03/04/2025: Terrible hotel, poor food, dirty rooms, unprofessional and shady staff, the table cloths have been dirty since the first day we arrived and have never been changed. Shower repaired with plasterboard, water full of limestone comes out and gives off a significant sewage smell. Clogged sink which overflows in three seconds and consequently floods the entire bathroom. The towels are not changed and they stink. There are lumps of dust under the sheets, the mattresses moldy and dirty. There are worms around the "resort", the eco-leather chairs at the entrance are dirty, not to mention the floors. Terrible, ambiguous, shady experience and I would never go back again!

17/10/2024: A real dump. Dark, damp room that smells musty. Heat at night but impossible to open the small window in the door because it is full of mosquitoes. I was devoured, more than 40 bites on my body in the space of an hour. The shower randomly gives lukewarm water and cold water intermittently...
The place is a dump, waste is lying everywhere, the furniture in the courtyard is broken. We left without asking for our rest the next day at 7:30 a.m. after a hellish night. We had to stay 2 nights, it was absolutely and indisputably impossible. I don't understand why this place is authorized to welcome tourists.
The only convenient point close to Syracuse.

09/03/2025: Deludente, pranzo con pessima qualità di cibo. Situato nel lungo mare di Avola e mangiare pesce congelato!!! Servizio mediocre. Sconsigliatissimo!!
26/01/2025: Ragazzi, non so cosa è successo ma ormai non si mangia più bene da qualche tempo, ma la gente che va a mangiare in questo posto ne capisce di cibo ? Mi sa di no, calamari delle linguine duri, le cozze sporchissime, il sughetto pieno di sabbia,immangiabile, per non parlare del fritto misto,che tutto sembrava tratta quello,più che altro sembrava farina fritta, il resto lasciamo perdere, unica cosa buona il pomodoro di pachino e forse un po il cocktail di gamberi, le persone si lasciano trasportare dalle porzioni abbondanti, però si mangia molto male e non ne vale la pena!

01/11/2024: The rooms are not what you expect for 4 stars, my first shower was with ice cold water, the ground wasn't flat, tiny bathtub, the water is so salty and stinky, better not drink it. The staff was friendy and helpful, no problems there. Breakfast could have more 'salty' options. Except for the coffee, due to the water, the coffee was salty. Perfect location for exploring Ortigia and Neapolis and all between by foot.

25/02/2025: I attended an evening with a live band on Saturday evening.
Where it is recorded like the one I participated in which was a Pooh tribute, there is a presence of people exceeding 250, as I could see from the turnout for the event I was present at.
I paid little because I also ate a pizza that was really decent, nothing to say: in other places to have a pizza in less than an hour with such confusion you need very light mini pizzas. Here, however, it was a classic pizza that weighed at least half a kilo. I saw that people had fun and a very nice environment was created
24/02/2025: For Valentine's Day we found ourselves in this place with a group of friends: first and I would say last time for all of us!! €16 menu which included pizza (limited choice, very limited indeed), drink and dessert. Inedible pizza and for dessert they brought us a small square of brownie cake (which is on sale in discount stores for just over €1) accompanied by a splash of cream!!! Waited for the pizza for more than an hour because despite everything (I can't explain why except that everyone found themselves there by chance) the place (a rustic and cold warehouse both in temperature and furnishings) was full. Ah, I want to clarify that I am not part of the "competition"

27/10/2024: Una schifezza. Ci ha servito una cameriera col grembiule sporco. Il cibo peggio dei 4 salti in padella scongelato. Nella pasta con le sarde erano presenti strane bacche al posto dell'uvetta
20/09/2024: Abbiamo fatto una cena in due, ordinato dei ravioli tipici con il sugo e una buonissima tagliata con rucola e grana, tutto di buona qualità, lo consiglio vivamente per che vuole provare gusti della tradizione Siciliana.

10/03/2025: Unglaublich. Ich kann es noch immer nicht fassen. Für einen Kaffee, einen Latte macchiato und zwei mittelgroße Stück "Torte" bezahlten wir 26€. Auch wenn die Lage des Cafés recht gut ist, rechtfertigt das in keiner Weise diese Preise und ist uns nirgendwo auf unserer Reise durch Sizilien begegnet.
10/03/2025: Im Café werden keine Preise ausgewiesen - normalerweise kein Problem.
Im Caffe Minerva sehr wohl.
Für Kaffee oder Kuchen zahlst du doppelt soviel wie üblich.
Wenn du also der Abzocke nicht Vorschub leisten willst, meide diesen Laden!
Dazu noch ein äußerst überschaubares Angebot.

Locale bellissimo, servizio cortese e una magnifica sezione di cose buone da mangiare. Dei fritti straordinari, salumi e formaggi c’è di meglio, ma buoni. Pasta con le sarde da applausi.
Nota importante: servono tutto anche senza glutine e questo è veramente da professionisti!

11/10/2024: Siamo tornati più volte in questo ristorante e non ci ha mai deluso: né per il cibo (molto buono e senza fronzoli) né per il servizio ( avendo ordinato un dolce che era presente in menù ma non effettivamente disponibile, ci è stato gentilmente offerto - anche nel senso di non caricato nel conto- un altro dessert). La location è molto gradevole.

06/08/2023: I entered this restaurant for the first time in several years and was surprised by how much it has changed.
When the store was new, it was bright and clean, with two pleasant young women working there. It was a lovely shop, with a lively atmosphere and delicious cheesecakes.
When I visited this time, the walls and paint were peeling in places and the floor was covered in dirt. When I sat down, there was a pile of bread crumbs from the previous person on the corner of the table and the table top was sticky. There were paper and pens on the table and from the countless drawings hanging on the walls it seemed that they invited us to draw freely. This might be fine for families with children, but I don't like it when these things are already on the table when you sit down. It is messy and lacks a sense of cleanliness.
The restaurant was dimly lit and when I looked, only one of several lamps was on. There was no air conditioning, so it was very hot and humid.
The food wasn't bad. But the atmosphere of the restaurant is very bad. It's rare to find such a dirty restaurant. The menu is different from when the restaurant opened and the management may have changed.
Unfortunately I won't be coming here anymore. It's a shame because I really liked this restaurant.
