02/08/2024: Highly recommended! If you're in the area, check it out. A real authentic place, with a fantastic boss lady who gave us a soft drink after ordering in the heat. It's good to see that there are still such real, full-blooded caterers. The place is clean, the pizza is extra delicious. Try!!

20/08/2024: You are shameful as well as not deserving stars, you don't even deserve to put out tables and to pass yourself off as a restaurant is a luxury that you shouldn't even see on television. Not to mention the rudeness that a RESTAURANT would not even imagine having towards customers. Then showing up in slippers and a sweaty t-shirt says it all. SHAME. It's not my habit to get up from the table and leave.

20/08/2024: Really bad. Let me start by saying that I am Sicilian and I know the difference between a decent dish and one that isn't. I'm giving one star because obviously you can't do less. My 10 year old brother would have cooked better that plate of spaghetti with clams that I paid €12!!!!. It looked like dog food, and neither. I don't think I've eaten so badly in my life. For the good of the world, these places should be revisited, because it really takes very little effort to do better than this. This place isn't a tourist trap, it's a sucker trap, and I felt like a fool for having dined in this place.

12/08/2024: Hotel well located in relation to the attractions that Syracuse offers. Structure that is a few decades old but partially recovered. Very kind and friendly staff, good breakfast included Room with double bed for single use of the right size, equipped with mini fridge and air conditioning. Hotel equipped with parking spaces (limited number) but located in an area (Corso Gelone) with only a partial blue zone (the structure is also surrounded by white zones) Overall satisfied with the stay. 03/08/2024: If you want to find quality, courtesy, kindness, education, you have to go to Aretusa Palace Hotel Joli. Fantastic staff, very polite and full of human values, ready to fulfill customer requests. In particular, I would like to sincerely thank the girl on duty at around 6.45pm when I arrived, I hope she has some gratification. Endlessly recommended 🤗🤗

15/08/2024: Abbiamo aspettato i cappuccini per 20 minuti. Abbiamo sollecitato più volte ma ci rispondevano che li stavano facendo… e il locale non era neanche pieno. Inoltre all’interno il pavimento era pieno di tovaglioli, bicchieri di plastica e resti di cibo. Davvero una brutta impressione!

23/07/2024: Ci siamo fermati in questo locale per un gelato, in quanto ci era stato consigliato da persone del posto. Gelato discreto, ma non eccezionale. La cosa che ci ha veramente urtato è stata la maleducazione e arroganza di una cameriera bionda alla cassa. Sia al momento del pagamento, sia quando in precedenza avevamo chiesto informazioni in merito alle granite. Gentilissima invece l'altra ragazza che serviva ai tavoli. Da non ripetere.

06/08/2024: Prezzi inauditi, due pizze da prezzo medio, in altre location, di circa 6/7 euro ciascuna me le hanno fatte pagare 19 €. Coperto con umidità per due persone 6 € una bottiglia d'acqua e una birra base per la cifra complessiva di 33,00 €. Due persone. Ma scherziamo? Scelto per comodità visto che mi trovavo nei paraggi ma mai più!!!! Vergognoso.

18/07/2024: Ho preso delle pizze da asporto...a parte il prezzo esorbitante..ma almeno fossero state di qualità...sconsiglio vivamente..mi spiace avere buttato i soldi per una pizza cosi

21/08/2024: September 2022 - I forgot to post this review. I did not particularly like the decor of the ice cream shop. Normal ice cream, you can barely feel the taste of the ice cream, not very creamy. Really good price.

16/08/2024: It is the only bar in the Avola square, with an excellent assortment of breakfasts. As well as being the only bar with air-conditioned indoor seating. It's not that visible as a bar, in fact after several mornings we approached it and it was a nice discovery.

