Za Bar In Siracusa

We were fortunate to discover this cafe during our stay in Siracusa. The staff are so lovely and the food and drinks are all delicious. We kept coming back here for breakfast and aperitivo. Keep up the amazing work guys!

A rather inconspicuous place next to the market, but the cannolo with ricotta was the best we ate during our 5 days in Sicily, and we ate it in several places. The price is probably 3.5 euros everywhere. Espresso 1.5 euros. If we ever come back to Siracusa we will definitely go there!!

The aranchino with ragu was lovely. Antonio and Louie Fabio were very welcoming and the service was great. Definitely worth a visit.

What a great experience we had chatting with Fabio (the Sicilian John Travolta) and Antonio while sipping our espresso and enjoying our cannolis. They were so warm and welcoming. A truly special moment for us.

We came here as all the other places nearby were full, and we wanted to avoid the crowd. The food was alright, but nothing special. There is no menu, or price indicated anywhere. We ended up paying more than 20 euros just for a quick snack. I am wondering if these were the real prices, if yes, then I would suggest to show their pricing on the items, so the final bill doesn’t come as a shock to the customers. We always order the same food at other similar places, and we usually pay around 10-15 euros.

Complimentary bfast at Za Bar was offered to us during our stay at a nearby B&B. Staff was very polite. D cornetti were mouth watering. Perfect way 2 start d day😀
