16/10/2025: Unfortunately, I'm forced to give it one star, if not less. I've been ordering from this place forever, but recently I've noticed a decline in quality. Every time—and I mean every time—I order, the restaurant changes or removes ingredients without any kind of communication (e.g., the cutlet instead of the classic Poldo chicken, or a Professore without mushrooms, etc.). The fries are cold and of lower quality than before, a salmon sandwich with two meager slices of salmon... In short, terrible value for money. It's a shame because it used to be one of the best.

20/09/2025: I STRONGLY RECOMMEND LONG-TERM CUSTOMERS NOT TO SET FOOT HERE. I went to a place I've been going to for years. I ordered, and after almost 40 minutes of waiting, they realized they'd lost my order, and with a huff, they took it back without even listening. Later, after they'd delivered the sandwiches and were leaving, I realized one was missing. Instead of apologizing in every way, they huffed and puffed and complained to the kitchen. I asked the owner to come out to apologize, and he almost wanted to punch me just because I was so upset. I think the old owner, "Paolo," would have sent everyone home if he'd seen a scene like that. A loyal customer since the old location, but after this, they lost an entire family of customers.

12/07/2025: To forget. I booked a banquet for 50 people well in advance, choosing it specifically for the beauty of the exterior. Three days before the event, I was moved to another area of the villa due to the addition of other guests to another event on the same day. I accepted, understanding the situation. The very morning of my event, I received a call to inform me that over 100 people had been added to the other event and that I would no longer be able to use the exterior. This forced me to move entirely to a venue with no exterior and completely different from the vision I had envisioned for my event, which had been organized down to the last detail. You can imagine the stress, anger, and frustration I faced on a day that was supposed to be one of celebration and serenity. I've never seen or heard anyone tell me they had to change venues or even days (because I was even advised to change days, but the reason was my own, not theirs!), despite booking well in advance, giving priority to another event with more people, and completely ignoring the requests we had agreed upon from the start. Moral of the story: at 1:00 PM that same day, I had to completely reorganize an event elsewhere.

29/06/2025: Renovated premises very relaxing to go and eat, excellent location

11/11/2025: Nice campsite with fresh bread every morning and a mini-market. Clean showers. Unfortunately, there were a lot of mosquitoes during our stay in early November. Beautiful beach right next to the campsite.

02/11/2025: We stayed one night in October, and overall it was okay. Surrounded by beautiful greenery, the bathrooms are fairly new and generally clean. Bread and croissants are available in the morning upon reservation. With a membership card, we paid €23 plus tax. Not bad.

18/10/2025: Very nice palce but very isolated. We planed tovisit Siracusa and thought it was near by, but it takes 30min each way to Siracusa. The atmosphere is nice but too far no much visitors and we felt like we dropped in the midle of nowhere. The facility is excelent for people that would like to rest. It wasn't our case.

11/10/2025: This place must be fantastic, but it's currently lacking. The day I stayed there was a storm, and there was no cell phone coverage or Wi-Fi in the room. And there were some bugs in the room. It's a shame because the room was huge, very well-equipped, and spacious.

17/10/2025: Goodies and pastries. Homemade in the lab.

07/10/2025: Wide selection of croissants and desserts, all excellent. Pino and Luca, always wonderful people.

12/10/2025: The only multiplex in Syracuse, now a bit dated. It would be desirable to replace the seats.

27/09/2025: The theater was clean and the staff were friendly. It's a shame the movie started so late, and no one said anything to the kids who were chatting and disrupting the entire movie.

28/09/2025: Yesterday, September 27th, I shopped at Md. When I went to the checkout, the cashier added 5 items from the previous person to my shopping list, for a total of 10 euros. These items I hadn't bought and were paid for by me. Therefore, I was scammed. Unfortunately, I didn't call the police because I can't prove it since I had already brought the shopping home. Only then did I look at the receipt and realize it was a scam. Emanuele Cappuccio. Be careful with cashiers!

06/07/2025: Assolutamente da non prendere le linguine al gambero rosso. Ci siamo ritrovate con una pasta scarsa, con pochi gamberetti in stile surgelato che non avevano nulla a che vedere col gambero rosso di Mazara. Trappola per turisti

05/07/2025: Convinti delle recensioni piuttosto positive prenotiamo in questo ristorante che effettivamente è situato in posizione strategica e molto bella ma gli aspetti positivi finiscono qui! Servizio molto lento anche se presenti parecchie cameriere. Abbiamo dovuto attendere per avere l’acqua successivamente per avere il vino e le pietanze. Il primo è arrivato quando avevamo ancora i piatti dell’antipasto. Per quanto riguarda il cibo: abbastanza buono l’antipasto “di Ercole” mentre i primi assolutamente no. Le busiate allo scoglio erano brodose, il pesce volendo c’era ma cucinato così è uno spreco. Le busiate alle sarde molto forti di sapore, non le ho apprezzate. Prezzo direi non adeguato2 antipasti, 3 primi, mezzo litro di vino della casa 111 euro.

27/10/2025: I had a cup of white chocolate and cremino for the first time. The white chocolate tasted horrible, like it had gone bad. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and went back for the same flavors. Now I've been in bed for two days with gastroenteritis that's destroying my stomach, probably due to that ice cream. Avoid!

13/09/2025: The ice cream was good, and the cone was well-made. Unfortunately, I noticed that the person preparing the ice cream touched part of the cone with their hand over the napkin, so there was direct contact with their hand. It would be better to pay a little more attention to hygiene during preparation.

27/09/2025: Pasta is quite good. Limited variety. Not that attentive to tourists. Went 2 nights and first was reasonable, but was served vinegar red wine on the second. Limited attention to quality and good food. A bit over priced

08/09/2025: We came here for lunch with friends after a brief visit to Palazzolo in August. The experience was incredibly positive: two of us ate gluten-free, and both the wait staff and the kitchen went out of their way to accommodate us. We had two amazing first courses (mine with delicious sun-dried tomatoes!), house antipasti, and two salads, both of which were also fantastic.

09/09/2025: I tried this sandwich shop on the recommendation of a friend, and I have to say the food is truly the highlight! The sandwiches are made with fresh, tasty, and well-balanced ingredients—every bite is satisfying. The atmosphere is casual, young, and relaxed—perfect for a quick dinner with friends.

27/08/2025: Often, when I don't have time to prepare dinner, I go to this sandwich shop for something. The staff is very kind. It's a shame that the hamburger I ate last night gave me severe bacterial gastroenteritis. I understand the amount of work involved, but please be more careful with storage temperatures and especially with cooking.

29/10/2025: A very positive experience during my week's vacation with my wife. A clean, quiet property with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Cristina and the entire staff were generously available, even with tourist information. The best part was the breakfast, which was good but lacked Sicilian products, and the option of dining on site occasionally. Overall, I highly recommend it and would gladly return. Maurizio

26/07/2025: We just spent three pleasant nights in this quiet agritourism lodge, yet not too far from the town center. A warm welcome and dedicated staff. We recommend the homemade meal (excellent value for money).

10/11/2025: What a shame... I've never experienced such appalling service in my life! During last Saturday's fixed-price dinner (drinks included), a rude and aggressive waiter snatched a bottle of water from the table from a woman in our group. The bottle was included on the menu and had been requested in place of other drinks. After reporting the unfortunate and humiliating incident, we received no apologies from either the owner or the waiter who had committed the nasty act. A ruined dinner: like losing a regular group of 10 people.

09/11/2025: Decent pizza, decent location, terrible service, owner uninterested in customer satisfaction. Not recommended.
