We ordered steamed sea bass, shredded potatoes with green peppers, and scrambled eggs with chives—it was amazing! It was perfectly suited to Chinese tastes, and it was the best Chinese restaurant we had in Italy. Parking in Lucca goes around the city walls, so I recommend parking at the north gate; it's quite convenient to walk to the restaurant that way.

I've been coming here since I was 15. The staff are incredibly friendly and the food is delicious. It's a lovely place to hang out and have a good time!

The food is cheap, but I didn't really like it. The chicken was too salty and the soup was very ordinary; the dumplings were okay, although they were the kind you buy at the supermarket.

For a different kind of evening in Lucca, it's honest. I'll start by saying it's the first Chinese restaurant I've tried. The food quality is moderate compared to the prices, so expectations should be moderate. The grilled meat ravioli are highly recommended, as are the soups. Perhaps the chipped placemats should be replaced.

Hotel "La Pania"

03/06/2026: A strategic location for visiting the Garfagnana region, the hotel is clean and the rooms have everything you need, without the frills that could potentially drive up the prices. The restaurant/pizzeria is excellent, and its veranda offers a view of the peaks and the sound of the stream in the background. Highly recommended.
