01/10/2025: I had a lovely dinner at this restaurant with my husband. I had heard great things about it, and I have to say that the dinner—or rather, the experience—exceeded my expectations. It's hard to describe the explosion (literally) of flavors in every course. Flavors and combinations, sometimes unusual, but always perfect! Everything was excellent! The service was also excellent, impeccable in its attention to detail and attentiveness! The atmosphere was elegant yet warm! You'd expect a place like this in Milan or London—a real gem in the heart of San Miniato. Compliments to the chef! It's truly on another level! We'll be back.

26/10/2025: We went there today on the recommendation of a friend. It's a lovely place, small but well-located (even in summer, with tables outside), and tastefully decorated, with many paintings, clocks, an old telephone, and modern antiques (even the bathroom is beautiful). The service is excellent, and the dishes are delicious, varied, and plentiful. The price is fair, in line with the quality of the food. I'm happy
to have celebrated my birthday there.

07/11/2025: No visit to Volterra is complete without trying one of these panini. They are traditionally made with great care and attention to detail. The selection is so vast that it's hard to choose.
It would be interesting to know how many decades this panini shop has been here.
26/10/2025: Great sandwiches at reasonable prices. You can choose from a selection of pre-made options or create your own. The staff is friendly and eager to help you choose the ingredients. A basic understanding of Italian definitely helped, but it wasn't necessary, as the staff was helpful to everyone. :) I recommend it.

04/11/2025: I was in the region with my father, and after 15 years we absolutely wanted to return to this restaurant, as we always remembered it as wonderful. And after 15 years, it's still excellent, and the food is of high quality. The value for money is right, and the service is excellent and very friendly. The view, the atmosphere, the food—simply perfect. One of our favorite restaurants in Tuscany, if not our absolute favorite. We will definitely come again; it's highly recommended, simply unique!

The restaurant was one off the highlights of the trip for us, so excellent. The food was amazing, the service was great and the view was put of this world
We had lunch there- the gnocchi was amazing, and the wild boar pasta was so delicious. Even the kids pasta with ragout was delicious.
I would definitely recommend.

02/12/2025: Place recommended by locals... and I immediately understood why, seeing a restaurant so crowded on a Tuesday night can only mean that you're playing it safe!! 🙌 Delicious and refined menus, exquisite and abundant dishes!! I love wandering around the various places but I think that the place, the dishes and above all the managers deserve a visit from time to time 🤤 the "framcesina" will remain in my heart 🤣🤣 as well as everything else, really well done!!!

06/12/2025: We had lunch at this charming, quaint osteria. The first and second courses were delicious—I'd say understatement—but above all, they were delicious and of the highest quality. The staff were extremely kind and welcoming.
Highly recommended!
03/12/2025: The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the restaurateur Gregorio was equally welcoming. The refined, well-executed food explodes as Gregorio takes you on a sensory journey with his words and posture.

15/10/2025: I visited two days in a row — the hospitality and cocktails were top-notch. You can enjoy your drinks while watching the street. I tried the Negroni, Espresso Martini, and Red Hook; I especially recommend the Negroni.

Delicious Tuscan dishes (maltagliati with borlotti bean cream, crispy cavolo nero, and toasted pancetta), wild boar with Taggiasca olives (appropriately pitted)... a nice selection of local wines (the area is full of excellent producers). The service was attentive, and the price was more than fair, especially considering they didn't even charge us for the chocolate cream puffs (which were excellent) that arrived too cold. The owner was friendly but not intrusive. We'll definitely be back.
01/11/2025: A "big" birthday spent at this enchanting inn.
Leaving longing to return to this place is, I think, the most fitting way to describe our stay.
