Note of the week: At Pizzeria 245, I found the Viareggio marinara I was looking for. A truly successful version, with authentic and well-balanced flavors. The staff was friendly and attentive, while the atmosphere, while welcoming, could use a few extra touches to express its full potential. An experience to keep in my food journal.

I'm returning to Viareggio after 10 years. I was disappointed by this city, which I thought was chaotic, neglected, and unwelcoming. I've found it much better. This pizzeria has added even more positives. The atmosphere is a bit gloomy, seemingly subdued. The staff is kind and cheerful, very helpful. The pizza is truly made; you can see the attention and care put into the dough and the cooking. It's very light and easy to digest. Note: This is the first pizzeria to offer knives specifically designed for cutting pizza. CONGRATULATIONS!

My wife and I have been frequenting this pizzeria for months now, traveling from Pisa. I must say that Simone and Eleonora are truly friendly, helpful, and professional. Excellent pizza.... Best pizza I have ever had!! Looks unassuming from the outside but full of locals and an enjoyable atmosphere, The staff were super nice and speak some English. Menu is uncomplicated and original, everything is amazing!

Living Concept Store

01/11/2025: A place with a prime location overlooking the city walls. I went there for an aperitif with friends. A Coke with the perfect number of ice cubes was a real treat.
29/10/2025: A very charming venue, the interiors are a mix of styles, yet they blend well together, making the place both comfortable and chic. The cocktails are excellent and the menu is traditional Tuscan. The small store area is charming, with a limited but interesting selection. Highly recommended, but it's best to book in advance!

Il Parco di Villa Grey 1 Stella Michelin

15/01/2026: Villa Grey was a wonderful surprise. The property is meticulously maintained and is less than a 20-minute walk from the central Via Carducci. The room we booked has a balcony and is located on the third floor. It offers a variety of amenities: a coffee machine, complimentary water, Sky TV, toiletries, slippers for the beach and the room, and a beach bag. We took advantage of the beach-accessible reservation, and we were more than satisfied with this as well. The location is beautiful (the beach is in front of the hotel). It is well-maintained, with two sun loungers, two deckchairs, a table, a safe, and a chair. Towels are included. The beach restaurant is excellent! All the staff, both at the hotel and on the beach, are friendly and helpful. There is a paid shuttle service and free bicycles. My husband and I usually stay in 5-star hotels, but I must say that at Villa Grey, we didn't regret choosing this accommodation.
27/09/2025: The Villa Grey was one of the best hotel stays we ever had. The room was clean, beautiful, well designed and modern. Not to mention incredible water views. The amenities and food services were excellent. The staff was top notch, wonderful and friendly. Not mention an incredible location being seconds from a stylish beach club. The whole feel was second to none. We will be back to the Villa Grey in our next stay in Forte Dei Marmi.
