01/11/2025: The pizza was disappointing, the ingredients were below expectations, there was a hole in the middle, and the whole thing was completely tasteless. The fries were rubbery and cold. The wait was exorbitant, with an hour's delay... an experience not to be repeated.

21/09/2025: I stopped by because I missed Korean food while living in Syracuse for a month. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was!!! I think I'll be stopping by often for the rest of my stay :) I highly recommend it.

21/08/2025: Spectacular service by staff and kitchen. Very good food, great wine and impeccable service. Best option (outside the tourist area ) of Ortigia.

27/06/2025: Overpriced. The first set of food was served very quickly, but we waited more than an hour for a burger. When I asked for takeaway because I wasn't hungry anymore after that much time, we waited 15 minutes more and it was still not done. In the end I had to insist on paying cause we just wanted to go home, and they didn't want to give us the bill before food. After more insisting, I finally paid so I could go home (they didn't charge the burger tho). I understand that mistakes happen, but this is not the way to handle them. They could just tell us that miscommunication happened between the waiter and the kitchen and ask if we still want it, we would say no, pay what we have until then, and it will be fine. Overall, a very exhausting experience.

08/09/2025: The small shop is run by an elderly lady and her husband. Both were very nice and even spoke German. The food was really good, and the prices were more than fair. The shop is clean, but the ambiance is quite plain and simple. If you're expecting a Michelin-starred restaurant, this is the wrong place. But if you're looking for a small shop with friendly hosts and simple, yet good, affordable food, this is the place.

06/09/2025: I have a 4-year-old who URGENTLY needs to go to the bathroom, and the owner keeps depriving him of it just because we didn't buy anything from her! Shame on you. But I should have left the penny tip just to contribute to your savings and buy you a little bit of kindness! Zero humanity!

24/08/2025: If you want to eat the best, tastiest, and most succulent sandwiches in Marzamemi, then you absolutely have to come to Zia Lea! Excellent sandwiches, from hamburgers to hot dogs, excellent service, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and great prices! If you happen to be in Marzamemi on vacation or otherwise and pass by Zia Lea, don't miss the opportunity! You won't regret it!

07/09/2025: The food was always very good, but the waitress was so rude that it would have been better to call the bar owner and ask for an explanation as to why she was behaving so rudely toward a customer. We sat down and asked for granitas. One almond and one ricotta, with a bit of chocolate granita on top. The lady serving us didn't understand this last request, and we explained it to her without any problem. It didn't seem like a difficult request to understand, especially since mixed granitas like this are very popular in Syracuse. The waitress then asked a lady next to us at another table, "Did you understand what they wanted?" and the lady replied, "Chocolate granita." We were left incredulous and bewildered. Asking someone who had nothing to do with anything to intervene was unprofessional and created a very obvious discomfort, and the lady sitting at her table wasn't required to respond because the waitress was serving us. This was very rude towards us customers, because if you don't understand the request, you don't call external customers, but the owner. But we let it go, thinking it could happen, maybe she was just confused. Then the order arrived, and she asked us if it was the right granita, and we replied that everything was correct. But then this happened. When we politely and politely asked for a straw, her response was, "Now you're asking too much!" in a very annoyed manner, confidently saying that it hadn't been asked for and as if it were an absurd request, it would have been better to get up and leave everything on the table, faced with such disrespectful behavior. Never It had happened in many popular bars and clubs. The waitress didn't even apologize, and we were left speechless and deeply disappointed. If she couldn't or didn't want to, we could have just said so and we would have understood. No one asked for anything. We could have understood if we had been disrespectful. We didn't ask for explanations and preferred to leave as quickly as possible, but at the cashier we should have, and perhaps could, done something. We don't know if anyone would have listened to us, but above all, we didn't want to cause further inconvenience given the way we were treated. It's possible that she had a bad day or maybe she was nervous, but you don't treat customers like that; they were kind and helpful to her. Politeness comes first in any job. Several months ago, the staff was really kind and courteous.

26/11/2025: Booked with TheFork (50%) discount. The quality/price ratio was poor. Unfortunately, the service charge (€3 per person) was a bit cheesy and "overturned" the discount logic. 2 carbonaras and 1 water: €23, of which €9 was just for service and water. The carbonara was salty, and the table was not cleaned properly, as shown in the photo. The staff was friendly and helpful. Needs improvement...

01/11/2025: Had a few meals here. Lunch and dinner. Some excellent lamb chops. My wife had the Gnocchi. Also an excellent Aperol Spritz. The guys are fun. Excellent English.

11/12/2025: Overall the ice cream was good, I'll definitely be back if I'm in the area.

29/11/2025: A now almost historic ice cream shop in Syracuse, recently run by a young, friendly, and welcoming couple. A wide selection of excellent ice creams, friendly service, and a fair price/quality ratio. Recommended.

31/08/2025: We were heading off to bed without pretensions after strutting through the streets of Syracuse. And then, a stroke of genius: we stumbled upon this bar next to our hotel. We walked in without pretension, took an order, and sat down at a table. I've never seen such a good alcohol-to-price ratio, since my €7 caipirinha was full of alcohol. At the same time, served by the owner with a cigarette in his mouth, I couldn't have expected better. Besides, I thought the owner smoked at the bar from time to time: he managed to knock back a carton before closing time. I wouldn't want to be his lungs, as black as Tom Riddle's mind. Given our good humor and our fighting spirit, the owner even offered us shots! He performed a superb sleight of hand by setting the bar on fire, as well as the mixed glass in his hand. The waitress was also very helpful, offering us a bowl of potatoes I think 10 times, enough to make the Irish pale during the famous famine. Special mention to the Sudanese waiter who thought the French were weak, but no way. He probably drank as many glasses as we did while still doing his job perfectly, hats off to the artist. In the end, this bar is like a potato lying around among the fries at McDonald's; it's the result of a poor separation so that, in the end, it enhances our fries.

09/11/2025: Competitively priced and strategically located. However, it is currently in need of renovation. But I think that would be difficult given the cost of accommodation.

11/11/2025: Nice campsite with fresh bread every morning and a mini-market. Clean showers. Unfortunately, there were a lot of mosquitoes during our stay in early November. Beautiful beach right next to the campsite.

02/11/2025: We stayed one night in October, and overall it was okay. Surrounded by beautiful greenery, the bathrooms are fairly new and generally clean. Bread and croissants are available in the morning upon reservation. With a membership card, we paid €23 plus tax. Not bad.

02/11/2025: A very negative experience. They're trying to run a restaurant with truly terrible results, but the worst part is the presence of a rude Roman waiter who offends the customers, and the owners don't even notice, letting him happily wait at the tables. They're rightly used to animals. They simply said "sorry." Shame. Luckily, they'll never see us again, and we won't recommend it to anyone.

20/10/2025: A place surrounded by greenery, fresh and clean air, everything you eat is produced by them. Good food, very affordable prices, excellent service especially the girl (black bob hair whose name I unfortunately don't remember, a real treasure) who takes care of the dining room. We will be back.

25/07/2025: Io e la mia amica durante il nostro soggiorno a Marzamemi, ci siamo rilassate in riva al mare ordinando 2 birre Messina, 1 porzione di fritto misto (veramente abbondante) e 1 porzione di patatine fritte. Spesa totale € 47. Il locale è veramente carino e regala un bellissimo tramonto.

24/07/2025: Cucina pessima per giunta a prezzi assolutamente inadeguati alla qualità..non c'è altro da dire, il servizio cortese e celere, ma non basta.
