15/01/2026: Thin, crispy, and easily digestible pizza, just like it was here in Tuscany until a few years ago. Very good, for those who appreciate this type of pizza. Excellent ingredients (fresh porcini mushrooms, for example) and fair prices.

31/08/2025: I discovered this pastry shop by chance on a rainy day. Friendly staff, excellent coffee and cappuccino. The pastries were so good we returned several times for breakfast. I recommend the puff pastry with ricotta cream. Delicious 🤤

11/08/2025: I just went to this bar. I just arrived in Viareggio, and I'm on vacation. I found the lady at the bar (I don't know if she's the owner or the bartender) very rude, yelling at me that I should turn off the light in the bathroom. She should be more polite and kind to customers.

19/08/2025: The pizza is certainly not the best in the region. The price is commensurate: very cheap. We had a really hard time ordering because the lady was very annoyed, wanting to do everything quickly; we felt unwelcome in this pizzeria from the very first moment. It was obvious that she didn't want to serve us. Perhaps it was because we were there with two small children. The lady (owner) obviously didn't speak English, but spoke a little quickly in Italian. All attempts to explain things to her via online translator failed. But I wouldn't recommend this pizzeria. The pizzas weren't moist, so it's not worth it. The atmosphere is okay.

11/12/2025: Huge potential, probably under-exploited due to the off-season. There's a children's area, although it's not proportionate to the size of the venue. I hope to return in the summer to see if any differences arise.

04/12/2025: Good food, freshly cooked, and a wide selection of products. Pizza is also available, and takeout is also available. Not recommended on weekends and holidays due to the high traffic and therefore longer wait times.

25/11/2025: Although the sea wasn't always cooperative, this beach resort proved to be excellent on several fronts. First and foremost, the umbrellas and loungers were well-maintained, although there wasn't much space between them. The bar service prepared excellent lunches, and the staff was always friendly.

07/10/2025: We stopped by at the end of the season for a coffee by the sea. Excellent service, with children's games on the sand. Friendly and welcoming staff. Highly recommended, even for long-term stays; the facilities look excellent.

04/08/2025: Metti una splendida serata d’estate …un luogo incantato e cibo buonissimo ,sul fiume 📍𝐎𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐚 ,via di Candalla 264 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐞 ..un ristorante tradizionale ma con una marcia in più ,ad attenderci al nostro arrivo un bar sul fiume con cocktail interessanti con un’aria equatoriale ,caraibica molto rilassante Dopodiché uno splendido tavolo al fresco bordo ruscello , per proseguire con la nostra cena di gusto Anche all’interno il locale è molto carino sobrio e raffinato .Menu di terra con prodotti di qualità . Per prenotare basta chiamare la mattina alle 9 del mese precedente in cui si desidera andare ,io non ho trovato nessuna difficoltà. Il servizio é attento e cortese

04/08/2025: Ho prenotato in questa Osteria per il 5 Agosto, venendo da lontano, (più di una ora di autostrada) e dovendo percorrere l'autostrada della Cisa, causa lavori e maltempo, ho dovuto allungare l'orario di arrivo alle 13:30. Giunta però con 35 minuti di anticipo, mi accorgo che impossibile parcheggiare, i pochi posti disponibili, su per una strada in salita stretta e circondata da cartelli di rimozione, sono tutti occupati e le persone continuano ad arrivare. Ho tentato di cercare parcheggio, ma non c'è stata possibilità, nemmeno allontanandomi di parecchia strada, in quanto trattasi di strada di montagna stretta che rasenta la pericolosità. Alla fine a malincuore sono costretta ad andarmene con l'amaro in bocca e una buona dose di nervosismo per una gestione così poco attenta ai clienti e menefreghista. Ho sprecato così carburante, tempo, un viaggio lungo ed energia. Mi chiedo... un luogo che fa così tanti coperti, può permettersi di avere una disponibilità di parcheggio così indirettamente proporzionale e non fare nulla a riguardo? E' giusto che un cliente non venga avvisato di questo disagio appurato e debba addirittura doversene andare? Non sarebbe corretto dirlo oppure offrire un servizio navetta, oppure ampliare l'area di parcheggio chiedendo permessi al comune oppure, semplicemente fare meno coperti? Invece no, schiavi del guadagno, senza rispetto. Il cibo sarà sicuramente buono come descritto, ma il servizio e la cortesia sono parti a zero.

03/03/2026: Six of us, a group of friends, wanted a quick lunch and stumbled upon this small restaurant, sitting outside on a spring-like day. Excellent dishes, including some local specialties. The tortelli lucchesi were very good. The wine selection exceeded expectations, with an excellent Bolgheri at a more than reasonable price. The service was very friendly and efficient. The bill was absolutely reasonable. A pleasant surprise and a much-appreciated lunch.

06/04/2026: I usually avoid leaving negative reviews, but this time I couldn't help it. It was Easter Monday, the restaurant was packed, and there was a power outage along the entire waterfront: an unfortunate situation, certainly, and not attributable to the restaurant. The problem, however, was how it was handled. The entire outdoor dining area was manned by just two waitresses, and we were, in fact, completely neglected throughout the entire lunch, without any explanation or update. We had ordered a mixed appetizer consisting of four courses: after an hour and a half, only three of them arrived, all cold dishes that didn't even require electricity. After about an hour, we were asked for second courses; I asked for something quick, and after a few minutes, a single plate of paccheri arrived for two to share. The most disappointing thing was the bill: we paid full price for everything, including the incomplete appetizer. It's not so much the emergency itself, which can happen, but the complete lack of attention and care towards customers who, despite everything, pay in full. I left feeling truly disappointed and bitter.

06/04/2026: I never leave negative reviews, but unfortunately, this place gave me one. Easter Monday, lots of tables, and an emergency power outage along the entire promenade. So far, bad luck, but not the restaurant's fault. The problem arises when the entire dining room, manned by just two waitresses, was abandoned for the entire meal, with no apologies or updates. We had ordered a mixed four-course appetizer, and three arrived after an hour and a half (since the food was cold and ready, it didn't require electricity). An hour later, they came asking for second courses. I asked for the quickest option available, and after five minutes, a plate of paccheri arrived for two. Dissatisfied with the emergency management, we went to pay full price for everything, even the appetizer, for which we only received three of the four courses. I'm sorry, but I've never left a place feeling so disappointed and angry. It's not the emergency, but the lack of attention shown by those who pay full price for no attention.

15/08/2025: You can also find special rye bread with cereals, it arrives fresh on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, and it lasts up to a week, what can I say about the round pizza with drowned cherry tomatoes, good oven.

06/09/2025: Subpar food at prices found in much nicer and more refined restaurants, and the wait staff (a lady who may be the owner) is unhelpful and rude, with haughty responses. It really feels like one customer is superfluous even when they show you your assigned table. It says "pizzeria" outside, but unless you reserve a table a few days in advance, you can't eat there. Absurd! I'd suggest changing careers.

31/08/2025: Recommended by a nearby shop. We immediately noticed the fast and friendly service; the waiters are smiling and honest. The price is excellent for the high quality of the food. Will we be back? Yes!
