31/07/2025: I expected more... well-kept hotel... 2 nice pools but no entertainment or a lifeguard... plus on the lawn by the pool there are ants, the red ones that bite and swell you worse than mosquitoes... at least I'm speaking for myself who had to resort to a cortisone cream... no catering... a challenge for lunch since everything in the surrounding area was closed... what can I say... shame... a hotel with great potential... but I definitely won't be returning...

08/09/2025: The small shop is run by an elderly lady and her husband. Both were very nice and even spoke German. The food was really good, and the prices were more than fair. The shop is clean, but the ambiance is quite plain and simple. If you're expecting a Michelin-starred restaurant, this is the wrong place. But if you're looking for a small shop with friendly hosts and simple, yet good, affordable food, this is the place.

02/05/2025: Cibo scadente, servizio lentissimo e lunghi tempi di attesa, prezzi alti (guardatevi dalla vecchia quando vi fa il conto) un antipasto per 4 (unico piatto) al prezzo di 4 singoli antipasti, 2 litri di acqua 7 euro.

21/10/2025: High-quality pizzolo, with quality ingredients and dough. The filancino is also excellent and soft. Prices are average, and the staff is a bit tart. It's a shame about the location; it's difficult to find, hidden in the countryside between Solarino and Sortino. But it's worth it!

18/10/2025: Rooms are clean, they came to clean every day, we were here for 4 days, the price is also very good. Breakfast selection is quite extensive. Very nice little place, close to everything.

10/10/2025: A quaint location halfway between Ortigia and Syracuse's attractions, accessed from a beautiful square. The room and bathroom are modern and comfortable, though the only flaw is the very poor soundproofing. Excellent breakfast at the café downstairs. Excellent experience!

04/08/2025: Small but cozy bar, with friendly and helpful staff. The granitas are really good, but the brioches have a different flavor than the traditional ones (perhaps they're made with more eggs), and you may or may not like them. The only thing to keep in mind is that, being a small place, it's often crowded. When it came to the bill, there was a bit of a mix-up with a separate payment for a granita, which was still charged. The payment had already been made by card, so we let it slide, but a little more attention would have been appreciated.

14/06/2025: €4.50 for a granita and a brioche seems like an absurd price to me, given the quality of the granita which barely smelled of almond, my impression obviously If you say €3.70 then the girl made a mistake

20/09/2025: I STRONGLY RECOMMEND LONG-TERM CUSTOMERS NOT TO SET FOOT HERE. I went to a place I've been going to for years. I ordered, and after almost 40 minutes of waiting, they realized they'd lost my order, and with a huff, they took it back without even listening. Later, after they'd delivered the sandwiches and were leaving, I realized one was missing. Instead of apologizing in every way, they huffed and puffed and complained to the kitchen. I asked the owner to come out to apologize, and he almost wanted to punch me just because I was so upset. I think the old owner, "Paolo," would have sent everyone home if he'd seen a scene like that. A loyal customer since the old location, but after this, they lost an entire family of customers.

25/07/2025: I've tried this sandwich shop several times, and I can confirm that the ingredients are high-quality and the portions are generous. The food is good and not too expensive. The only downside is the bread, which unfortunately isn't always up to par, often being hard or crumbling easily, and sometimes not seeming to be the freshest. It's a shame, because it ruins the sandwich a bit. The service is a bit slow because there's only one person managing both tables and the cash register, but you can sense the team's commitment. With a few small adjustments to the bread and an extra staff member, it could really become a point of reference.

25/10/2025: Very good pizza. I had a smoked pizza and my boyfriend had a Bedduvurisi. Small but cozy pizzeria. Excellent quality ingredients. Easy to get to.

31/08/2025: We were heading off to bed without pretensions after strutting through the streets of Syracuse. And then, a stroke of genius: we stumbled upon this bar next to our hotel. We walked in without pretension, took an order, and sat down at a table. I've never seen such a good alcohol-to-price ratio, since my €7 caipirinha was full of alcohol. At the same time, served by the owner with a cigarette in his mouth, I couldn't have expected better. Besides, I thought the owner smoked at the bar from time to time: he managed to knock back a carton before closing time. I wouldn't want to be his lungs, as black as Tom Riddle's mind. Given our good humor and our fighting spirit, the owner even offered us shots! He performed a superb sleight of hand by setting the bar on fire, as well as the mixed glass in his hand. The waitress was also very helpful, offering us a bowl of potatoes I think 10 times, enough to make the Irish pale during the famous famine. Special mention to the Sudanese waiter who thought the French were weak, but no way. He probably drank as many glasses as we did while still doing his job perfectly, hats off to the artist. In the end, this bar is like a potato lying around among the fries at McDonald's; it's the result of a poor separation so that, in the end, it enhances our fries.

06/09/2025: I have a 4-year-old who URGENTLY needs to go to the bathroom, and the owner keeps depriving him of it just because we didn't buy anything from her! Shame on you. But I should have left the penny tip just to contribute to your savings and buy you a little bit of kindness! Zero humanity!

24/08/2025: If you want to eat the best, tastiest, and most succulent sandwiches in Marzamemi, then you absolutely have to come to Zia Lea! Excellent sandwiches, from hamburgers to hot dogs, excellent service, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and great prices! If you happen to be in Marzamemi on vacation or otherwise and pass by Zia Lea, don't miss the opportunity! You won't regret it!

19/10/2025: Complete disaster, after an hour and forty minutes of waiting only the water and wine arrived... we got up and left... totally unacceptable.

12/10/2025: Excellent restaurant located in the heart of Trastevere, just steps from the eponymous avenue and Rome's nightlife. Truly excellent food; I highly recommend the boiled meatballs and the courtyard ragù! The atmosphere is elegant and lively, and the staff is friendly and attentive. We'll be back!

23/10/2025: I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, either for the food or the hospitality. The owner, in particular, is very rude and obsessed with money. She wants the bill to be paid by direct debit without issuing a receipt. They don't care about their customers.

23/10/2025: Terrible experience! Cute courtyard. As soon as you sit down, they do everything they can to serve you quickly and send you off immediately. Too expensive for the poor quality. The exposed kitchen is dirty and leaves much to be desired. The waiters are very polite, but the same cannot be said for the owner. She overcharged us for paying with a POS terminal. Furthermore, if you pay in cash, they don't even issue a receipt. To make us pay in cash, she offered to give us a discount so we wouldn't issue a receipt. I won't go back and I don't recommend it to anyone. It's just a tourist trap!

12/10/2025: The bread is good and there is a lot of variety, the rotisserie and the hot food are excellent, the desserts are also worth a try
