Nice pastry shop, nice place, friendly staff, good coffee, parking, the only flaw is getting in and out a bit difficult.

A well-stocked pastry shop with a wide selection of sweet and savory items, with plenty of parking. The coffee is exceptional, and the macchiato and cappuccino are also very good. The service is non-existent. You go up to the counter, order, and pay, which is a real shame. The staff is very friendly and fast, even though the pastry shop is very busy. If they had table service, it would be 5 stars. Think about it, guys.

Our Airbnb host recommended this place to us as one of the best in the world. And it didn't disappoint! We ordered the two most popular items (see photos) and they were delicious. A must if you're in Lucca!

Update 2026. I had breakfast at this pastry shop, and it's been a long time since I've had such a delicious cream-filled pastry. The atmosphere is lovely, the service is friendly and fast, the coffee is excellent, and the pastries are delicious. Buralli is a guarantee.
