24/03/2025: The attendant/service was friendly, but paying 14 euros for pasta heated in the microwave is not right. The lasagna is also heated in the microwave. This is disrespectful to the customer and to Italian cuisine.

24/03/2025: Trap for foreign tourists. The service is friendly, the cold cuts are good, but I realized I had screwed up when I saw the preparation of the first courses (pici and lasagna). The restaurant has no kitchen, and the first courses are pre-cooked food from the supermarket, heated in the microwave and then transferred from the plastic tray to a nice plate and voilà, €14 per portion. Avoid, it makes Italian cuisine look bad.

19/03/2025: I had the beef stew which was spiced with really fresh peppercorns, though the meat could have been more tender. The marrow bone is nice and tender. The tiramisu is great! We were served a lovely digestif at the end of the meal.

10/03/2025: CASH ONLY!!!! CASH ONLY!!!!! CASH ONLY!!!!! Please be aware, this is a cash only restaurant. There are no signs that will tell you otherwise. Owner was very nice and the food was great. Just make sure you have cash or a debit card to grab some out of the atm down the street

03/11/2024: Sembrava un'ottima pasticceria alla vista ma una bella fregatura x il palato, probabilmente non gli interessa molto vista l affluenza di gente sempre diversa che entra nel locale. Ho preso una torta alla crema pasticcera veramente orribile, sapeva completamente di farina, la peggior crema mangiata in un luogo dove la crema dovrebbe esser il cavallo di battaglia, una tra le prime cose che impara un pasticcere. Tra l altro pagata 6 euro, troppo cara x la qualità. Anche il ginseng era salvato.

03/11/2024: Abbiamo fatto colazione curiosando per San Gimignano e siamo stati travolti dai sapori dei prodotti e dalla bellezza della signora Marcella che mentre sfornava orgogliosa il Pan dei Morti, parlava e scherzava con staff e clienti! Spettacolare!

19/02/2025: The view from the balcony of the room is so beautiful! You can take a good look at it when you wake up in the morning😊The room is quite spacious and the breakfast is delicious. It is highly recommended to stay here👍

08/02/2025: Truly unique experience, for a hoped-for unforgettable end of 2013! The offer (for €800) consists of two nights for two people, one access each to the spa, a massage and the "dinner". Really friendly and helpful staff but that's it. Hot water at 6pm already exhausted and... no shower! The broken hairdryer, the safe not working. And then confusion in spa appointments. The best (the worst) comes with the New Year's Eve dinner, really poor quality. Some portions (crusted fillet, cotechino and lentils) served COLD! In addition to the hotel guests, there is also local fauna present with endless splashes of sparkling wine... sorry prosecco from Asti, on the ladies' outfit... And the next day (1.1.2014) no breakfast, brunch is a must.... For €400 per day per couple.... STRONGLY NOT RECOMMENDED
