We went to this café in the square for breakfast; the reviews weren't promising. We chose it every morning. The breakfast was very good, the owner was kind and friendly, and the waiter, Gabriele, was very professional and friendly. Anyone who says otherwise about this place is lying. Congratulations!

Bar La Vecchia Fontana

19/07/2026: The restaurant is very well located and we were served quickly. The pizzas arrived in less than 15 minutes and were good with a fairly thin crust.
03/07/2026: Excellent, one of the best in Noto. I come here every time I pass by and have always had a great experience. The brick with gelato and the iced coffee were perfect. Thank you.

28/10/2025: Passed in September, medium quality cone and excessive price.
03/10/2025: Strolling Ortigia we wanted lunch but not a restaurant meal. This central café was perfect for arancini regular, spinach and cheese sfoglia, 2x cannoli & 2x juice drinks. Quick service with a smile, we ate at an outside table. Tasty food. Total cost €23 for 2 of us. Recommended. (Note - We had started eating the cannoli before taking the photo.)
