13/09/2025: The ice cream was good, and the cone was well-made. Unfortunately, I noticed that the person preparing the ice cream touched part of the cone with their hand over the napkin, so there was direct contact with their hand. It would be better to pay a little more attention to hygiene during preparation.

10/09/2025: I'm sorry, it used to be much better before. I used to get huge tubs of yogurt ice cream. I've been there three times recently but the yogurt was sour. It wasn't like that before, it wasn't edible. They must have changed the quality of the yogurt. Before, it was delicious, the best in Syracuse, but now it's poor quality. I hope they change because it was inedible. I'm sorry to say this, but maybe this opinion could be useful to the owner so he can bring back the product that was there before.

17/09/2025: The rooms are architecturally beautifully integrated into the monastery complex. There are no rooms in the main building. The outdoor area for breakfast and dinner is very nice. The pool area is also attractive, with plenty of loungers and umbrellas. We booked for two weeks. We inspected several rooms. All of them smelled strongly of mold and spores. It was unbearable (I travel a lot and know that you have to be a bit more generous in southern countries)!! In one room, a fan was extremely loud, but also couldn't be turned off. I had a CPAP machine with me. The fine filter, which I had freshly inserted before the vacation, was completely black afterward. I wanted to eat a salad at the outdoor bar. I was given an empty bottle of oil to go with it. When I asked, they said they were out of oil in the outdoor area and referred me to pre-packaged sachets that were on the table (we're talking about a 5-star hotel). Breakfast consisted of sliced ​​cheese, cheap sugary cereal, and, at least in part, burnt scrambled eggs. I'm aware that 5-star in Italy might be equivalent to 3-star in Germany, so my expectations here are quite relaxed. But the rooms are a disgrace and, above all, highly hazardous to health.

25/07/2025: Io e la mia amica durante il nostro soggiorno a Marzamemi, ci siamo rilassate in riva al mare ordinando 2 birre Messina, 1 porzione di fritto misto (veramente abbondante) e 1 porzione di patatine fritte. Spesa totale € 47. Il locale è veramente carino e regala un bellissimo tramonto.

24/07/2025: Cucina pessima per giunta a prezzi assolutamente inadeguati alla qualità..non c'è altro da dire, il servizio cortese e celere, ma non basta.

12/07/2025: To forget. I booked a banquet for 50 people well in advance, choosing it specifically for the beauty of the exterior. Three days before the event, I was moved to another area of the villa due to the addition of other guests to another event on the same day. I accepted, understanding the situation. The very morning of my event, I received a call to inform me that over 100 people had been added to the other event and that I would no longer be able to use the exterior. This forced me to move entirely to a venue with no exterior and completely different from the vision I had envisioned for my event, which had been organized down to the last detail. You can imagine the stress, anger, and frustration I faced on a day that was supposed to be one of celebration and serenity. I've never seen or heard anyone tell me they had to change venues or even days (because I was even advised to change days, but the reason was my own, not theirs!), despite booking well in advance, giving priority to another event with more people, and completely ignoring the requests we had agreed upon from the start. Moral of the story: at 1:00 PM that same day, I had to completely reorganize an event elsewhere.

27/05/2025: Stopped for a quick lunch. Cold arancini and tasteless bruschetta . Try ‘a putia’ around the corner for far superior bruschetta and much cheaper. Waitress forgot the coffee - it wasn’t added to the bill.

03/05/2025: Unfortunately we didn't like it, neither the price for what we got nor the service. Furthermore, with the three aperitif cocktails we had, we were not brought anything to eat and for the price spent (an average of €8 per drink), as well as for the type of drink taken, we thought it was logical to have. Patience!

21/10/2025: A beautifully landscaped campsite with beautiful trees and shrubs that are meticulously maintained. The sanitary facilities look very luxurious, but some repairs/maintenance are needed here and there. There's a lovely beach, which looked a bit messy this October. Two large plastic containers were left near the entrance, and there were decaying plywood sheets on the beach. If they were cleaned up, it would greatly improve the overall experience. It was a good base for visiting Syracuse (a great city, and although touristy, it has a nice "spirit") and Noto (beautiful but with less "spirit").

17/10/2025: An extremely unfriendly reception. We arrived with our two small children between 7 and 8 p.m. The owner acted as if we were going to wake him up at 3 a.m. and sent us away, gesticulating wildly and cursing us in Italian. It was a blessing in disguise, because all the campers we encountered later advised us to avoid this place.

14/07/2025: Chosen to spend a night after the show at the Greek Theater. Excellent location and ample parking. Friendly and professional staff offering advice and directions. The structure is a bit dated and could use some updating.

07/10/2025: Wide selection of croissants and desserts, all excellent. Pino and Luca, always wonderful people.

12/10/2025: The only multiplex in Syracuse, now a bit dated. It would be desirable to replace the seats.

27/09/2025: The theater was clean and the staff were friendly. It's a shame the movie started so late, and no one said anything to the kids who were chatting and disrupting the entire movie.

06/07/2025: Assolutamente da non prendere le linguine al gambero rosso. Ci siamo ritrovate con una pasta scarsa, con pochi gamberetti in stile surgelato che non avevano nulla a che vedere col gambero rosso di Mazara. Trappola per turisti

05/07/2025: Convinti delle recensioni piuttosto positive prenotiamo in questo ristorante che effettivamente è situato in posizione strategica e molto bella ma gli aspetti positivi finiscono qui! Servizio molto lento anche se presenti parecchie cameriere. Abbiamo dovuto attendere per avere l’acqua successivamente per avere il vino e le pietanze. Il primo è arrivato quando avevamo ancora i piatti dell’antipasto. Per quanto riguarda il cibo: abbastanza buono l’antipasto “di Ercole” mentre i primi assolutamente no. Le busiate allo scoglio erano brodose, il pesce volendo c’era ma cucinato così è uno spreco. Le busiate alle sarde molto forti di sapore, non le ho apprezzate. Prezzo direi non adeguato2 antipasti, 3 primi, mezzo litro di vino della casa 111 euro.

18/06/2025: Calidad de la comida enlatada. El vino estaba bien. El pescado no estaba muy fresco y no estaba bien cocinado. No se recomienda. El vino era bueno. Servicio bien

10/05/2025: I ragazzi sono simpatici e super accoglienti! Il posto è dentro al mercato, piccolino ma con tavolini e sedie comode. Il pesce è freschissimo, c’è una scelta abbondante in base al pescato del giorno. Veramente consigliato! Se volete mangiare pesce fresco, bere un bicchiere di vino e assaporare l’aria di mare e l’atmosfera del mercato, è il posto che fa per voi! :)
