25/07/2025: Io e la mia amica durante il nostro soggiorno a Marzamemi, ci siamo rilassate in riva al mare ordinando 2 birre Messina, 1 porzione di fritto misto (veramente abbondante) e 1 porzione di patatine fritte. Spesa totale € 47. Il locale è veramente carino e regala un bellissimo tramonto.

24/07/2025: Cucina pessima per giunta a prezzi assolutamente inadeguati alla qualità..non c'è altro da dire, il servizio cortese e celere, ma non basta.

07/09/2025: The food was always very good, but the waitress was so rude that it would have been better to call the bar owner and ask for an explanation as to why she was behaving so rudely toward a customer. We sat down and asked for granitas. One almond and one ricotta, with a bit of chocolate granita on top. The lady serving us didn't understand this last request, and we explained it to her without any problem. It didn't seem like a difficult request to understand, especially since mixed granitas like this are very popular in Syracuse. The waitress then asked a lady next to us at another table, "Did you understand what they wanted?" and the lady replied, "Chocolate granita." We were left incredulous and bewildered. Asking someone who had nothing to do with anything to intervene was unprofessional and created a very obvious discomfort, and the lady sitting at her table wasn't required to respond because the waitress was serving us. This was very rude towards us customers, because if you don't understand the request, you don't call external customers, but the owner. But we let it go, thinking it could happen, maybe she was just confused. Then the order arrived, and she asked us if it was the right granita, and we replied that everything was correct. But then this happened. When we politely and politely asked for a straw, her response was, "Now you're asking too much!" in a very annoyed manner, confidently saying that it hadn't been asked for and as if it were an absurd request, it would have been better to get up and leave everything on the table, faced with such disrespectful behavior. Never It had happened in many popular bars and clubs. The waitress didn't even apologize, and we were left speechless and deeply disappointed. If she couldn't or didn't want to, we could have just said so and we would have understood. No one asked for anything. We could have understood if we had been disrespectful. We didn't ask for explanations and preferred to leave as quickly as possible, but at the cashier we should have, and perhaps could, done something. We don't know if anyone would have listened to us, but above all, we didn't want to cause further inconvenience given the way we were treated. It's possible that she had a bad day or maybe she was nervous, but you don't treat customers like that; they were kind and helpful to her. Politeness comes first in any job. Several months ago, the staff was really kind and courteous.

04/08/2025: Small but cozy bar, with friendly and helpful staff. The granitas are really good, but the brioches have a different flavor than the traditional ones (perhaps they're made with more eggs), and you may or may not like them. The only thing to keep in mind is that, being a small place, it's often crowded. When it came to the bill, there was a bit of a mix-up with a separate payment for a granita, which was still charged. The payment had already been made by card, so we let it slide, but a little more attention would have been appreciated.

14/06/2025: €4.50 for a granita and a brioche seems like an absurd price to me, given the quality of the granita which barely smelled of almond, my impression obviously If you say €3.70 then the girl made a mistake

25/02/2026: Il Messinese was one of the best pizzerias in Syracuse for many years. After a two-month closure for renovations, the restaurant reopened, but unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. A change is evident (probably management-related): the pizzas are very thin and burned, to the point of being inedible. I personally ordered a gluten-free pizza, and when I commented on the burning, the manager simply said it was "normal." I'll conclude by adding that they didn't even apologize, simply justifying themselves by saying they hadn't received any other complaints, almost as if our complaint were a figment of our imagination. I regret not checking the pizzas immediately, because they all needed to be remade. A real shame, considering the quality to which we had been accustomed to this place in the past.

13/12/2025: The best horse meat sandwich shop ever! Besides the quality, the food is cooked to perfection. I've been coming here for years and have always been incredibly satisfied! Arrusti e mangia in Floridia is a guarantee. The owners and staff are very helpful and cheerful. Recommended for all ages.

29/11/2025: A now almost historic ice cream shop in Syracuse, recently run by a young, friendly, and welcoming couple. A wide selection of excellent ice creams, friendly service, and a fair price/quality ratio. Recommended.

08/08/2025: Great café! Single origin arabica, which is so much tastier than any other bitter coffee. They give you extra hot water for an americano :) and good pastries

14/02/2026: I arrive at 8:55 PM, and they come to the table to order at 9:45 PM after I've called them repeatedly. I order a pizzolo with chicken at 9:45 PM, but they arrive while the pizzas are being served at 11 PM, saying the chicken is out of stock. I quickly choose another one, which still hasn't arrived after half an hour. Everyone's finished eating, and I'm not even hungry anymore. Shame on you. Don't go.

16/10/2025: Went there with nine people Paid €181 bill The food was damn bad I could have done better Lousy mussels, filled with stones and sand Pasta not al dente, but rock hard Beef steak was impossible to chew, impossible to swallow, really badly made Service as if they were robots No idea about waiters The chef has no idea about cooking Simply terrible, never again and I advise everyone not to go there. Find something on the main street instead. You won't be happy in this place.

27/11/2025: Great wine, delicious food, absolutely unique service! Ahmed is nice, cheerful and funny, the atmosphere is wonderful. The last time my mother fed me was about 60 years ago, and this year here! 😁 We recommend.

15/11/2025: The food and atmosphere were okay, but we spent an hour and a half in the restaurant, 45 minutes of which was just waiting for our main course. The staff was friendly, but they completely forgot about us, even though there weren't many customers. Such a wait time is unacceptable.

16/04/2025: This place is to be absolutely avoided. Neglected and very dirty environment. Just look at the state of the chairs. Children's area that hasn't been cleaned for months. Rude owners and staff. Never again. Very sad evening. Don't go.

27/03/2025: I had a wonderful evening with a pizza tour that was nothing short of exceptional: rich, tasty, and delicious. Impeccable service. The place was spotless, and after this first time, I'll gladly return. I recommend it to everyone.
