21/10/2025: I happened upon it by chance. The food is worthy of being called food. The flavor is excellent, the plating is attractive, the desserts are good, and the price is fair. Run by a top-notch family. It's nice to see and recognize the people who work in the pizzeria/restaurant wearing a nice uniform. I hope you continue to improve. Well done to the chef sister.

16/09/2025: We're always satisfied with the quality and atmosphere at this restaurant. It's a guarantee. Fair prices, and in the summer, a spacious outdoor area. If you're in the area, stop by. It's worth it.

23/02/2026: The place was chosen a bit at random before returning after the carnival in Viareggio, but it was an excellent choice, excellent food, excellent service, a recommended place for those who live in the area and perhaps have never been there.

Questo posto rappresenta il perfetto equilibrio tra qualità, velocità e convenienza. ​Punti di Forza Assoluti: ​Velocità Imbattibile: Il servizio è velocissimo, rendendolo il posto ideale per una cena veloce o quando non si ha molto tempo a disposizione. ​Menu: La gamma di panini è immensa, offrendo un'infinità di combinazioni. Il fatto che siano anche personalizzabili è un grandissimo valore aggiunto. ​Qualità Superiore: Non è il solito panino. Il pane è sempre croccante, scaldato alla piastra al punto giusto, e le farciture sono indiscutibilmente di ottima qualità. ​Rapporto Qualità-Prezzo: Se non si vuole optare per il ristorante, Nonna Ede è l'ottimo compromesso. 25/12/2025: The atmosphere was poorly heated, and the food was cold and served with stale bread. The only things we appreciated were the panzanelle and focaccia, served 45 minutes before the appetizer. To forget.

05/02/2026: Gelateria Veneta is perfectly located on Via Fillungo, right near Piazza Anfiteatro. The quality of the gelato is very good, in line with Lucca's excellent standards. I prefer it to many others because the prices are truly affordable and fair for a place right in the center. The portions aren't huge (other gelato shops charge more), but for the price, it's fine. One tip: I'd make the crepes more filling inside instead of just putting the toppings on top!

20/01/2026: Pizzeria located in Porcari (LU), indoor and outdoor dining, takeaway, large selection of very good pizzas, you can also enjoy cecina, excellent service and friendly staff, interesting prices, I recommend it.

02/01/2026: Delicious pizza with a low crust, generous, high-quality toppings, and fast service. Takeout is always on time, too. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful, and the prices are below average. The location is a bit small, but the restrooms are decent. Highly recommended if you're in the area, and beyond!

07/03/2026: Dinner with friends. We ate five different pizza flavors spread across three boards, totaling 2.5 meters. We washed it down with five pints of beer and a good dessert. All at a great price.

23/02/2026: I discovered this place through social media with the videos of "Leo" and I chose to organize a lunch for 12 people. I was expecting only a scene like in the videos and a normal restaurant, but instead I was amazed by the quality of the dishes. We ordered platters that cost 13 euros if I remember correctly and were really generous, baked potatoes and spinach, a good kilo of really good and melt-in-the-mouth steak, a huge selection of beers and fast and cool service as they say in our parts. The owner is the soul of the place, ready to make you laugh even with off-the-line jokes. Compliments to everyone from the waiting staff to the kitchen and the owner.

26/12/2025: Christmas lunch set menu. Everything was excellent, from appetizer to dessert. The staff were knowledgeable and extremely friendly, the service was prompt, and the place was spotless. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back.

26/12/2025: Update December 2025: We celebrated Christmas here with our family. Service was excellent, and the food was excellent. Three seafood appetizers (see photo) cost €60 (paccheri with cherry tomatoes, scampi, clams, and lupini beans), mixed fried fish with anchovies and fried vegetables, and panettone with cream, water, wine, and coffee. It was sold out. Update 2025: Everything is always great at La Casina! --- We're regulars at this restaurant, and I can say it's an extremely good restaurant, especially for the price. The dishes are good and plentiful, and there's no cover charge. I recommend the tagliolini with lobster, the seafood sauté, and the cacciucco (fish stew). Located in the Viareggio pine forest, 200 meters from the sea, it offers both indoor and outdoor seating, with air conditioning. During high season, it's better to reach it by bike than by car due to the lack of parking in the area (free parking nearby from 1-3 PM and after 8 PM). They often offer a free after-dinner drink at the end of the meal. - August 2023. This year too, we've been to the local restaurant a couple of times, always top-notch. The seafood is good and plentiful, and there's a fixed-price menu available (4 appetizers, 2 first courses, fried food, and water, plus wine). The staff is friendly and helpful, and there's a wide variety of "ammazza caffè" (afternoon tea) for those like me who don't get the usual "amaro del Capo" (a bitter liqueur). Don't be put off by anyone who complains about slow service. The staff is always busy, but when there's a lot of people, you might have to wait, but that means you'll eat well!

21/09/2025: A lovely place to stay right on the beach, with very nice food. The female staff are very kind, but the older man behind the bar is extremely rude. He openly says he won’t talk to you if you don’t speak Italian. Yesterday I tried my best in Italian, and today I tried again, but he was still very rude and waved me away saying he was full. It seems like things go a bit too well for this man. I would give him zero stars if I could, but since I really love the place and all the other staff are very kind, that wouldn’t be fair.

07/09/2025: I arrived alone at 2:00 PM. The friendly owner gave me an umbrella and access to the pool. There wasn't much noise on the beach, so I managed to sleep and then took a relaxing dip in the seawater at the pool. I'll be back.

01/03/2026: After 1 hour of sitting I ask the waiter, he answers I work at high levels I'm just passing through 😂😂, after 1 hour and 15 the pizzas arrive with all the ash underneath that I turned upside down and left on the plate, at the cashier I ask for explanations, not even 1 euro discount and the gentleman kindly replies, come on madam you ate in 6 for this nonsense, guys teach first of all manner of manners that's how you lose customers

07/11/2025: Ten out of ten. The pizza is thin and crispy, with a variety of flavors to choose from. I'll definitely be back; it's a place that feels warm even when it's cold outside. Plus, I love the concept of being able to see all the ingredients being cut and the pizza dough being made!
