01/10/2025: The service from the waiter who served us was exceptional. He was very attentive and attentive at all times. He sought information so he could explain the type of fish (Ricciola tartare) and meat we had ordered. The Pisa wine, a white and multivarietal, was a great choice. The atmosphere was calm and spacious. Ideal for conversation during the meal.

01/10/2025: I had a lovely dinner at this restaurant with my husband. I had heard great things about it, and I have to say that the dinner—or rather, the experience—exceeded my expectations. It's hard to describe the explosion (literally) of flavors in every course. Flavors and combinations, sometimes unusual, but always perfect! Everything was excellent! The service was also excellent, impeccable in its attention to detail and attentiveness! The atmosphere was elegant yet warm! You'd expect a place like this in Milan or London—a real gem in the heart of San Miniato. Compliments to the chef! It's truly on another level! We'll be back.

04/10/2025: A cozy atmosphere (both outside on the terrace and in the cellar vault), very attentive, friendly service, and every dish was a feast for the palate. Gabriele's restaurant is an absolute must. Especially the ragù and Peposo di Pierangela come highly recommended.

01/10/2025: Wonderful Italian food with influence from other cuisine. For example, I had ceviche and my husband had grilled octopus with fennel mousse. We went there for a friend’s birthday and we were 30 minutes late. They did not show any frustration and accepted us with 3 children. Children ate pasta bolognese and pasta with butter as they requested and those tequests were kindly accepted. The last pasta picture is pasta with squid and ink and bottarga, but it didn’t taste much.

17/09/2025: In the heart of Volterra, this excellent sandwich shop offers traditional Tuscan specialties. You can choose between a traditional sandwich, a cereal sandwich, or a focaccia, and you can fill it with a variety of fillings, cold cuts, and special spreads. Everything is delicious. The house wine is also worth a try. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

04/10/2025: As you can tell from the stars assigned, I'd say the atmosphere is excellent, quiet, and the walls are painted in Old England style. Excellent food. The cured meat appetizers were top-notch. We had two different types of steaks; one was good, the other was better. Dessert: tiramisu and vermouth biscotti were excellent. A perfect pass. If I ever pass through this area again, this will be a must-visit.

26/09/2025: When I'm craving a good steak, there's no need to think twice: "La Panacea" is the perfect place to feel right at home. Everything made here is the result of passion and hard work, but it's worth it! I'm happy I took my childhood friends to La Panacea for a wonderful evening, recounting our experiences as teenagers, the aftermath, and laughing a lot over a good steak, mushrooms, and a bottle of red wine!

02/10/2025: Absolutely loved our stay at Locanda le Giunche. The building is beautiful and Alessio, the owner, was very friendly and welcoming. Read the story about Alessio & brothers and their dream to own this place, really adds a personal touch. The breakfast in the glass house was a highlight, such a lovely setting (in glasshouse) with delicious breakfast. Our only regret was staying just one night!

23/09/2025: My boyfriend and I stayed at the Locanda at the end of October 2024. A unique experience, immersed in a wonderful land and surrounded by the warmth and hospitality of Alessio and Riccardo! The restaurant, where we had the pleasure of dining during our stay, was also excellent.

01/10/2025: A very cozy, family-friendly, and authentic restaurant where we felt very comfortable. The outdoor area is perfect for relaxing on warm summer evenings. The owner and staff are very friendly. We felt very comfortable during our visits.

28/09/2025: Absolutely favorite restaurant in Chianni. We’ve been here a month and the staff is so charming, attentive, and the food is tops! Get the gnudi, truffle tortellini, pork fillet, and salted caramel cheesecake for dessert! Unfortunately, we only ate here 7 times. lol. Will miss all of you dearly. Doina, Bianca, Matteo, and Valentina!

04/10/2025: We had lunch and came here around 2 pm. Took a ticket at the entrance, had to wait for about half an hour for the table but it was absolutely worth it. An amazing food and atmosphere. No posh restaurant with an old furniture and history on the walls, absolutely delicious food and good prices. Would highly recommend for a lunch. They are closed for dinner in October. The owner is an elderly man and agreed to pose for a picture with us.

15/09/2025: The staff here are super welcoming and speak English, which makes things easy. I had a Hugo Spritz and my wife went for an alcohol-free cocktail — both were nice. Prices are average, nothing crazy. They also have a covered terrace outside, so we could stay dry from the rain while still enjoying our drinks. Overall, a good spot for a casual stop.

28/09/2025: Absolutely wonderful find! We started with an early drink on the terrace looking towards the coast and the sunset, before a beautiful meal in perfect surroundings with attentive staff. All four of us were blown away with the whole experience, a highlight of our Tuscan holiday, and really hope we will return. Thoroughly recommended.
