28/09/2025: Yesterday, September 27th, I shopped at Md. When I went to the checkout, the cashier added 5 items from the previous person to my shopping list, for a total of 10 euros. These items I hadn't bought and were paid for by me. Therefore, I was scammed. Unfortunately, I didn't call the police because I can't prove it since I had already brought the shopping home. Only then did I look at the receipt and realize it was a scam. Emanuele Cappuccio. Be careful with cashiers!

06/07/2025: Assolutamente da non prendere le linguine al gambero rosso. Ci siamo ritrovate con una pasta scarsa, con pochi gamberetti in stile surgelato che non avevano nulla a che vedere col gambero rosso di Mazara. Trappola per turisti

05/07/2025: Convinti delle recensioni piuttosto positive prenotiamo in questo ristorante che effettivamente è situato in posizione strategica e molto bella ma gli aspetti positivi finiscono qui! Servizio molto lento anche se presenti parecchie cameriere. Abbiamo dovuto attendere per avere l’acqua successivamente per avere il vino e le pietanze. Il primo è arrivato quando avevamo ancora i piatti dell’antipasto. Per quanto riguarda il cibo: abbastanza buono l’antipasto “di Ercole” mentre i primi assolutamente no. Le busiate allo scoglio erano brodose, il pesce volendo c’era ma cucinato così è uno spreco. Le busiate alle sarde molto forti di sapore, non le ho apprezzate. Prezzo direi non adeguato2 antipasti, 3 primi, mezzo litro di vino della casa 111 euro.

27/10/2025: I had a cup of white chocolate and cremino for the first time. The white chocolate tasted horrible, like it had gone bad. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and went back for the same flavors. Now I've been in bed for two days with gastroenteritis that's destroying my stomach, probably due to that ice cream. Avoid!

13/09/2025: The ice cream was good, and the cone was well-made. Unfortunately, I noticed that the person preparing the ice cream touched part of the cone with their hand over the napkin, so there was direct contact with their hand. It would be better to pay a little more attention to hygiene during preparation.

27/09/2025: Pasta is quite good. Limited variety. Not that attentive to tourists. Went 2 nights and first was reasonable, but was served vinegar red wine on the second. Limited attention to quality and good food. A bit over priced

08/09/2025: We came here for lunch with friends after a brief visit to Palazzolo in August. The experience was incredibly positive: two of us ate gluten-free, and both the wait staff and the kitchen went out of their way to accommodate us. We had two amazing first courses (mine with delicious sun-dried tomatoes!), house antipasti, and two salads, both of which were also fantastic.

16/04/2025: This place is to be absolutely avoided. Neglected and very dirty environment. Just look at the state of the chairs. Children's area that hasn't been cleaned for months. Rude owners and staff. Never again. Very sad evening. Don't go.

27/03/2025: I had a wonderful evening with a pizza tour that was nothing short of exceptional: rich, tasty, and delicious. Impeccable service. The place was spotless, and after this first time, I'll gladly return. I recommend it to everyone.

The sandwiches are made with fresh, tasty, and well-balanced ingredients—every bite is satisfying. The atmosphere is casual, young, and relaxed—perfect for a quick dinner with friends.

27/08/2025: Often, when I don't have time to prepare dinner, I go to this sandwich shop for something. The staff is very kind. It's a shame that the hamburger I ate last night gave me severe bacterial gastroenteritis. I understand the amount of work involved, but please be more careful with storage temperatures and especially with cooking.

29/10/2025: A very positive experience during my week's vacation with my wife. A clean, quiet property with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Cristina and the entire staff were generously available, even with tourist information. The best part was the breakfast, which was good but lacked Sicilian products, and the option of dining on site occasionally. Overall, I highly recommend it and would gladly return. Maurizio

26/07/2025: We just spent three pleasant nights in this quiet agritourism lodge, yet not too far from the town center. A warm welcome and dedicated staff. We recommend the homemade meal (excellent value for money).

01/10/2025: A shop that doesn't justify its high prices... the fact that it's vacuum-packed is why they don't sell.

