21/08/2024: Despite the friendly welcome, the experience proved disappointing. Terrible room-kitchen communication and medium-low quality of dishes (2 margherita pizzas and 1 homemade pizza with chopped pistachios and prawns not received, except for a few which were still frozen). Added to this is that the dishes were not served at the same time and with considerable waiting times.

20/08/2024: If I could I would give zero stars, ordered 2 appetizers and 3 first courses (one non-fish) an appetizer and the meat dish arrived after 1 hour, we kindly ask for parmesan, it never arrived; waiting for the second appetizer we begin to divide the only appetizer we find on the table of poor quality (inedible baby meatballs).... after more than 45 minutes a fish first course arrives??? We sent it back and asked for clarification on the starter that never arrived. We decide to get up and not wait for the first ones. Terrible organization and terrible food.

16/08/2024: I just stepped out of the resort and I have to say that I was really dissatisfied and shocked. The resort is in a shocking state of decay. Flaw in cleanliness, flaw in food. The food was really unpleasant and the portions were also really small. I asked for something that was off the menu and they told me they couldn't fulfill what I asked for. The tables and chairs were really dirty, I found the crumbs left from the previous lunch on the table. The rooms were really dirty, not suitable for people with children. They also didn't give pasta for the children. I was really dissatisfied. I'll never set foot in there again.

12/08/2024: I just returned from the resort, the food is normal, but the waiters and the waiters are exquisite, good and polite. I was happy to have the opportunity to have an encore of the first courses etc. Not a great choice for the children but if I asked to take the adults' food they immediately satisfied me. TOP animation all very good we had too much fun the head animator was really great but also the girls, we spent 3 days well. The taps and beds and chair covers in the restaurant need improvement. I'm sure they will improve. We had a beautiful San Lorenzo with good fireworks and fun.

20/08/2024: Highly recommended bar, everything excellent and perfect, the calzone and the Pizzoli are excellent, and the cocktails made very well especially by the very sweet owner 🥰

20/08/2024: After the response: 20 euros were spent in the restaurant, of which the receipt is attached, for 5 ignoble granitas served ignobly at an ignoble cost. And the answer demonstrates well those who live with frustrations 🤣 yellow granita and foul language 🤣🤣 Kisses Table service without any care, the lady shouts with polite language, running chaotically with the staff, stopping people who go to the toilet to ask if they are sitting at the table (warning the toilet that it is only available for customers). 4 euro lemon granita, sour and yellow (the first time you see it yellow in Sicily), without art or part, made by the mixer placed on the counter. Gem: the lady at the checkout comments out loud in amazement at the negative reviews received on Google. Great professionals, blessed innocence! 🤣🤣🤣

25/07/2024: We went for dinner, we ordered a bit of everything, the seafood salad had no flavour, the pasta was too al dente and tasteless, the owner was very friendly, in fact I think it's the only strong point together with the service, the bill was too expensive, low quality and exaggerated prices

30/08/2024: Excellent! All very good! Every time I return to Ortigia, an obligatory stop, I ate a fish soup, spaghetti with swordfish and cherry tomatoes, a Sicilian salad and to say that it was all excellent is an understatement.......5 stars!

29/08/2024: Said day One pizza was okay maybe a 3 2 was a sink on Bred, Wine Got servede in the glas, and was only good for salat, the kids an the floor did okay but the Leader Got more folks to go then stay, Said the croust was okay 😉

21/08/2024: Restaurant\Bar in the center of Noto. A margherita, a granita and two croissants €19. Excellent lemon granita but small glass. Good quality pizza. Bad bad when it came to the bill. Due to the lack of wi-fi, the only option was cash and it's a good thing, given that we almost always pay by card, that we had one. Such inefficiencies must be communicated beforehand and not at the time of paying the bill.

21/08/2024: Nonostante le ultime recensioni, abbiamo voluto provare questo ristorante. Location molto suggestiva purtroppo però porzioni davvero molto scarse per un prezzo molto alto.

17/08/2024: Location molto bella per il resto no comment. Abbiamo cenato con 4 primi,porzioni molto povere. Lasciamo stare la pasta allo scoglio che era penosa! Aveva ben 4 vongole 😞 e 3 tentacoli di calamaro. Un calice scarso di vino rosso DELLA CASA 8 €. 3 € per una Caraffa da 1L ( no bottiglia) di acqua. Il Dolce una Cassata Siciliana Mignon 8 € Il tutto contornato da 3 € di coperto a persona. Capisco che si lavora solamente in stagione ma non fregate i clienti così ! 4 primi 91 Euro !! Assurdo

28/08/2024: Ended up here after finding everywhere in the market full. We arrived early lunchtime and the place was empty. The food was actually pretty good. The staff were great too. Good choice of pasta and pizza, but also salads and meat options. There was a small service charge added to the bill (noted by an earlier reviewer) but at €1 per person, can't really complain about that. The prices are very reasonable. The restaurant itself is smart with tables inside and out.

26/08/2024: Not recommended, avoid like the plague! Yet another restaurant to fleece tourists. Two of us ordered: 1 sparkling water (€?); 1/2 white wine (€14); 2 first courses (€31); 1 second course (€22); Cover charge (€3x2) and he doesn't even bring bread. He charged us €80. Furthermore, it uses a completely inappropriate type of fresh pasta that resembles Roman tonnarello. I often go to Ortigia and unfortunately he is not the only profiteering trader. It's a shame because Syracuse deserves better.

26/08/2024: Family bar with delicious food at a very affordable price. The pasta carbonara was very good, as was the pistachio-filled cake. The staff is very attentive and friendly.

15/07/2024: The food and the serving woman are ok. When I finished eating and was paying, he threw the receipt away. I had two 4-euro beers, but I found out later that the bill was 5-euro. I wonder if the locals do the same. The price calculation is a mess, and the discriminatory treatment is rubbish. This is my first time experiencing something like this at this house during my month-long trip to Italy. If you don't want to have an unpleasant experience, never visit this house.
