14/02/2025: Dovevamo scegliere un locale per il ricevimento del nostro matrimonio. Abbiamo visitato la Campana d'Oro, e, oltre all'ambiente molto bello ed accogliente, siamo stati conquistati dalla passione con cui Antonella ci ha illustrato l'ambiente, i prodotti e la sua idea di come potevamo organizzare la serata. Abbiamo accettato di buon grado e ne siamo felici, perché la serata è riuscita alla perfezione! L'ambiente è stato preparato con cura,I piatti serviti ottimi con materie prime di qualità, il personale gentilissimo che ha "sopportato" canti e balli di ogni genere. Una menzione speciale per la birra, prodotta da loro, veramente buona! Nella giornata per noi così importante, era fondamentale che tutto andasse bene, e così è stato. Credo che il Casentino debba puntare su attività come questa per ripartire col turismo (e non solo) puntando sulla qualità. Grazie ancora ad Antonella ed a tutto lo staff!

We visited the Golden Bell, and, in addition to the very beautiful and welcoming environment, we were won over by the passion with which Antonella illustrated the environment, the products and her idea of ​​how we could organize the evening. We willingly accepted and we are happy about it, because the evening went perfectly! The environment was prepared with care, the dishes served were excellent with quality raw materials, the staff were very kind and could "endure" singing and dancing of all kinds. A special mention for the beer, produced by them, really good! On such an important day for us, it was essential that everything went well, and so it did. I believe that Casentino must focus on activities like this to restart tourism (and not only) by focusing on quality. Thanks again to Antonella and all the staff!

07/01/2025: Excellent overall. Very good appetizers. We tasted several. The cod is notable. The first courses are also very good. Exhaustive and well-made wine list. Desserts well presented but with little personality... tiramisu and hot cheesecake, my opinion. The only downside was the long wait immediately after ordering. In fact, to avoid this, we had ordered the starter of the day before the other two starters. The hunger and desire for good food were all there. But alas we were brought there about 40 minutes later. We enjoy the evening, the environment and the excellent company but then the wait becomes slightly too much. Excellent overall as written, but it would be excellent if their cuisine could reduce waiting times a little.

23/02/2025: Happened by chance while we were wandering around Cortona..incredible town for its views!!..we hadn't booked..and it was Saturday evening!! But the owner, an exquisite person, still made us sit in comfortable armchairs and from there we were able to order our dishes. My steak with porcini mushrooms was... DIVINE!!! not to mention the local oil that they paired with us. Excellent raw materials. Elegant and refined environment Excellent service

23/12/2024: Avevo molte aspettative su questo ristorante. E qualcuna è stata disattesa. Ci è piaciuto l'ambiente, il locale, la vista e ci sono piaciuti molto alcuni piatti del menu "in profondità ": le sfere sono state un'esplosione di sensazioni e ho trovato ottime le animelle al limone nero e l'insalatina selvaggia con sorbetto all'aceto di peperone, accompagnata da un delizioso pane croccante I piatti si sono caratterizzati per accostamenti insoliti e In alcuni abbiamo trovato una prevalenza di sapori forti , talora aspri e con note amare. Poco significativa e deludente la parte dessert. Pienamente d'accordo sul discorso natura, erbe, fiori eccetera, ma, per chi, come noi, è nato nella campagna e vissuto sempre in mezzo a prati e boschi, queste atmosfere sono normali. Ho letto tanto entusiasmo per Marta, che ha guidato la degustazione di diversi commensali. Noi l'abbiamo vista all'inizio e alla fine del nostro percorso. I nostri accompagnatori sono stati essenziali. Forse se avessimo avuto l'accompagnamento di Marta, avrebbe dato un senso ai vari piatti, ne avrebbe illustrato meglio le caratteristiche e avremmo potuto apprezzarli appieno.

02/11/2024: A modern gem in the middle of the Casentino forests. Restaurant with open kitchen and innovative approach while using local ingredients and partly grown by them. We also stayed in the adjoining farmhouse and had a great time finding excellent value for money (large room with fireplace and sauna). Excellent escape route in Emilia Romagna!

11/02/2025: Soğuk bir kış gününde son derece sakin Cortona da bize sıcak bir saat veren mekan. Geleneksel bir kırmızı et tercih ettik. Oldukça lezzetliydi. Personel ilgili ve Güler yüzlü davrandı. Eski cortonanin merkez girişinde, bulunması hayli kolay. Meydanın çok yakınında. Mekanın atmosferi de kendisi gibi sıcacıktı. Biz beğendik.

08/02/2025: We returned to Buca di Michelangelo for New Year's Eve 2024, after having had lunch here in July 2024 and having had an excellent experience. This time too we found abundant, tasty and quality dishes, served by friendly, fast and attentive staff. We stayed in the hotel and the rooms were clean, welcoming and comfortable, perfect for resting after the celebrations. A special thank you to Annalisa, the manager's daughter, always kind and helpful, and to Mr. Alessandro (manager of the facility), who made us feel at home with his friendliness. On January 1st we had planned to have lunch, but after the abundant dinner we preferred to return for dinner, once again finding excellent cuisine and a pleasant atmosphere. We highly recommend Buca di Michelangelo to anyone looking for good food, hospitality and quality. We will definitely be back! Thank you very much and see you soon!

20/02/2025: After six years of frequenting I can say with rock-solid certainty that the historic dishes of this restaurant have never undergone variations or drops in quality, a very rare quality for a restaurant; good prices and excellent desserts. The fish, among other things, has the same high quality as the meat and is really tasty! In short, there is no weak point!
