed for €1.40 each. We ordered two, plus a cappuccino and a coffee. I'm attaching a receipt to prove the price increase at the register, justified by the "table service." The insult? We brought everything to our table ourselves, and eating at the counter is impossible.
They deserve to close down, for the "service" they provide to their unfortunate customers and for the damage they've done to Italian restaurants.
P.S. In a REAL pastry shop just a few steps away, excellent breakfast at a fair price!
02/05/2026: The lasagna did not have any ragu bolognese inside just bechamel and pasta and was cold on the inside.

This restaurant perfectly embodies the essence of Italian cuisine: simple recipes, but with high-quality ingredients and impeccable proportions.
I had a selection of bruschetta as a starter, homemade pasta with duck ragù as a main course, and tiramisu for dessert. It was a delight.
The estate's wine is incredible and very reasonably priced for its quality (€16 a bottle!). It complements the local cuisine beautifully. A great place to eat if you're ever in the San Gimignano area.

09/06/2026: Not great. Food was average, ordered a margherita pizza and it was basically a regular pizza with a ton of cheese on top, like a 4 cheese type of pizza. I’d make a better one at home. Service was quite bad too, asked for the possibility of a small side salad and were served a big salad from the menu (15 euros), we didn’t eat it and they accepted to take it back. Then 2 times they got tables wrong for the orders and brought us things we didn’t order, which is ok but .. 2 times.. so all in all would not recommend.
06/06/2026: Great atmosphere, tables in quiet street or large beautiful dining room. Our server was fantastic, good sense of humour, understood English too. Portions very big, not overly fancy presentation but very good home cooked food. Good wine selection and reasonable prices, we would definitely go back.

12/05/2026: A pleasant surprise in the back streets of San Gimignano. It offers traditional dishes, very well prepared. The place is small, so it's best to book in advance, but it's definitely worth a try. The owner is very kind, and the service is attentive and prompt. The ingredients used are excellent, and the value is excellent. If you stop here for a snack, I recommend trying the lampredotto sandwich; it's truly delicious. Highly recommended.

26/09/2025: We each paid €45, a group of 17 people, and received poor service in terms of wine, appetizers, and main course. The dessert also fell short of our expectations. It's not worth it! Tiny portions. The total portions didn't even amount to a glass of wine. Completely disappointed.
