28/01/2025: Found by chance while on a motorbike ride. The staff was very kind, I met the restaurateur/chef of the restaurant who accompanied me to the table and immediately served me the appetizers: salami, Parmigiano Reggiano, gnocco fritto and Pattone, or fried mushroom rice, as they used to do in the old days. What can I say... everything was exceptional, especially the salami, which was amazing! Then I moved on to the first courses and took the tray of tortelli: a mix of four types of tortelli – greens, pumpkin, potatoes and herbs, gorgonzola and walnuts – a spectacle for the palate. Amazing place, I will definitely be back!

15/03/2025: Excellent gastronomy, probably one of the best in Viareggio. Prices more than honest, which is rare these days. I read in the reviews evaluations on the environment remaining a little vintage, which is actually irrelevant for the purposes of the product, but in my personal opinion it is only an advantage! Finding a familiar environment again, the environment that does not change over time, that you found as a child... has only great value.

09/03/2025: Ho appena terminato di pranzare qui da Omar, e ci sono stato anche ieri sera a cena, e onestamente devo dire che il rapporto qualità prezzo è molto alto, si mangia bene (i primi sono strabbondanti una porzione per due persone), cucinati con cura e il servizio è molto buono anche se è alla mano molto educato. Non riesco a capire e comprendere come si faccia a dire che di mangi male, che la qualità sia scadente come han fatto diversi commensali (basta vedere che poi hanno due o tre recensioni guarda caso solo negative) e questo mi fa arrabbiare. Ho provato anch'io a pranzare o cenare dove mi sono ritrovato male, in ambienti che non meritano nemmeno una considerazione, ma criticare solo per criticare sembra fatto apposta. Provate se siete in zona, è necessaria la prenotazione per il fine settimana e se si mangiasse male non sarebbe sempre pieno

22/02/2025: We ate quite well, but at the end of dinner we noticed the presence of fascist symbols hanging on all the walls and a high relief depicting Mussolini which made our dinner go sideways. I'm certainly not arguing about freedom of thought, but keep them in your home instead of in a public restaurant. We will definitely not be returning.

14/08/2024: Ate here in the summers of 2023 and 2024 for dinner with sandwiches with porchetta or cold cuts and selected draft beer (very drinkable IPA). All very good and balanced. The location is the square in front of the restaurant. There are tables and umbrellas. The square transforms in the evening with the nightlife that flows from the two main streets of Pietrasanta.

In all honesty, he has a long way to go to reach his commendable predecessor but this gentleman already wins in courtesy and availability! The cuisine is straightforward and without frills. Taste and authenticity of the dishes guaranteed. Excellent Frantoiana soup. The rostinciana, although only one piece but full-bodied, was well worth it (it would have been better to specify that it was not grilled but baked). There is still work to be done on the desserts and wines. Few labels and without criteria. We are waiting for him to propose steaks and mushrooms, the strong dish of the two Paolis. The road is long but it is well taken. He doesn't have to imitate but if he changes his approach and reduces the dishes and quantities... he has little hope. Anyway good.

17/12/2024: Abbiamo ordinato una pizza, parto nel dire che la cottura era sbagliata base bruciata e ingredienti crudi pomarola slegata e non leggermente cotta in fase di prima informata, si nota una grave lacuna nel settore pizzeria non comprate la pizza magari se la cavano con la carne.Ingredienti della pizza scadenti e cipolla rossa orribilmente super cruda tutto slegato tutto pessimo.

28/02/2025: Manca solo una Stella per un motivo solo… il menù è illeggibile… Just 5 stars if they had a more readable menu! They wanted to use all the fonts available in a computer making it very difficult to read… keep it simple because the number of pizza choices is incredible but it takes ages to decide and to find vegetarian options. Best pizza in the valley.
