Liliana moved from Naples to Cortona and brought with her the Neapolitan hospitality and culinary expertise. Plus, top-quality ingredients. I've been coming here for years and will always return. My son and I will never stop coming back.

29/08/2025: A wonderful location. Fantastic food of the highest quality, decidedly gourmet but plentiful. Excellent wine. The chef coming to say hello is fantastic. The lady in charge of the dining room is truly a lady. The surprise of the divine ambrosia at the end. We were there a few years ago. We'll be back.

08/08/2025: Dining at Ambrosia Restaurant in Cortona was an incredible culinary experience! The location is quaint and welcoming, and the dishes are superb in quality, flavors, presentation, and food pairing. But what made the experience even more special was Chef Matteo, who is not only an impeccable professional but also a warm and passionate person. We had the pleasure of attending one of his cooking classes and were won over by his passion and ability to share knowledge. I highly recommend this restaurant to food lovers, to anyone looking for a high-quality culinary experience and a welcoming atmosphere.

25/08/2025: Lovely atmosphere, welcoming and professional. We ate on the patio and it was very pleasant. The typical Tuscan food was excellent. I recommend it. The tavern is located in a square where there's no parking, but there's a large free parking lot nearby.

24/08/2025: I won't be returning. I paid for a full bottle, which I didn't consume, and I didn't have the option to take it home. I didn't like the truffle cream. The bruschetta was two slices of bread cut in half for 6 euros. I didn't like the rosé wine by the glass; it was sour.

08/06/2025: Very nice place to go and eat. You really sit among the locals. The service is great, they take the time to have a chat and are genuinely interested in you. The quality of the pizzas is excellent, thin stone oven pizzas. And the prices are normal to cheap compared to the Netherlands. In addition, a live DJ who provides the music. All in all a must see if you are in the area!

26/07/2025: A Truly Magical Stay at Il Falconiere We had the most unforgettable experience at Il Falconiere — from the moment we arrived, everything was just perfect. The property itself is stunning, with incredible attention to detail in every corner. You can really feel the care and thought that's gone into creating such a beautiful and welcoming atmosphere. A special mention must go to Daniela at the pool — she was so warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. Always smiling and attentive, she made relaxing by the pool feel like an experience in itself. The breakfast team was equally amazing. Every morning felt like a treat — the food was delicious, beautifully presented, and the service was flawless. They managed to strike that rare balance of elegance and comfort that makes you feel truly at home while being thoroughly pampered. There’s something about Il Falconiere that’s hard to put into words — it’s not just a hotel, it’s an experience. The staff, the setting, the food, the little details… it all comes together so effortlessly. We can’t wait to return.

16/07/2025: Lovely yet very expensive and very remote. The breakfast is exceptional and while the restaurant is acclaimed we found the six course meal to be over the top. Everything cost a fortune. 2 of us did yoga for 130 euro. Crazy. The staff is friendly and the setting is to die for. The rooms are nice but not great. Pool and spa are fine. Many mosquitos. Bring bug spray. It’s very nice but prepare to leave with an empty wallet.

15/05/2025: Maritim eingerichtet, auf Fisch spezialisiert, supernettes Team, dass offensichtlich mit viel Spass und Liebe am arbeiten sind. Wir waren rundum zufrieden, Egal ob Vorspeisen, Hauptgänge oder Nachtisch, alles sehr sehr lecker und das Ananas Tiramisu eine Entdeckung 😋😋😋😋😋

07/09/2025: Adequate service, a quiet and pleasant atmosphere with outdoor seating available. The Fufluns appetizer is very good and highly recommended. The thin and crispy pizza is also excellent.

19/08/2025: Last night we went to this wonderful restaurant for dinner. We traveled from Rome after reading the reviews, and on Sunday evening, just looking at it from the outside convinced us! On Monday evening, in a unique setting, Chef Romano and his team welcomed us, pampering us from start to finish! Two delicious appetizers (a creamy pecorino and truffle tart, but I'm too shy to call it that), a delicate beef carpaccio, and the FIORENTINA! The real thing! The one you eat and don't say "enough!", the one cooked to perfection, thick and tender. All washed down with Montepulciano! We thank the team for making our evening so enjoyable, the entire kitchen, and Chef Romano! We'll definitely be back!

The side dishes like the fresh mushrooms as a specialty of the day were impeccable. Many thanks to all the staff, the owner is very kind.

23/06/2025: Abbiamo pranzato nel locale e siamo stati bene. Le stanze sono meravigliose e ampie con un ristrutturazione fatta molto bene. Una piccola e deliziosa piscina in un bel prato,tutto curato nei minimi dettagli. Personale molto disponibile ed appassionato. Grazie, abbiamo trascorso un bel fine settimana
