19/07/2025: Cortona and the Birrificio Cortonese restaurant are always on our list for a vacation in Tuscany. The food and house wine are highly recommended! Add to that the friendliness of the staff and owners. A definite recommendation when visiting the beautiful town of Cortona! 😃👍
17/07/2025: Interesting but basic platter. When we read "cold cuts and cheese," we didn't expect two slices of each, but only a tiny slice of pecorino. It's consistent, but not generous. The burger is good. The tuna salad doesn't match the photo on the starter menu, but it's interesting (there are also lampascioni and dried tomatoes, perhaps it would be worth specifying them on the menu).

09/07/2025: Vi kom tilfældigvis forbi og vi syntes det så hyggeligt ud. Dette var til en frokost og vi bestilte to pizzaer. Vi opdagede de lavede deres eget øl så det måtte vi prøve. To forskellige pizzaer og to forskellige øl. Maden var meget lækker og super lækkert øl. Vi vil glæde os til et aften besøg.
17/06/2025: We dachten een lekkere verse Italiaanse pizza te krijgen, maar hadden meteen in de gaten dat we een diepvries pizza hadden gekregen met dik gesneden prosciutto ham over de hele pizza heen gelegd, om de boel te camoufleren .

13/08/2025: Very nice little grocery store in the center of Cortona. We bought some charcuterie there, which was very good!
I recommend it.
11/08/2025: We stopped at La Botteghina for lunch during our stay in Cortona. We enjoyed an aperitivo with local wine and, most importantly, a really high-quality platter of local cheeses. The first courses we ordered were also delicious. The owner was very helpful. Highly recommended!

09/08/2025: Just came down from Cortona waiting on my train to Forance on a Saturday afternoon. Most stores and cafes closed. But this place 8 minutes walk from Camucia Stazione is open. For €5 I got a slice of cheese pizza and a bottle of sparkling juice. Excellent services!!

27/08/2025: "Handmade" pasta that looks like it's machine-made and tastes like it came from a can. We were quite disappointed. The service on the terrace is friendly, though. The man behind the counter might have been having a bad day.
11/08/2025: Bad food and worse service. Lasagna reheated in the microwave. Undercooked pasta, some tough and some overcooked. Although the waiters are friendly and helpful, the service is poor: they never brought the bread we ordered and the dishes were served late.

10/08/2025: Very friendly staff, spotlessly clean and well-kept place. Everything was delicious, from the appetizers to the meat. I highly recommend trying the deconstructed tiramisu, a delight!

06/05/2025: Mi marido y yo estábamos tratando de encontrar un restaurante local (no turístico) fuera de la plaza principal y nos topamos con este. Paola y Franco eran una delicia. Paola era muy cálido, amable y muy servicial. Teníamos los ravioles, seguido de un filete de 1 kg que estaba perfectamente cocinado y delicioso verdura. Luego nos regalaron biscotti (obviamente Paola se hizo) con un vino de postre.
Exactamente lo que estábamos buscando. Sin duda volveremos.

26/06/2025: Review is about the dinner - didn’t stay at the B&B. First of all it’s CASH ONLY. Just a fyi. Basically they will serve you various courses for about 40€ a head. All the food was clearly fresh and excellently prepared. We had various appetizers, 4 different pastas, 3 different meats and two different desserts

31/07/2025: Visitamos este encantador restaurante el día después de nuestra boda. Éramos dos parejas con nuestros bebés pequeños. La comida que pedimos era preciosa, el personal era brillante y todo el entorno era hermoso.
Lamentablemente, nuestra cena fue arruinada por la mesa de al lado que parecía pensar que los niños deberían ser vistos y no escuchados. Cuando esta mesa nos dijo que lleváramos a nuestros bebés afuera porque eran fuertes (NO llorando solo haciendo ruidos que no eran más fuertes que ese grupo de personas) el gerente trató con esto excepcionalmente. Solo quería decir que estamos tan agradecidos con la forma en que usted y su personal trataron este asunto, que es un crédito para su restaurante.
Y si la gente que estaba a nuestro lado está leyendo esto, entonces recuerde que puede elegir vivir una vida sin hijos, pero no puede vivir en un mundo sin hijos.
30/07/2025: Restaurant mit schöner Atmosphäre, aufgeteilt in verschiedene Räume in einem Kellergewölbe, ansprechend dekoriert und beleuchtet. Zuvorkommender Service, Speisen sehr lecker.

15/08/2025: Passing by for lunch, we ordered two very good and reasonably priced starters. On the downside, the head waiter started loudly scolding his staff, embarrassing the other diners. As soon as he saw you'd finished or was serving the table, he started yelling at his colleague to tell you to get up because he was serving the table, and to bring the bill right away.
