20/09/2025: "Four stars? More like four nightmares." €600 for three nights, and I'm seriously wondering what it's for. Even at check-in: dirty towels, hair in the shower, half-empty minibar – thanks for nothing. Changing rooms? No good. In the "new" room, pictures are falling off the wall, the shower turns the bathroom into a paddling pool, the air conditioning is dead, and the curtains are broken. Breakfast? A gas station croissant has more charm. Dirty cutlery, staff with a permanently annoyed look, and room service shows up at 8 a.m. as if it were their own room. Conclusion: This "4-star hotel" is an expensive joke. Every youth hostel here is pure luxury.

20/09/2025: DIRTY, OLD, DISGUSTING We had a suite that was so dirty that we were offered a new one. This one, too, was DISGUSTINGLY DIRTY. The pictures were falling off the wall, the shower was leaking so that after a shower, the entire room was wet!! Absolutely NOT 4 STARS!!! No goodwill from the hotel... they said someone would be right there with silicone for the shower... NEVER AGAIN!! The restaurant apparently closes at 10 PM... unfortunately, it also closed at 9 PM!!

18/07/2025: Bagno Firenze offers every comfort a guest could desire. Every detail is meticulously designed, from the aesthetics to the amenities. The restaurant is also excellent, offering a wide variety of dishes. Highly recommended, the TOP!

18/07/2025: Completely absent attention to the dishes being served. An 8-euro piadina with cheese that tastes like sewer and tons of oil dripping from the eggplant and zucchini (obviously strictly commercial). First course: overcooked maltagliati that fell off the fork with scorpion fish. 14 euros. Staff were completely unsympathetic and laughed in our faces when we pointed this out. Catering is something else entirely. Close

19/04/2025: Locale in centro a Lucca, molto carino, contemporaneo e allegro nella proposta gastronomica con tanti piatti ben cucinati, tutti da condividere in modo divertente. Davvero ben fatta la frittura di acciughe, i due ragù assaggiati, la tartare, tutti sapori forti ma con buoni equilibri. Ah, ottimo anche il pane e buona la cantina, con tanti vini non scontati. Promossi.

13/04/2025: Posto consigliatissimo! Il menu spazia da piatti della tradizione a piatti con contaminazioni orientali. Tutto sfizioso, personale gentile e preparato. Nota positiva: il pane (buonissimo) fatto da loro che è possibile acquistare, conto adeguato a ciò che si mangia e si beve.

27/09/2025: In the pine forest to the west of Viareggio. Away from the chaos of the main avenue. Nice, well-kept place, and friendly staff.

20/10/2025: Terrible lunch. There were two of us; we ordered a super clam (x2) and a mixed fried fish. More than 40 minutes after ordering, the spaghetti arrived. Most likely, the pasta water hadn't been salted, and the clams were 100% defrosted. Next came the mixed fried fish... among the worst I've ever eaten. It was soaked in oil.

19/10/2025: Two hours to eat a first course... pasta allo scogio full of sand and we found a piece of plastic inside... terrible service for sure the first and last time

11/10/2025: We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of friends who described it as a simple yet authentic place, with generous portions and fair prices. Unfortunately, our experience was the exact opposite. The place is modest, a bit old-fashioned from the '70s and '80s, and we entered with the best of intentions. I even joked with the waiter, asking if the portions were really large, and he assured me they were "generous." Too bad that wasn't true. The house appetizer consisted of three tiny samples, clearly prepared some time ago. The grilled fish didn't even weigh 150 grams—including the shrimp carcasses—and the sea bream all'isolana was perhaps 100 grams of real fish. The zucchini served on the side were sour, probably cooked in poor-quality white wine: I, who am usually not picky, couldn't eat them. Final bill: €60, without wine, just a bottle of still water. Overall, a disappointing experience in every way. A place to forget.

04/10/2025: Charming restaurant. Delicious antipasti. Delicious fish dishes. Pleasant white wine. Extremely friendly and efficient service. Everything was excellent.

09/11/2025: The waiters were friendly, but the cleanliness was truly appalling. The place was full of flies, and the bathroom was dirty. Even though the place is never busy during the day, it's unclear why they don't have time to clean.

17/10/2025: Picture this: you’ve been traveling with a two year old for the last 24 hours and you get into the area with no more milk, which he always drinks before bed. The problem, you arrive around 11pm so all the grocery stores are closed. Despite some fight from the toddler, he falls asleep. Until 2:30 am when he screams louder than ever before (which you didn’t know was possible) and you are scrambling to find milk SOMEWHERE. No mini marts, nothing. Suddenly you remember that places with coffee usually have milk and -tada!!- Caffé Nelli is .5 km away. You go in, they speak English! Hooray! And their answer to the key question, “do you have milk?” Becomes the highlight of your visit to Italy so far. You pay a very reasonable price and they give you the goods. Fantastic! Wonderful! I am so grateful that they are open late and had exactly what I needed!!

13/09/2025: Review for the restaurant. Family lunch. Really good seafood menu. Everything is gluten-free (even the fried foods, pasta dishes, everything). I'll definitely be back.

03/09/2025: Cleanliness, order, and organization are the hallmarks of this Versilia beach resort. The distance between the umbrellas and the bar/restaurant is also good. Recommended 👍

09/11/2025: We have been going there for many years and I have to say, unfortunately, that lately the quality of the food has gotten much worse.

01/11/2025: Dining here is like listening to a smart student being tested, but only trying when he wants to. The meat is delicious, tender, juicy, and flavorful. The salad is plain and lacks salt and pepper. The onion rings are crispy. The fries are soft. The fried chicken is juicy. The burger is dry and lacks sauce, with a flimsy bun. The atmosphere is well-organized, but the tables aren't very clean, and neither are the chairs. Postponed until September, I don't think we'll be back.

30/09/2025: The focaccia with cecina is a sure thing! A recommended stop in Pietrasanta for a truly satisfying savory snack. The pizza is good, and the blond mousse pairs perfectly. The setting has a unique charm: it seems frozen in time, with a thousand objects and an authentic atmosphere. The staff is a bit stiff, but the service is fast and efficient. Ideal for a tasty, unpretentious break.
