Excellent restaurant...wide selection of traditional meat and fish dishes...excellent pizzas too...I finally ate authentic Lucchese-style tordelli with an excellent meat ragù...the fillet with pepper cream was truly exceptional, so tender it melted in your mouth...my wife's Catalana was also excellent, as was my son's grilled tuna fillet...quality/price ratio was tops. A special mention for the service too...I met the waiter, a great 18-year-old...he's passionate, polite, and very helpful. He has great potential to become a top professional...

Il Borghetto is a typical trattoria. The atmosphere is welcoming and classic. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food is exceptional. We had tagliatelle with walnut sauce, tortelli with ragù, grilled chicken, and piazza. All the ingredients were exceptional. I would have loved the tuna steak, but we were full. We'll definitely return. Highly recommended!

A good restaurant in Mozzano. The seafood carbonara is excellent, but the pizza isn't bad either.

The seafood appetizer and calamarata with octopus ragù were very generous. The tuna steak with the off-menu porcini mushroom option cost us €4 more (a bit excessive considering the meager amount of porcini mushrooms). It's a shame, because even though everything was delicious, the dinner was ruined by mosquitoes.

31/03/2026: I stopped in for the first time because every time I passed by, it was always packed, and I never had a chance to stop. But this evening I managed to, and finally I ate really well. Compliments to the chef, compliments to the waiter, who was very kind, and also to the lady at the counter. I wish you all continued success, and keep up the good work. The food is excellent. For my part, it's a pleasure to eat, and they didn't have to add anything, either salt or anything else, so the chef is number one for me.

06/04/2026: A truly excellent pizzeria and focaccia restaurant just outside the city walls of Lucca. On the recommendation of our nearby hotel, we went there for dinner and were absolutely delighted! They serve only pizza and focaccia, along with salads that you can customize with various toppings. The pizza was absolutely fantastic, and the salad was equally delicious! We didn't try the focaccia ourselves, but we saw it and it looked very tasty! Aside from the constant slamming of the entrance door, due to the many customers taking their pizzas to go, we were completely thrilled and went back twice. Highly recommended!!
16/02/2026: Crispy focaccia with excellent filling, excellent pizza, we will be back soon, nice atmosphere and fast service
