17/04/2026: The property is located in the open countryside, on a hill in the Hyblaean Mountains. Easily accessible via GPS, and the property's signage is helpful. There's a final stretch of about 500 meters of dirt road, but it's not too difficult. This review is based on the Sunday lunch. Good food, well-portioned, including an appetizer, first course, second course with second course, small dessert, and coffee. €28 per person. Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful views of the countryside stretching to the sea and the slopes of Mount Etna. Ample free parking. Recommended.

10/04/2026: Great food as everyone here says. We sat outdoors in a quiet corner just off the street next to the church. Benvenuto tasting pieces before the meal. We had the lamb cutlets and pork shin for lunch. All perfecto!

08/04/2026: Sicilian hospitality at its finest: Cucina & Vino While searching for authentic Sicilian cuisine, I came across the restaurant Cucina & Vino. My conclusion: The food and wine selection, as well as the service and ambiance, are absolutely first-class. The family-run charm of this establishment is particularly noteworthy: While the father attentively and courteously serves the guests, his wife and son ensure excellent culinary delights in the kitchen. A visit that impressed in every respect – we are already looking forward to our next time at Cucina & Vino.

13/04/2026: So friendly, convenient and comfortable. The concierge was so helpful with our short stay in Ragusa. Room was really comfy, but a little tired in places. Breakfast was in a fabulous room with amazing service. Thank you so much!

07/04/2026: A TOP-NOTCH HOTEL IN THE CENTER OF RAGUSA IN A SENSATIONAL LOCATION ATTACHED TO THE CATHEDRAL. TOP-NOTCH STAFF: ATTENTIVE, KIND, ELEGANT, AND EXTREMELY HELPFUL. I REALLY ENJOYED THE BUFFET BREAKFAST WITH FRESH, QUALITY INGREDIENTS, THE SPA AREA, AND THE AMBIENCE THAT COMBINES DESIGN AND TRADITION.

22/03/2026: I walked away feeling ripped off - especially since this was the first restaurant I’ve encountered in two weeks that sought a tip - starting at 24%. I found this place using the Michelin app and it currently has a 4.6 rating on Google. I got the “SHEEP MEAT /ENDIVE /BAKED RICOTTA CHEESE.” I didn’t know what to expect, but most other dishes were made from organs so I hoped to play it safe. The waiter described the sheep meat as a “pot pie,” made from different sheep meat “textures.” In essence, it was a compilation of sheep (lamb?) stripes and what appeared to me minced of sheep meet. It was ok, but nothing exciting. The “endive, baked ricotta” portion of the meal was a a small salad. The endive was boiled and impossible to cut. The taste of the ricotta was lost on bitterness of the endive. This certainly was not a Michelin not a Google 4.6 experience.

11/03/2026: Sicilian home cooking. The atmosphere is simple and pleasant, as a "putia" should be. The staff is quick and very friendly. Reservations are recommended.

16/11/2025: We stumbled upon Al Gradino by chance and instantly fell in love with it. Around 9:45 pm, we were lucky enough to snag a spot on the steps – very cozy and with a unique atmosphere. They don't serve food at that hour, but the drinks were excellent. The service was quick and attentive, and the view of the illuminated city of Ragusa was breathtaking. An absolutely atmospheric place for an evening drink!

19/02/2026: A truly fascinating experience in the heart of Modica. The variety and selection of chocolate is incredible, with unique and sophisticated flavor combinations. The atmosphere is extremely clean, well-maintained, and modern. I truly appreciated the staff's willingness to let us taste all the different types of chocolate available: a great way to make an informed choice about your favorite flavors. A recommended stop for lovers of quality!

29/01/2026: There was a tour program, which included explanations of various chocolates and a brief demonstration of the technique for infusing chocolate with aromas in a back room. I was a bit disappointed with the hands-on experience, as it wasn't about making anything. The chocolate didn't stick to the roof of your mouth, which was a unique and luxurious touch. This is said to be due to the low-temperature process separating the chocolate from the sugar. I visited a sandwich shop in Syracuse, and while they sell the same chocolate, I couldn't sample it.

16/03/2026: Recommend! Spaghetti with squid ink was good. The waiters and other staffs treated us very nice. He prepared a stove and put AC on for us because the rain was terrible and we were totally wet. He also gave us flowers, he was so kind and sweet. Thank you for your kindness and service, we definitely visit again if we have a chance to go Modica🤍

19/12/2025: I went here for a company lunch and I have to say we had a great time. The room where our table was set was really lovely. We ate deliciously and the service was impeccable, thanks to a young woman who was our server the whole time. I highly recommend this place because it's truly intimate and you really feel at home. These are really lovely places, typical of home-made agritourism. Recommended!!