17/07/2024: Durch Zufall drauf gestoßen, weil wir nichts anderes finden konnten, das noch offen hatte 14:15 Uhr ca.) Ausgezeichnetes Essen zu einem guten Preis - Bruschetta al pomodoro, Cozze a zuppa zum Niederknien, Spaghetti alle vongole & Spaghetti al nero di seppia (ganz frisch). Service war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Der Ausblick auf Syrakus ist wunderschön und lässt einen den leider verdreckten Strand neben dem Lokal (gehört nicht dazu!) fast übersehen. Das Lokal selbst ist sehr groß und etwas "verwinkelt", aber sauber. Wir haben draußen auf der Terrasse gegessen und würden wiederkommen, würden wir morgen nicht schon abreisen.

14/07/2024: Do not go to this restaurant if you want friendly, pleasant service, or if you don’t speak Italian. We arrived and were completely ignored by all the waiting staff. When we finally were allocated a table again we were ignored. I had to go up to the counter to ask for a bottle of water given that it was an extremely hot day. It seemed like none of the staff wanted to be there. They all appeared extremely grumpy. On the plus side, at least the food was good, but it was definitely not an enjoyable experience.

18/08/2024: Abbiamo cenato in questo posto e siamo rimasti insoddisfatti, per un'insalata e una pizza abbiamo aspettato più di un'ora e i piatti erano totalmente insapore. Prezzi alti per la qualità dei piatti. Da evitare...

18/08/2024: Posto pessimo da evitare. Posto per fregare iĺ turista di passaggio. Arancine al burro acide probabilmente del giorno prima e rifritte. Calzoni pomodo e formaggio secchi e senza condimento. Ho fatto notare la cosa alle 2 cameriere di sala che si sono vaporizzate dicendo che loro non erano le padrone del locale . La padrona sciccosissima del locale avvertita dalle cameriere della mia lamentela non si è neanche avvicinata al tavolo per dare spiegazioni. Maleducatissima. Alla fine ci ha fatto pagare fino all'ultimo centesimo. Purtroppo il turismo esagerato porta a queste conseguenze.

28/08/2024: I only gave one star because there was no possibility of giving less. I just hope that someone before sitting down to "eat" reads all and I mean all the reviews. Unprofessional welcome, from those who are not used to catering, at times almost bordering on rudeness. Not even the time to sit down, which was already expected to be ordered, there was a clear desire to send the customer away. Not a wide choice of dishes because there was no availability of ingredients: in short, you had to invent dishes to satisfy them. Let's get to the point: the 'appetizer accompanied by four mini slices of stale bread. The first was the straw that broke the camel's back. Seafood pasta with industrial seasoning drained and thrown on the pasta, with little foresight, the same seasoning as the appetizer, if I have to eat canned pasta I go to the supermarket. Now I understand why they arrived quickly. Ate badly, spent a lot for what was offered so as not to repeat this experience. If you are hungry, change your seat and don't be silent. Rating 0

25/08/2024: I had dinner in this place with my partner: we ordered a good and simply prepared seafood appetizer; both first courses turned out to be mediocre, not so much for the quality of the fish but for the preparation. The tagliolini with seafood were watered down and tasteless, the Palermo-style pasta only tasted of fennel. Definitely overpriced for what we ate. The experience was overall disappointing, I would go back just for the bitterness. Friendly staff.

26/06/2024: Non bisogna date tutto per scontato… posto mare stupendo, pulizia e organizzazione al top ( e per chi ha origini sotto il Tevere sa cosa intendo) Il titolare sig. Gigi , abile e gentile sa come gestire al meglio tutto.. Parla greco con i greci e romano con i romani E poi, come vedete nella foto i limoni a tavola incamiciati non sino da tutti Neanche a Villa Igea o al San Domenico

03/06/2024: Scenario incantevole curato nei minimi dettagli,tutto molto elegante.Location a dir poco magica con un panorama mozzafiato.Il proprietario è semplicemente il top,simpatico e accogliente,pronto a far divertire tutti.Per quanto riguarda la cucina,piatti super veloci,ben presentati,cotti alla perfezione.
