Central and convenient location. Great service and clean rooms. Floor shower very uncomfortable and not very functional. Poor assorted breakfast.

I spent Easter at Carlino... really good food, beautiful place. Very friendly and honest prices. Also great quality. I recommend it!

Nice hotel, pizza restaurant right in the center of Castelnuovo di Garfagnana. Welcome to the mouse, Carlo, the owner, has an uncommon personality. Welcomes customers by making them feel at ease in every way. Hotel that perhaps deserves a 4 star. Sure it's a bit dated, but retro doesn't mean obsolete, on the contrary. Excellent cleaning. At the restaurant you eat homemade and you spend the right amount. Generous dish.

A Minha experiência não foi muito boa principalmente devido a fraca qualidade da cama, todo o mobiliário é muito antigo em geral. No entanto a localização é boa com parque para hóspedes e a comida servida no Restaurante é realmente muito boa.

12/11/2023: I expected more, good quality of meat but little choice on the menu, I had seen many good things from the photos (cheeses, Angus, wide choice of wines, I expected there to be Syrah from the Mordini estate) which were not present on the menu. There were no oil or salt on the table, I would have put a little more on the meat. The service was cold, the chosen wine was opened without letting us taste it.
26/09/2023: Purely meat restaurant in the center of Barga, a small village in Garfagnana. Excellent tartare with an intense flavour, decent hamburger, perhaps the lard covered the taste of the hamburger meat a little too much. Try again with other types of meat
