24/12/2024: The mojito is truly excellent and comes in many variations... what accompanies the aperitif (choices of crostini only) is poorly prepared and not too tasty. But the Mojito is TOP!

Personale gentilissimo e disponibile, si percepisce l'amore per il proprio lavoro. Di certo ci tornerò

17/02/2025: I went by very quickly after work I came to get two triangles of margherita, I had only asked for one and I found the mozzarella on top of the pizza which wasn't spoiled I don't want to use any more terrible words, I took it and threw it directly in the bin away at least try to be careful 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

15/04/2025: We thought we would live an authentic experience by eating "at a local's home", real Italian cuisine with a hand-written menu... Unfortunately the disappointment was great, the manager did everything possible to follow but she manages the cooking, the service and the collection, either, we were on vacation, it doesn't matter to wait but on the kitchen side THE DISAPPOINTMENT! an antipasto board served on a plate with 8 slices of cold meats for €15, pasta bathed in oil and a dry and much overcooked chicken/potato, 4 pieces of potato on the plate! The quantities were ridiculous, right down to the dessert (although good but very sweet). Too expensive for what is offered, we did not find the expected generosity on the plate.

20/03/2025: Pleasant surprise. Booked yesterday without having received previous news but only the reviews of this application. Very characteristic place in a very old building. The owner had turned on the heating specifically for us who were the only two customers. Tasty dishes, homemade and presented with love. To return.

05/01/2025: SCONSIGLIATI SSIMO - Locale tremendo, cibo immangiabile, il mio risotto scotto e pieno di aglio, pesce solo surgelato. Abbiamo chiesto un vino bianco ma non avevano nessuna bottiglia in frigo. Ambiente tristissimo

01/03/2025: Really bad. We booked a table for 4 people a few days ago. Then today, knowing that there would be two of us, we called them to let them know so as not to cause them any inconvenience. Despite this, when we arrived this evening they had assigned our table to other people. Compliments.

27/01/2025: Pranzare al bagno e’ sempre gradevole. Rispetto alle alternative in zona, siamo su un simpatico livello medio. Il punteggio sarebbe più limitato se si considerassero i prezzi eccessivi rispetto alla qualità, al servizio, all’ospitalità. Ma non piangerò mai sui soldi che spendo. Me lo ha insegnato un grande cantante.

14/01/2025: Scrivo da cliente del bagno, che come tale utilizza anche il ristorante. Il punto di forza del ristorante è la bella terrazza, di giorno ben ventilata la sera splendidi i tramonti. I piatti sono pretenziosi sulla carta, serviti a volte bene, a volte deludenti. Ma il punto sono i proprietari, con cortesia palpabilmente solo di facciata : una mia recensione negativa scritta la scorsa estate sul social del bagno, relativa ad un piatto servitomi nel corso di una cena con ospiti, che definire imbarazzante come qualità è riduttivo, ha fatto sì che mi comunicasse due giorni fa di essere ospite sgradito al bagno, per cui non potrò più recarmi da loro. Specifico che abbiamo sempre pagato tenda e cabina per tutta la stsgione, saldando anche in anticipo, pur frequentando solo parzialmente e quindi dando meno lavoro, siamo tre adulti che hanno sempre avuto grande rispetto per le regole del bagno e della piscina, mai fatto chiasso, mai disturbato bessuno. Ma evidentemente quella più che giustificata recensione negativa sul ristorante (fatta anche perché, segnalato il problema al capocameriere, nessuna si è mai scusato) ha dato molto, molto fastidio. Concludendo: bagno carino, cabine comode, bellissima terrazza, ristorante discreto, proprietari assolutamente da dimenticare, cosa che farò con grande piacere.

02/02/2025: Sono andata con amiche e veramente devo dire che questo posticino è una vera chicca. Menu’ fisso e i piatti sono di una bontà strepitosa, pochi tavoli per una giusta intimità, proprietari simpaticissimi e il prezzo veramente onesto. Che dire quando troviamo queste realtà e’ giusto premiarle.

The hand always remains the same, The food is truly excellent, in my opinion the tordelli are the best I have eaten The rice cake is unquestionably delicious....the staff are good and well prepared, congratulations to everyone, see you next time.

