28/12/2025: We were there this evening with the family and I have to say that everything was delicious, amazing ramen and wok, uromaki tempura worth 10 which we had twice, excellent service and everyone was very kind, clean place... I recommend it and we will definitely be back

07/04/2026: I really wanted to like this place because the atmosphere is beautiful and the staff was genuinely kind and welcoming. Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing. The seafood did not taste fresh at all, which was concerning, and overall the quality of the dishes was poor. Even something as simple as the pizza was not good. What made the experience worse is that everyone in our group felt unwell afterward—nauseous for the rest of the day—which makes me seriously question the freshness of the ingredients. It’s a lovely spot with nice service, but the food is not worth it at all. I wouldn’t recommend eating here.

03/05/2026: We ordered steamed sea bass, shredded potatoes with green peppers, and scrambled eggs with chives—it was amazing! It was perfectly suited to Chinese tastes, and it was the best Chinese restaurant we had in Italy. Parking in Lucca goes around the city walls, so I recommend parking at the north gate; it's quite convenient to walk to the restaurant that way.

01/12/2025: Although this gelateria has undergone some changes compared to Orso Bianco 30 years ago, where the gelato counter was twice as long, I have to say I still appreciate their gelato. If I'm nearby, I make the most of it, even though I eat less gelato than I did when I was a kid. What still makes this place unique compared to other local gelato shops is its fenced-in outdoor area with chairs and tables, but above all, a small play area for children, where mothers or parents can relax and enjoy an gelato while their children play.

07/06/2026: A restaurant near the medieval village of Castiglione; The pool bar area (including a children's pool) is very beautiful, and is open in the summer. The menu offers excellent dishes, featuring home-cooked cuisine using fresh, locally sourced, local ingredients. Depending on the season, you can also choose from a variety of delicious seasonal delicacies. The pizza is also very good, with a delicious dough made with a blend of local grains, making it crispy, light, and flavorful. It offers a wide selection and is cooked in a wood-fired oven. After your meal, you can't miss one of Michela's delicious desserts, always new and delicious. A beautiful indoor dining room and beautifully maintained outdoor spaces.

20/05/2026: The waitress was very kind and attentive. There were two of us, and we had two tagliata (meat from their own farm), and they were delicious! Excellent value for money. We'll definitely be back!

25/04/2026: A truly pleasant place, perfect for a relaxed aperitivo. The beautifully presented platter features a good selection of cured meats and cheeses, accompanied by jam and crispy focaccia. The ingredients are excellent, everything fresh and tasty. The Spritzes are well-made, balanced, and served in the classic glass with orange: ideal to accompany the platter. The atmosphere is welcoming, with outdoor seating making the experience even more enjoyable. Service was standard, with no long waits. Overall, a recommended place for a quiet aperitivo in good company. 👍

06/04/2026: My Moscow mule is delicious! I'm not arguing about the appetizers. I have my own ideas and would take a different business approach, but everything's fine. A little tip to make your customers' experience a relaxing and enjoyable one: reach an agreement with your neighbors and play unique music. It's like being at an amusement park! 😁 It's impossible to converse. Too bad! Maybe we're out of our target age range... who knows!

10/11/2025: A quick lunch break during our tour of Viareggio in early November. We chose this little place on the promenade for the small glass-fronted terrace, which ensured a pleasant temperature. We ordered two stuffed piadinas and then a Nutella crepe to share for dessert, all washed down with two bottled beers. Unfortunately, they didn't have any on tap, even though it was on the menu. However, my piadina wasn't cooked through, and the mozzarella was still cold. The service was very quick, and the staff were friendly. The restrooms, however, are very small and difficult to access due to the narrow corridor. There was no cover charge, and the final bill was €28, as per the attached receipt.

14/06/2026: Slow service, incorrect and incomplete dishes. At 1 pm, there were no roast potatoes left. You ordered tagliatelle with wild boar and it arrived without any sauce. Some main courses were already finished... they even added the tap water to the bill. Terrible.

06/05/2026: We stopped here last Saturday on our way down from the Pradarena Pass. I usually don't leave things to chance, but this time I made an exception. It was a truly fortunate choice: the food was excellent, the staff was exquisite, and the view from the terrace was priceless. An experience worth repeating.

31/05/2026: After almost two years, I returned to this place for pizza tonight. I'd never had any problems until today. The pizza wasn't bad, but unfortunately, the experience was marred by the attitude of some of the staff. I was waiting for my pizza on the terrace, and when the buzzer sounded to let me know it was ready, I heard laughter from inside and one of the pizza chefs say, "This guy is weird." I went in to get my pizza, and I also had the feeling I was being watched with a somewhat mocking attitude. I believe that respect for the customer should always be a priority. Customers can hear the staff's comments and sense any derisive behavior, which certainly doesn't contribute to a welcoming atmosphere. I'm sorry to leave this review, especially since I had a positive experience in the past. I don't know if the management or organization of the place has changed since then, but after what happened, it's clear I won't be returning.

09/11/2025: We ate here the day before yesterday and we had a great time, the mixed fried fish was excellent, the service I would say was excellent, the lady who served us was very friendly and helpful, number 1 on the Viareggio seafront, I highly recommend it, I will definitely be back
