03/12/2025: Good food, wide selection. We had a great time, enjoying the penne with salmon followed by grilled squid with roasted vegetables. We didn't miss out on dessert either. Dogs are welcome.
24/11/2025: I'd stay home to eat frozen scampi in pasta, grilled prawns, and shrimp in mixed fried fish, not to mention the appetizers. Leave them alone, it's better. Terrible!!!!!

27/08/2025: I'll just rate the gelato, which three of us had, five flavors in total. The unanimous negative rating was for the excessive amount of sugar and thickeners, the poor mouthfeel, and, finally, the mediocre flavor. I hate to write this, but it was a disappointment, after having come specifically for this place based on the positive reviews we'd read.

19/08/2025: After an afternoon at the beach, we stopped for dinner. It was a lovely surprise; we dined by the sea. The service was quick, the staff was friendly, and the seafood risotto was truly excellent. I'm giving it 5 stars and looking forward to another dinner to try other dishes.
15/08/2025: What a shame. The staff was kind, but the kitchen was out of order on August 15th. The menu had a choice of three appetizers, three first courses, and three second courses, and it was unbearable. Arriving at 12:30, we ate the last course at 3:00 PM. The ingredients were frozen. The staff, though very embarrassed, were kind. With those ingredients and that service (meaning the kitchen) it was expensive even at half the price. What do I know? I eat at restaurants for lunch and dinner every day and have even worked in the industry. 2 out of 3 diners reluctantly gave up their second course. I had to apologize to my guests. #SHAME

First time
Maybe it was the beautiful sunny December day, or the kindness of the staff (it's not a given that they'll give you a pizza and a drink and say, "You'll pay me later, no problem"), or maybe the pizza and cecina are good, but it was a joyful experience.
28/11/2025: €2 a slice is very expensive, but the pizza is good even if it's very expensive, topped and greasy. It's a shame, but it's a place that was partially part of my childhood and adolescence, a historic place for me and for the longevity of the place. Recommended!

01/10/2025: I had lunch with my husband and on top of that the waiting times were very long, the food arrived all cold and a little inside the grill on top of the potatoes... we spent a fortune and we didn't even eat well... I will never go back again and I don't even recommend it!!!

11/11/2025: A historic setting reminiscent of the Versilia boom years of the 1960s and 1970s. The atmosphere inspires confidence in the future. Family-run, with experienced staff who are the custodians of the vibrant lifestyle, they speak European languages and, with kind expertise and experience, guide guests through the spacious dining rooms to the most suitable location for lunch or dinner. Diners are also advised to sample the best of the two menus: the daily menu and the regular special. The two menus are interconnected by the wine list and pizza menu. Each dish can be accompanied by freshly baked schiacciata or fresh bread. The location is a bridge between the sea, the seaside promenade, and the construction site.
09/11/2025: We ate here the day before yesterday and we had a great time, the mixed fried fish was excellent, the service I would say was excellent, the lady who served us was very friendly and helpful, number 1 on the Viareggio seafront, I highly recommend it, I will definitely be back

27/09/2025: It pains me to write this negative review. I love this place. The atmosphere is chic and sophisticated. I went for lunch with my husband and ordered only one dish, the seafood steamer, because I wanted something light. Unfortunately, my plate was piled high with mayonnaise! How can you ruin our delicious local fish with such a heavy sauce?! I really don't know what the chef was thinking! My husband then ordered the seafood grill, and luckily I promptly told the waiter to put the mayonnaise aside, because otherwise the plate would have definitely arrived with a kilo of mayonnaise on it.
The bill was very steep. I'm sorry, but unless they change the format, I won't be going there again.

16/09/2025: I had lunch at this restaurant during my work break and was truly surprised. I had ordered a plate of fried cod without much expectation, but what arrived was a true triumph of flavor and abundance. In addition to the crispy, flavorful cod, there were beans, fresh salad, and spectacular caramelized onions, which alone were worth the trip. A rich, varied dish, with attention to detail, which conveys passion and attention to detail in the kitchen. I truly hope to return to Viareggio soon for another lunch like this!
10/08/2025: The food was really good and it felt very local and traditional. The cutlery was a bit dirty but they changed it immediately when we pointed it out. I didn’t feel scammed at all like the some other restaurants in Viareggio.
