01/11/2023: More than positive experience. I was looking for a place to taste Chianina meat, and here I found the highest quality, an exclusive, welcoming and characteristic environment. Super friendly and helpful staff. I ate the best Chianina steak I can remember, perfectly cooked on a large wood-burning brazier, the unique flavor of locally produced meat. The mushroom and potato side dishes, as well as the excellent house red wine, further enhanced the typical taste of the local tradition. If I returned to the area, I would certainly repeat the experience, perhaps combining other typical local dishes not tasted on this occasion. Absolutely highly recommended.

22/10/2023: Arrived at 12.30 with a 4 year old girl and ate 13.50 which was shameful we had to cancel the meat because otherwise it would still be there at 8pm... zero organization in the kitchen... I won't go back again

12/08/2023: Equipped with typical riches and excellent gastronomy. The shoulder and sausages are top, the desserts and cheeses cost 10. The bread is delicious. I recommend the sauces and buy the dried wild fennel from him. It will serve you. And also a great selection of quality local wines. Old-fashioned ham and many typical features

28/02/2024: This is a fabulous restaurant, with its own distinct character. Whilst it respects Tuscan character and traditions, the menu reflects a broad experience of flavours and ideas. The food was superb, perfectly cooked and delicious. The service was excellent, and we were so pleased to meet the chef, who came to talk to us as we finished our dinner. We were made to feel more like friends visiting and sharing a meal, a truly marvellous experience.

19/01/2024: Best pizza in Cortona & on our trip! Came here for dinner and drinks, and were extremely impressed! We ordered two pizzas and a bottle of wine- the food was fantastic, well priced and in a cosy atmosphere in the centre of Cortona. Would highly recommend! Total cost was around $35 Euro

14/01/2024: Mitten im Stadtzentrum von Cortona befindet sich in einer kleinen Seitenstaße die Pizzeria mit ein paar Außen- und einigen Innenplätzen. Die Pizza war ausgesprochen gut.

11/01/2024: Dream birthday! My friends and I were welcomed by a very kind waiter who served us with a bottle of sparkling wine before being accompanied to the table. The location and above all the view of the town is spectacular. Given the event, I had requested a fixed menu with various courses, which, thanks to the availability of the owner, was adapted to my needs perfectly. Courses that later proved to live up to the name of the restaurant. Definitely a place suitable for any type of event where I hope to return soon.

17/10/2023: Bijzonder vriendelijke amicale eigenaars , personeel uitstekend . De hygiëne en onderhoud is prima . Comfortabele kamer . Het zwembad en bar is heerlijk om van te genieten ! Het ontbijt is zeeer verzorgd ! Het restaurant is top ! De ligging tussen de zonnebloemen met zicht op de bergen en Cortona is betoverend . Ruime parking beschaduwd door bomen . We hebben hier al verschillende heerlijke vakanties genoten !

19/12/2023: Frequento da anni questa trattoria che possiamo definire ristorante se preferite ma d’altronde perché interessarsi di una etichetta quando ogni piatto è sempre quello che ti aspetti se non oltre. Passione e dedizione, qualità e servizio, ottimi vini ed io personalmente mi sento anche sempre in famiglia. Consigliatissimo, grazie di esistere !

03/12/2023: We ate well and drank better, typical Tuscan/Umbrian cuisine perhaps, the black truffle was really good, the meat melted in your mouth! Friendly waiter, rustic and warm location! Advised

03/04/2024: We had a wonderful stay at Corte Dei Papi. The staff upgraded our room free of charge when we arrived and were always available and helpful whenever we needed anything. The owner served us during dinner and informed us about their top notch wines that they produce themselves. The food and wine were delicious and fairly priced in their cozy and atmospheric restaurant. I cannot recommend this place enough if you’re planning a trip to Tuscany!
