A good, non-touristy restaurant in the heart of Ortigia, with a selection of wines and locally sourced produce sourced directly from the owner's farm. The eggplant rolls and cannoli topping are excellent. Prices are absolutely reasonable.

Fantastic farm-to-table small restaurant. I found it purely by chance, following the aroma of freshly roasted vegetables. The taste was even better than smell: everything from antipasto to dessert was delicious

Honestly, it's good, but if you have a big appetite, you'll leave hungry. The main course is very small for the price; you have to order three desserts to feel full.

We had lunch with a group of friends and tried several dishes on the menu.
"Aunt Carmela's" cuisine is exceptional, as is the impeccable welcome and service, led by the talented Flavio, the dining room manager.
I recommend trying the caponata, the meatballs in tomato sauce, the tuna meatballs, the scabbardfish rolls, and the delicious tiramisu.
In my opinion, this place is for those who love good, authentic cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere.
We'll be back!

Visited this place during our Sicilian trip. I would give this place 4.5* review only due to the service which was lacking some details that you would expect in a nicer restaurant. The interior was slick, lots of attention put into details. I really liked the overall atmosphere of the place. The restaurant is not big but they found us a table without a reservation.
We ordered pasta, wild pig stake and salads and we really enjoyed our food.
