I went for breakfast. Definitely a point of reference for Lucca and an ideal meeting point being at the entrance to the motorway The service, the cappuccino and the pastries were good, although I gave one star less because at 8.30 the counter was not fully stocked and I personally like a type of pastry with more cream But it remains an excellent pastry shop

We had breakfast in this pastry shop during our two-day stay in Lucca. Excellent brioche and single portion, fair price.

The quality of the pastry products is impeccable! It's a shame that the Sala staff seem (almost) annoyed by your presence, which certainly doesn't help. Unfortunately, often a place that could have 5 stars is downgraded due to the attitude of the staff. Sin!

Brioche al pistacchio molto buona ma ancora di più i bignè alla crema. Prezzi un po alti ma non ci andiamo tutti i giorni!

25/03/2024: The place is in the square in front of the town hall, we went for lunch last Saturday with 5 people, including a colleague who was gluten intolerant. We ate very well, especially our celiac colleague, with new and unique recipes. The staff is friendly and courteous, the place is welcoming and nice. Last but not least, the bathroom was spotless. We will be back as soon as possible!
17/03/2024: Excellent homemade first courses, including gluten-free ones, pici and space tordelli... The meat second courses are even better, simple cuisine, all homemade, flavors of times gone by. Friendly staff… we will definitely be back

Al Corso

26/11/2023: Bel ristorante in zona duomo a Lucca, lontano dal circuito turistico. Menu con limitato numero di proposte anche perché tutto è preparato al momento, con tempi di attesa proporzionati. Nel coperto sono compresi il calice di benvenuto con relativo piccolo assaggio. Molto valida e varia la proposta dei pani di vario tipo. Buona carta dei vini con etichette di cantine di nicchia, non solo locali.
18/07/2023: Siamo stati per caso in questo posto e ci siamo trovati subito a nostro agio..il cameriere è stato molto bravo rendendoci la serata piacevole..i piatti sono molto curati e buoni..niente da dire..40€ a testa è la cifra spesa per un primo secondo una bottiglia di prosecco e caffè in 3
