25/12/2025: The food was average. I had the pizza siracusa, which included canned anchovies, chicken breast, and sun-dried cherry tomatoes. The crust was chewy and nice, but it was way too salty—far too salty! I had to refill my teacup. The waiter was very helpful, noticing my needs at appropriate times without asking too many questions. The lighting in my seat was poor, making it unsuitable for eating. The drinks were okay, but the coffee was terrible. The prices were typical tourist rates.

03/12/2025: Warning!!! Credit card fraud during a car rental at the hotel. We were on vacation at this hotel from August 29th to September 6th, 2025. The rental agent took a photo of both sides of our credit card for the security deposit, and today (December 3rd, 2025), three months later, there was a charge of €106 from a car rental company (even though we paid for the rental that same day). Be extremely vigilant!

11/11/2025: The hotel is very run-down. The balconies look like they're about to collapse, the repairs in the rooms are shoddy, the soundproofing is nonexistent, and the bedding is terrible: the mattress springs dig into your ribs. Otherwise, the room was clean. The entertainment team was friendly. The all-you-can-eat buffet was very mediocre: a cold buffet and a hot buffet, but ultimately the same thing every day, lunch and dinner for a week. The quality was very poor, and there was little to no dessert offered. Excursions were expensive and unguided. We did find some nice people to laugh with about our woes with the hotel, but this experience left a really bitter taste.

11/07/2026: I've eaten at many places, but I have to say that this is something else entirely. Besides the location, which is very similar to the Spanish Quarters of Naples, the pizza was exceptional, very similar to Neapolitan pizza: well-seasoned, with a light dough and expert leavening. The staff was very friendly and always attentive to every request, not to mention the price we paid for three people was really low. We'll definitely see you soon. PS: The table in the center of the square was TOP.

29/05/2026: Ordered a burger, they didn't have burger bread so only got a burger meat. No salad or dressing just a ton of fries that had to be ordered additionally

31/07/2026: I'd like to share my culinary experience at this restaurant. The unique flavors are made with love. I've always found the chef's touch of originality in every dish. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I recommend it if you're looking for a quiet, relaxing place away from the hustle and bustle of town.

23/08/2026: We ordered seafood pasta for €19.00, which arrived with clearly not-so-fresh and overly spicy fish that overpowered all the flavors. After two or three forkfuls, my throat was burning. When the waitress came to clear the food, the problem was pointed out and asked to be reported to the manager. We saw the manager report it, but she didn't even come to the table. When it came to the bill, the issue was brought up again with another waitress, but the matter was dismissed by saying she wasn't the manager. It was a buck-passing game among the waiters. No discount, not even 50 cents off the total.

19/08/2026: We visited your restaurant today, and unfortunately, our experience was a complete disaster. To be fair, the food itself was good. There's nothing wrong with that. My partner ordered a pizza, and I ordered a pasta dish. However, the problem started right from the beginning: we had to wait about half an hour before our order was even taken. Then we waited another hour or so for the pizza. When my partner's pizza finally arrived, my pasta still hadn't come. Naturally, we wanted to eat together, so my partner waited for me. Five minutes passed, then ten. We asked a waiter where my food was. He assured us he would check with the kitchen and that we should wait five minutes. However, he never came back and didn't seem to care about our situation any further. After another ten minutes, we asked a different waiter. He seemed very stressed due to the large number of customers and simply told us to wait. Later, two more waiters came and assured us they would check with the kitchen. Shortly after, however, we saw them coming out of the kitchen with plates and handing them to guests who had clearly ordered or entered the restaurant after us. At this point, several employees were obviously already aware of our problem. Despite this, no real solution was found. My partner even went to speak with the manager and explained the situation. Unfortunately, she also showed no real interest in our concern. Instead of addressing the situation or at least offering a solution, she continued to work on her cash register. She offered neither a proper apology nor any attempt at compensation. The result: My partner's pizza was now cold because he had waited for his food out of consideration for me. My pasta finally arrived about 45 minutes late. I completely understand that things can go wrong when the restaurant is busy. That can happen. What really disappointed me, however, was how the situation was handled. We weren't offered an apology, any small compensation, or even a complimentary dessert. On the contrary: After we expressed our dissatisfaction, we felt completely ignored and barely acknowledged. In the end, we paid full price for this experience. For me, a good restaurant visit includes not only good food, but also a certain level of service and a respectful handling of mistakes. Unfortunately, both were completely lacking that evening. We will definitely not be visiting this restaurant again and, based on our experience, cannot recommend it.

20/06/2026: Bar Cristina is undoubtedly in a great location. We were there in early June around noon, and it wasn't very crowded. It's popular with locals and tourists. The quality of the dishes varies depending on the time of day. Mornings are better. The outdoor organization could certainly be improved, but I saw the staff very busy with that. It's probably difficult to quickly coordinate the transformation of breakfast tables into lunch tables... Unfortunately, this significantly affects the time between placing an order and receiving it. Customers are forced to repeatedly request delivery, and the initial relaxation created by the location is significantly diminished. However, the aspect that greatly disappointed me was the discrepancy between what you actually eat and the final bill. For two basic salads and two half-liter plastic bottles of water, we paid €37, adding an extra €4.50 for drinks we didn't order. I'm sure they acted in good faith, but it's a bit puzzling given that the outdoor seating wasn't crowded enough to justify an "oversight." I'd say it would be a shame to waste a glass of water. I also recommend paying more attention to the cleanliness of the tables, especially the restroom area.

08/12/2025: Friendly and attentive service (hence the star), but unfortunately by far the worst pizza we've ever eaten in Italy. No fresh toppings, canned tomato sauce, and far too much bad cheese; everything was swimming in grease. I sent half of it back – I've never experienced anything like it!

28/10/2025: Passed in September, medium quality cone and excessive price.

02/01/2026: If you go to the restaurant the pizza is good but if you order it by phone the pizza arrives very cold and the service is too slow
