17/05/2026: Very friendly staff. They offered my pregnant wife a pillow for under her chair to sit comfortable and did make our diner comfortable. The pasta, wine and coffee were very good.

10/05/2026: We had the absolute best experience. We only had one hour in San Gimigiano and chose to wine and cheese taste. It was a rainy day and we still had the most magical experience. We tried cheeses, meats, bread and balsamic and asked for the connoisseur to pick out our wines. Everything was incredible!! We will absolutely come back.

03/05/2026: We wanted to try a local schiacciata, so we stopped at this small, seemingly inviting place... but it didn't take long to change our minds. The service was awful. We asked for a schiacciata with ham and pecorino cheese, and the lady grabbed a pre-made schiacciata from the counter (which must have been there a couple of hours, given the color of the ham). She simply added the pecorino cheese, and we kindly asked to split it and heat it up. The lady refused to heat the schiacciata for us, saying it wouldn't burn itself, and that since she'd already split it, the fryer would get dirty. That's all there is to it. I wouldn't go back.

23/04/2026: We live near Napa and have been to hundreds of wineries. This was perhaps the best experience I’ve ever had. The setting is spectacular - a sweeping view of the Tuscan countryside. The entire operation is run by the family - warm, genuine, knowledgeable and simply lovely. Every single detail is thought of from olive oil tasting glass to the balsamic tasting spoon and the food bites to the history of the winery and Tuscan winemaking. The tasting host was perfection - knowledgeable and authentic. The wines, olive oils and balsamic vinegars were unique and excellent! We shipped a bunch home. A MUST stop if you are in Tuscany. (And the vineyard dogs are so cute!)

18/05/2026: We were there last night for my wife's birthday. A beautiful historic restaurant with panoramic terraces, located in one of the most beautiful squares in the world. Chef Giovanni delighted us with a welcome aperitif and a truly delicious mixed antipasti platter. Followed by top-notch gourmet pizzas...I think the best I've ever tasted...top-notch ingredients and expert craftsmanship. The "Giovanni" pizza is a must-try...delicious. 5 stars are not enough...highly recommended!!!

15/06/2025: Buena ubicación. servicio razonable. muy ruidoso. comida mediocre. tenía costillas de cerdo que eran posiblemente las peores que he comido. embutidos italianos estaban bien, pero nada más allá de lo que uno compraría en un supermercado. la t - hueso / fiorentina también era apenas mediocre y yo diría que es un insulto al nombre del plato Mejor prueba algo menos turístico

12/06/2025: La vista era la mejor que había tenido en un restaurante! Solicite una mesa junto a la ventana al hacer su reserva o llegue temprano, espere afuera junto a la puerta principal y luego corra y tome una mesa junto a la ventana. La comida era buena pero no excepcional. Lo que no me gustó fue que no pudimos elegir el tamaño de nuestra bistecca toscana. Nos enseñaron un trozo de carne y cuando le dije a la camarera que era demasiado grande para nosotros, ella dijo que era eso. Así que, por supuesto, era demasiado grande para nosotros y terminamos dejando un montón de carne muy cara en nuestros platos.

06/04/2026: Quite disappointed. My dad noticed that the waiter served us leftover food that had already been stacked up, which was really off-putting. I don’t understand why it was still given to us. We also ordered steak, but we weren’t provided with steak knives, so it was difficult to cut and enjoy the dish. The cacio e pepe and mushroom pasta (forgot the name) were also overly salty even my Italian-Filipina grandma found it too salty, and we couldn’t finish it. Honestly, I wouldn’t come back. :(

A special thanks goes to Augusto: extremely helpful, present but never intrusive, always ready to find a solution and offer helpful advice on how to best experience the resort and its surroundings. You can tell when someone is passionate about their job, and with him, hospitality isn't a "procedure," it's a way of life. Thanks to his suggestions, we organized our days perfectly and felt truly cared for. In short, an experience beyond expectations: tranquility, attentiveness, and a service that makes you want to return. If you're looking for a place to truly relax, you're in luck.

01/05/2026: Good morning, We just got robbed: 1 cappuccino, 1 coffee, and 2 croissants (not good) for the modest sum of €11.80. After asking for clarification on the price, they said they pay €8,000 in rent and asked me where I'm from... I come from a tourist town like theirs, maybe even better, where the prices are fair. Places like this are the shame and ruin of honest Italy. If I were them, I'd be ashamed. I sincerely hope they use this money of mine to buy medicine. Dirty place with obviously unprofessional staff. How sad. I

04/05/2026: There were two of us. We were seated inside. We ordered water, a beer, a mixed salad, and a pizza. After waiting 45 minutes, I asked a waiter, and he said he didn't know what was going on. After an hour, I spoke to another waiter who told me they were very busy. It's incomprehensible that we had to wait an hour for a pizza and a salad. I don't recommend it.

26/04/2026: We stopped for a casual dinner; the atmosphere and view were very nice. Service was average, and the wait was a bit long. ABSOLUTELY AVOID THE MIXED GRILLED MEAT PLATE. €25 for half a sausage, a third of a pork steak, a chicken leg, and two tiny ribs, accompanied by grilled vegetables. Calling it a grilled meat is a joke!
