20/08/2024: We walked into San Gimignano early and saw this welcoming cafe just inside the walls. The croissants looked delicious so the five of us sat at a table outside and enjoyed them. Two of us had coffees. The staff were friendly and helpful, the range of pastries and savouries excellent and the prices very reasonable. Clean toilet too. Hence we returned here for a delicious light lunch of toasted paninis followed by a coffee and a melt in the mouth fruit tart Recommended.

08/08/2024: Gateaux et biscuits traditionnels de Toscane, ne vous plaignez pas de ne pas rouver un tiramisu qui ne vous convient pas. Excellentes patisseries faites avec des ingrédients naturels, biscuits secs delicieux, recette anciennes. Plein d'amandes, beurre, meringue, miel, etc.... Les Ricciarelli sont une tuerie tellemtn ils sont bons

23/05/2024: What a beautiful countryside. Dining option was amazing. So very relaxing with great food and wine. Such a slow pace compared to cities.

25/04/2024: This was a wonderful recommendation made to us by friends- a unique experience in Tuscany. From the moment we arrived the experience was memorable. The accommodations were comfortable and quaint, the views from around the property were amazing and the food and wine were delicious! If you stay here be sure to make a dinner reservation at least 1 night of your stay- a menu crafted from ingredients on the farm- simply amazing.

15/08/2024: Negative experience. Pici cacio e pepe, no cheese and a lot of pepper, made incorrectly. Prices too high. Then they say about Venice!

15/08/2024: We stayed at this hotel for one night to see San Gimignano. The location of the hotel is very good and there is a small parking lot right in front of the house. This is where the positive things end for us. We booked a deluxe double room, which turned out to be a very simple room. The bathroom is really in need of renovation, very small and not very clean. Shower dimensions 60x60 cm. The cistern hangs under the ceiling and takes about 30 minutes to fill up again. The air conditioning is absolutely not sufficient for the room. We wouldn't book here again.

05/08/2024: Being celiac, my daughter and I had lunch with their fabulous gluten-free crepes, both sweet and savory, two days in a row!! Two really kind people, they also recommended a great restaurant for dinner! If you find yourself in San Gimignano, you must stop in this wonderful little place, for a crepes, a sweet bubble tea or a very fresh frozen yogurt

02/08/2024: Excited that in the middle of such beautiful San Gimignano you can find delicious gluten-free pancakes in a salty or sweet version. In addition, gluten-free bubble tea and a lot of other things. My daughter was delighted with the hot dog pancakes 😋😋😍😍🤗 ready in a moment.

12/02/2024: Personale accogliente, cortese e molto professionale. Locale elegante, con alcuni dettagli che rovinano la bellezza del posto (tanti ventilatori, che immagino necessari nel periodo estivo). Piatti molto curati: noi abbiamo preso una tagliata che si scioglieva in bocca, ma i cappellacci niente di eccezionale. Per concludere un tiramisù che ci ha lasciato l’amaro in bocca. Conto alto rispetto a quanto mangiato.

27/08/2024: My husband and I booked a private cooking class and wine tasting at Podere La Marronaia while traveling through Tuscany. It was one of our most favorite parts of our 2-week+ trip! Leonardo, our chef/instructor taught us how to make several types of pasta and tiramisu. He was exceptional! And the wine pairing/tasting with Adriano was an awesome experience! We will definitely do this again!!

25/08/2024: Not what I expected. The place was near a big road so you could hear the cars driving by at high speeds, the tables are on oak barrels which are too high to sit at and too low to stand. We had a swarm of bees come to the table and the waiters did nothing except apologize. The appetizers they brought were dry, and pasta was better, but there was a lot to be desired. The cherry on top was the owner who told us we couldn’t get our money back for booking 4 people for the tasting when it was two kids and two adults. ( we had specified it in the notes, someone should have notified us of the mistake. BEFORE the visit). So I ended up paying for a wine tasting for 4. They did not even offer a free bottle of evoo for God’s sake. We have travelled the world and had many wine tastings, this one needed a lot more improvement. The quality of the wine was average at best. I don’t recommend. Save your money and time and try another place.

05/08/2024: From the impeccable quality on the plate to the very soothing timeless decoration, everything was perfect. The portions are generous without being too generous, the service was very good, with smiling staff who even offered a digestive at the end. I recommend this experience which will make you love Tuscany and its flavors a little more! ☺️

07/08/2024: Excellent pastry shop in San Gimignano. Home made products from candied oranges to panforte and ricciarelli, very littel additives, all very tasty and fresh. Welcoming staff too!

06/08/2024: Regrettable. DO NOT ENTER. A tourist trap. They do not have the prices published and they try to charge you more (2 coffees and 2 buns 15 euros). I complained and they returned part of the money, but intentionality is evident when when giving you the note they cut off the details of what was consumed so that you cannot verify anything.

28/07/2024: Unfortunately the information they give on the phone does not correspond to the reality of the facts, on the phone they said one price and then in reality another was paid, at least the correctness in saying the prices. For that exorbitant price I would have chosen a more adequate structure.

22/07/2024: Extremely shocked at the terrible customer service we experienced at this accommodation. Would not recommend based on that alone (although it was also extremely overpriced). Such a shame when the rest of our Italy holiday was so hospital at other hotels. And the “fitness centre” stunk of mould and chlorine. It’s under ground and contained one set of weights.

03/09/2024: Horrible. Stringy, horrible, inedible wild boar meat. The saffron gnocchi sauce was poor, probably from the supermarket.

17/06/2024: Bar/Pasticceria consigliato da mia cugina. Brioches e cornetti non male, locale piccolino con possibilità di sedersi anche all'esterno. Do 3 punti perché si fa mola fatica a trovare parcheggio (Come in tutta San Gimignano) e poi perché il ragazzo che ci ha servito doveva ancora svegliarsi. Prezzi nella norma. P.s. Stiamo ancora aspettando un po' d'acqua prima del caffè!

23/05/2024: Proprio fuori dalle mure del borgo si trova questa pasticceria dove si può gustare un’ottima colazione ed un buonissimo caffè! Consiglio le brioches…
