08/07/2026: It was a real bad experience, we paid 60 euro. 40 to stay, 20 for the pool (which he only accepted in cash 🤔 might be a scam/tax fraud). He did not tell us that the pool closed 1,5 hours after we paid for it. (That felt like a bad customer service choice). The sound of tennis players and gundhots could be heard all through the evening and night. The facilities were not nice or well kept. All in all a bad experience, but it was available for the night. So we took it.

24/05/2026: Ideal base for exploring or relaxing. We stayed at il Serchio for 7 nights. The owner is very friendly and speaks excellent English. The site is well laid out with established hedges bordering the pitches. This gives you a cozy plot which gives privacy and shade. The toilet block gives all the essentials with plenty of hot water, dishwashing area and washing machines and a dryer for clothes. Being a 20min walk to Lucca there's plenty to see and do. From Lucca you can catch a train or bus to Florence and Pisa or down to the Tuscan coast. Closer to the site it's a much shorter walk to the riverside and a long towpath offering great bike riding or just a stroll with shade from the trees. All in all a great experience with a comfortable base.

29/06/2026: I went to this pizzeria for a birthday party and I have to say I was satisfied. The menu is extensive and features creative menu items themed around the place, a detail I found very cute! My only complaint is how thin the pizza is, but the taste makes up for it. We waited a long time to order even though the place didn't seem particularly crowded, but between chatting and taking our time, we ordered everything. The atmosphere is quiet, we spent the evening peacefully without any distracting noises or voices, and talking, I loved the overall aesthetic! I recommend it for anyone looking to spend an evening with a large group.

09/05/2026: We had dinner at this beautiful establishment just this evening and we can't help but write a five-star review! Super light pizza, with quality toppings, and above all, very digestible. The atmosphere is familiar, clean, tidy, and welcoming. The menu is extensive, and in addition to the pizzas (both white and red), we also recommend the appetizers and focaccias—there's something for everyone! The cherry on the cake is undoubtedly the breathtaking view of the beach... priceless ❤️ Thanks Nicoletta!

30/06/2026: It's truly the best pizza in Versilia...once you try it, you'll always choose them! Easy to digest, quality ingredients, and a rich topping. Their pita bread is unbeatable!

03/05/2026: Top quality in the area for pita bread, cecina, and pizza. The service is also friendly... obviously, during peak hours, you'll need to be patient for a bit of a wait.

06/10/2025: The hotel is clean, and the reception staff were very polite and attentive. It has a restaurant (delicious food), and breakfast is included. There's no elevator, only stairs. The view from the hotel is wonderful!!
