28/11/2023: beautiful, welcoming, quaint and very clean room. We met for lunch with friends, we started with a mixed platter of cold cuts and cheeses and an excellent prosecco, followed by a nice plate of pici with Chianina ragù and a fillet with green pepper with a very tasty sauce, all accompanied by an excellent red from the area.

26/11/2023: Passing through San Gimignano, we found this place on the internet, booked and had lunch for 6. Excellent food (we also requested an off-menu pappardelle with wild boar and they were truly spectacular!), very kind staff, a truly beautiful place. Absolutely honest prices. Highly recommended!

31/03/2024: Trip to San Gimignano we stopped for a coffee in this patisserie we found ourselves faced with an explosion of confectionery delights, we tasted the classic and chocolate ricciarelli accompanied by an eight coffee if we want to find a flaw in the caffè macchiato the milk was cold. I would say that anyone passing through San Gimignano is obligatory for a visit 💯🔝👍

26/03/2024: Regrettable. DO NOT ENTER. A tourist trap. They don't have the prices published and they try to charge you more (2 coffees and pastries 15 euros). I complained and they returned part of the money, but intentionality is evident when when giving you the note they cut off the details of what was consumed so that you cannot verify anything.

21/02/2024: Personale gentile, sopratutto il signore che gira per i tavoli. Il posto bello sopratutto mangiare fuori con vista sulle colline sulle colline è molto rilassante. siamo stati a pranzo attirati dalle ottime recensioni. Menu fisso di 34 euro. - tagliere con formaggi e bruschette. Le bruschette semplicemente con olio e origano, non aveva nulla di sfizioso. Ne sott’oli, ne un crostino con qualche salsa, ne pomodoro sulle bruschette. Niente! Scarso. - scelta tra 2 primi pasta al ragù e pasta con zafferano e panna. Semplice. Nulla di che - teglia con fette di arrosto con patate. - panna cotta finita, torta di mele insignificante - vino proposto era da tavola, vino base Mi spiace ma 34 euro non mi sembra così poco x quello che ci hanno offerto. questo è un menù da trattoria per i camionisti a 12 euro. Io davvero non capisco tutte queste recensioni positive. Saranno fatte prevalentemente da turisti stranieri. Mi sembrava una fabbrica di turisti!

06/01/2024: Veramente una location come se fossi a casa mia... Camino acceso.... Tavolate... Mangiare super super buono e delicato.... Proprietario e camerieri bravissimi... Posto incantevole Ci ritorneremo Ci hanno regalato due bottiglie di vino, grazie di cuore per tutto.

27/11/2023: Io e la mia famiglia siamo clienti abituali di questa pasticceria e, ieri sera, ci è capitato di assaggiare come dolce il bauletto al pistacchio e, che dire, un dolce buonissimo che si sposa molto bene con il quasi clima natalizio a cui stiamo andando incontro. Ha una consistenza molto morbida dentro e, in più, quando lo porti via, ti danno anche una sac à poche pienissima di crema al pistacchio da aggiungere successivamente a casa. Vi consiglio di farci un salto, qualora foste in zona, perché è una pasticceria che merita davvero tanto e poi offrono una serie di dolci che sono uno più buono dell'altro (e questo lo dico per certo, perché con il passare del tempo abbiamo avuto modo di provarne tantissimi 😌).

13/10/2023: Beautiful place located on a hill which can be accessed along a beautiful avenue of cypress trees just a few minutes from San Gimignano. It is an old renovated farmhouse where you can sleep and have breakfast. It is also possible to taste their wines and the oil they produce directly on the farm, which can be reached via a dirt road. Welcoming and quiet, excellent for those who want to visit this part of Tuscany while remaining out of the confusion. Recommended

04/10/2023: We came to spend the night with the campervan. Extremely friendly staff! They also speak English. No option for dinner, so be prepared. Tasting and appetizer board very tasty, but really expensive for what it was. Breakfast very extensive and not expensive. It's super cozy there!

06/04/2024: Nice restaurant on the beautiful and relatively quiet Piazza Sant'Agostino; for a coffee, a drink or to have a bite to eat.

01/04/2024: Very nice location, good dishes as well as the wine offered. The only flaw is the owner... it seems to annoy her to be there.

28/03/2024: It’s looks like a very good place to have a good time. But! If you really want to go in there, prepare yourself for the most unfriendly people ever. You are not allowed to sit there and have a drink. You won't be served at first and then "thrown out" with the words "go next door" - that's where "drunks" are in good hands. So, if you fancy an uncomfortable evening with very harsh and pissy staff, you're in good hands here.

16/03/2024: In questo ristorante si respira sempre aria di casa, l'atmosfera romantica accompagnata ai sapori unici della cucina toscana non possono che lasciarti incantato e con la voglia di tornare ancora. A pochi passi da San Gimignano è il posto perfetto per chi vuole passare una serata rilassante e gustare del buon cibo in una location davvero unica. Provate e vi innamorerete di questo posto.

08/05/2024: Recently renovated hotel with large rooms. Beautiful view of the valley from one side. Delicious breakfasts and friendly service. Part of the hotel under renovation in 2024. Approx. 20 minutes walk from San Gimignano.

27/09/2023: Degli amici diversi anni fa ci fecero conoscere Casa alle Vacche e da allora è diventato per noi un luogo del cuore dove tornare con una certa frequenza. Lo consigliamo assolutamente per la qualità del cibo e dei vini e, non meno importante, per la cura e l'attenzione con cui lo staff accoglie la sua clientela. Ci siamo tornati domenica per festeggiare il nostro anniversario e non potevamo stare meglio di così. Da provare per poi non smettere mai!

01/05/2024: We ate there for lunch with friends, a treat… each dish was delicious, special mention for the spinach ricotta gnocchi and the tiramisu. A warm welcome, and a magnificent room with a superb view.