27/10/2024: I'm not used to reviewing but today I feel offended by the name inn I expect tradition, warmth, friendliness and certainly good food, well today I didn't find all this. I'll start by saying that I go to colonnade often, we've been around almost all of them, the only thing missing was because I've never seen it because it's outside the center of the town, so for this reason I already had higher expectations since you have to go there with intention, apart from that we sit in a cold environment fluorescent green tablecloths staff not at all welcoming and already from there a little biased oh well but I think we will eat well, we order appetizers lard, cured meats and cheeses and a ravioli with meat sauce well the appetizers arrive and there I am immediately struck by the nervous lard that didn't taste like nothing (I'll start by saying that I know well, I'm not from Africa) Tuscan salami, bacon, three pieces of cheese without rind just so you don't know what type it was and sweets with mushrooms, bresaola, typical Apuan salami! What a disappointment then I tell myself I'll make up for it with the ravioli! Here they come, 8 ravioli which don't have a typical shape, but they weren't bad, but they weren't cold! If I can give you some advice given by a professional who has been in the restaurant business for over 20 years, look again, it's so easy to improve, all it takes is a little more effort and who knows, take a look at the competition that perhaps you have to learn, then a reasoning comes naturally as is the competition ever full and you are not? I would like to have an answer and a discussion with you. I attach photos of the appetizer because I really wanted to show it so as not to be seen as a liar

01/12/2024: A beautiful reality discovered after four years of residence in Carrara. The King's Bay is a restaurant bar with a few tables where you can enjoy fresh fish (caught only) made in every way by Vittorio but also excellent first courses and then....... the crudités!!!!! ??? The place is clean, the service is excellent and the staff friendly. Everything was excellent. The prices are compatible and in line with the quality of the products offered. Highly recommended for those who want to eat the catch of the day.

26/09/2024: Basic menu with poor choice, good but banal dishes, I was a little disappointed, honestly I expected that the photos of all the dishes I saw in the reviews were part of a single proposal, but instead they were made in multiple meals. I was even immediately told that to eat shellfish you have to book them in advance. Infinite sadness!

31/12/2024: The best bar/diner in Carrara for quality, courtesy and above all good humor. Unfortunately, it has been open for a few years now, only as a tobacconist, Sisal and Lotto center and Amazon parcel collection and various shipments. Unfortunately, with the pandemic, the kitchen and the bar closed, only the tobacconist remained open.

13/02/2025: Requested a crepe with Nutella and a pancake with dark chocolate and white chocolate. Half-empty place so it's difficult to get the order wrong... I received a crepe with I presume dark chocolate that was dry as a nail and was thrown away and the pancake with white chocolate and Nutella, too bad I'm allergic to hazelnuts, and fortunately from the color I realized that it wasn't dark chocolate. Never again

25/10/2024: Clean place, with a wide choice of various crêpes and piadinas. Very filling and at a great price! Well done.

29/12/2024: Siamo stati a pranzo a Natale (anche se conoscevamo già il ristorante, per esserci stati varie volte, per dei matrimoni) e ci siamo trovati bene. Il personale di sala (soprattutto la cameriera bionda) è davvero gentile e simpatico e ti mette subito a tuo agio. Malgrado ci fosse molta gente, lo spazio è davvero tanto e non c’era confusione (noi eravamo nella sala grande e il tavolo più vicino sarà stato a 10 metri!) e il servizio è stato “rapido il giusto”. Menù fisso (non proprio “economico”: 60 euro a persona), ben studiato e servito in porzioni generose, a soddisfare anche i più “voraci”. Abbiamo apprezzato soprattutto la lasagnetta -anche se il porro croccante sapeva troppo di olio fritto e questo, a mio giudizio, disturbava un po’- ed io personalmente ho amato la tartare con uovo e tartufo; mentre ci ha deluso il dolce (sulla carta molto invitante: semifreddo al cioccolato bianco, con coulis di frutti di bosco), a giudizio del mio tavolo troppo dolce (anche la presenza di pezzetti di cioccolato bianco, all’interno, secondo me rendeva il tutto ancor più dolce). Sarebbe stato decisamente migliore (a mio modesto parere), se fosse stato servito con dei frutti di bosco spadellati (a anche semplicemente “conditi” con zucchero e limone), invece che con una sorta di topping (anch’esso molto dolce). Ma sono dettagli… nel complesso è stato un buon pranzo di Natale, che rifarei
