A quaint restaurant run by an enterprising young couple. I tasted the care and passion for this work in every dish I ate. The menu isn't overly extensive, but the ingredients are of the highest quality. The service is friendly but attentive. Highly recommended.

Had the most delicious lunch today - so unexpected! We let our hostess choose a bottle of bright, white wine (she chose a San Gemignano by Capella Saint Andrea; the Clara Stella - perfetto!) and we had a delicious Primi that was a poached egg in a cheese sauce with mandolin sliced Asparagus finished with some nuts and crunch tostato then we had the ravioli of the day (spinach & ricotta topped with mushrooms in olive oil) and the sliced filet (perfect crusted rare) with rosemary potate and finished with tiramisu and a warm Apple cake with crème - Fantastico; definitely dine here!

Nestled in the village of Anghiari, this winery was a wonderful discovery. Exceptional ingredients, from local cured meats to carefully crafted pasta dishes, including a superb roast rabbit. A welcoming atmosphere, attentive staff, and impeccable service. An authentic gastronomic experience worth the trip.

Ristorante Il Cerro

03/05/2026: An excellent dining experience at this historic restaurant in Caprese Michelangelo, family-run for decades and offering a very good value. Start with a house platter, accompanied by warm, freshly fried focaccia, a delicious truffle salad, warm soufflés, and fried porcini mushrooms. The first courses are homemade and fully reflect the flavors of the region. Second courses include grilled pork, veal, and lamb, or, for those who prefer, a plate of local cheeses. You can finish on a sweet note with creamy custards, biscotti, or homemade tartlets. Oh... the house wine from nearby Umbria is highly recommended. Much credit to Alfredo, his partner, and their entire staff!
30/04/2026: We went to Cerro for lunch, and had a mixed antipasto and two first courses. The dishes were truly delicious. The hint of porcini mushrooms in the dishes was wonderful! The setting is very beautiful and well-kept.