27/09/2025: What a wonderful delicatessen in Syracuse this is! A wide selection of everything: pasta in all shapes and sizes, a complete honey collection, wine, exquisite cured meats, and everything you need to cook top-notch Italian food—truly top-notch and therefore a bit more expensive, although you can also find good pasta for just €1.65 per 500 grams! It's also worth checking out.

16/11/2025: Although it's still outdone by a few locals, the place has now lost all semblance of authenticity. The "Palazzolo wild boar" tasted like banal pork, and the €14 appetizer "for two" was clearly a single portion. I'd say we've quenched our curiosity: they'll never see us again.

16/11/2025: We ordered the grilled wild boar. The sausage was drowned in red wine, and the ribs were pork (even though the menu specified all wild boar). We asked the waiters about the nature of the meat, and they reiterated that it was all wild boar. I doubt we'll be back.

09/10/2025: Fantastic sandwiches and boards, incredible value for money, the portions are huge. Service is 'Italian style' so don't expect frills.

27/09/2025: The panini was okay, but the service was terrible. Ordered at the bar because we couldn't wait for a waiter. The table wasn't cleared. The ordered coffee wasn't served. Of course, the coperto was added for nothing.

25/08/2025: My daughter and I went for a walk, in the meantime it's time to eat, and where I take my puppy to the Granata sandwich shop, my daughter fell in love with the hot dog you make, as she says, it's really special, I ate a delicious sandwich, what can I say tonight fixed place same time.

22/08/2025: I'm on vacation, my daughter wants to eat a hot dog, we order hot dog fries, a sandwich with ham and sauces, in its simplicity everything is excellent, friendly, the view is wonderful, you sit and look at the sea, what more do you want besides excellent food.

14/08/2025: I went in to get a bottle of water from the fridge at the entrance, and the owner outside yelled that I had to pay first. I didn't pay any attention at the time, as he was outside and I was concentrating on getting water from the fridge, being very thirsty (the place wasn't crowded at all, in fact, empty). Since he was standing outside the door, I didn't think he was mad at me (also because he was referring to several people outside; I had already entered). He looked like a customer, and I wasn't expecting a bar owner to start yelling like he did at a local market. So I went to get water from the fridge, and he told me to "don't be so arrogant," translated from Sicilian, when I hadn't even considered it in the first place. Then he proceeds to (still yelling) say that the water isn't cold because it was just put in, so in his opinion there was no point in me taking it, as if I had the ability to predict before entering the bar whether the water in the fridge had been put in recently or a long time ago, without first touching it. I always drink it at room temperature, so he started yelling pointlessly at a potential customer. Due to his manner, I told him that this was no way to treat customers, and he even said I was disrespectful (I didn't yell or insult him at all, unlike him), when he literally yelled at me two seconds after entering the bar. Finally, as I was about to pay, I told him that if he kept going, I'd go to another bar. As soon as the transaction turned green on the POS, he told me with a haughty air that there weren't any other bars open at the moment, since it was night. In reality, all I had to do was take a couple of steps outside and there were plenty of them. One of the meanest owners I've ever met, I will never feel the need to enter this place again!

24/08/2025: Very disappointed. We sat down and the place wasn't crowded. They gave us a table, which they set up with glasses and cutlery only after bringing water and cola. After a very long wait, only my boyfriend's pizza arrived. Mine didn't arrive, so we asked what had happened... it had been forgotten. The quality of the food wasn't great; the pizzas were small and had very few toppings, but above all, they were expensive. The guy taking our order talked to us as if we'd known each other forever. I don't recommend it. It's a shame because the location is beautiful and so is the point.

21/08/2025: The first thing I got was a dirty beer glass. Luckily, the beer came in a bottle, so it was noticeable. My pizza was good. My friend's pasta dish was unfortunately unseasoned and overall not a "burner." My friend ordered a vegetarian calzone. We arrived when the restaurant opened. He was told 10 minutes after ordering that the spinach was out. Then he had to order another dish. He chose a pizza capricosa. Unfortunately, no artichoke, olives, or salami. Just ham, egg, and mushrooms. Conclusion: No recommendations.
